Chapter 1012 Leave Together
Clarissa leaned forward and gave Matteo a warm hug.
"Grandma, you're the best."
Matteo smiled happily when Clarissa hugged her like this.
At noon, Clarissa stayed for lunch.
After lunch, Nora drove her to the company.
She went home in the evening after spending the entire afternoon dealing with various matters. Clarissa then informed Anderson of the arrangements she had made with Matteo earlier in the day.
When Anderson learned of this, he directed his personnel to make plans for the trip two days later.
Since all of the adults were going to leave this time, the two kids couldn't stay at home alone.
Originally, Clarissa had intended to entrust them to Gimmy for a few days.
He was, after all, Clarissa's uncle. Hence, he would not mistreat the kids, no matter what.
However, Anderson decided that he should bring the two kids with them since they were going to the Ethanbez Family and find Sierra.
There was no reason to be concerned about safety in any case. Furthermore, the school was on holiday during this period. The children would undoubtedly be unhappy if they left them at home.
Nevertheless, he had nothing else to do other than assisting Emmeline and Jara in keeping an eye on Jade of Heaven.
Therefore, he might as well take the kids out for a trip.
Upon hearing Anderson's words, Clarisa felt the same way. She indeed owed the two kids as she had been occupied for quite some time.
In addition, if the twins in her stomach were to be delivered, she would be unable to accompany Anne and Marf for an extended period of time.
Thus, spending more time with them now was better.
With this thought in mind, she said no more.
The two kids were naturally excited at the idea of traveling abroad with Clarissa and Anderson.
Anderson, on the other hand, had made a deal with them.
Since they were going abroad, it was tough to bring a large number of servants along. As a result, he and Clarissa had to do a lot of things on their own.
In fact. he was only concerned that Clarissa would be exhausted because she was pregnant.
Therefore, he had discussed the deal with Anne and Marf before leaving.
They were not allowed to fight or throw tantrums. Besides, they had to be obedient and respectful. Most importantly, they had to be courteous when they encountered the elderly. Otherwise, they were not allowed to follow.
The two children were so eager to go out with them that they were on the verge of losing their minds.
So how could they not agree with it?
In a hurry, they agreed with respect.
Following that, Anne and Marf had already packed their belongings on the day of their departure. Clarissa first took them to the grandparents' house to pick them up. Only then did they go to the airport together.
It was going to take more than four hours to travel from Flaucford to F Country. The two children were still ecstatic when they boarded the plane.
Fortunately, it was a private plane. There was no one else on board but members of the Jordan family and a medical team.
Anderson made Anne and Marf sit in their seats and then taught them a few simple games.
Watching Anderson playing with the kids, Clarissa raised the corner of her mouth with satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Matteo and Carlos were sitting in the front row of the cabin, already resting.
"Rest for a while if you're tired," Anderson then whispered to Clarrisa.
Clarissa shook her head.
"I'm not tired."
At the thought of meeting Sierra soon and seeing where she had lived for the past ten years, she couldn't help but feel happy.
So how would she feel sleepy now?
Now, she finally understood Anne and Marf's attitudes when they waited for her to get home every day.
One would always have a sense of attachment to their mothers, no matter what.
Although she wasn't Sierra's biological child, Sierra was the one who raised her. She had the most blissful eighteen years of her life with Sierra before she met Anderson.
Even with Chloe and Gianni, who were scums, her life had never been gloomy.
Well, it was all due to her mother's credit.
It was said that the unfortunate ones would spend their entire lives healing their childhood, while the lucky ones spent their entire lives being healed by childhood.
Thinking of this, she felt grateful and sighed with emotions. Although she had been abandoned since young, she had not been harmed in any way.
At least her life was full of love and happiness before she turned eighteen.
This also subsequently led to her self-confidence and perseverance.
The best part was that her mother, whom she had assumed had passed away, was still alive. Now, they were about to reunite again.
Well, things always seem to happen unexpectedly!
Everything was destined in the world. Karma was always nice to good people.
Sitting there, she had random thoughts running through her mind.
Next to her was Anderson's occasional laughter that came from playing with the children.
Seeing this, she closed her eyes in satisfaction.
Clarissa didn't plan to sleep at first.
Because she was not sleepy at all.
But, perhaps because the cabin's ambiance was too cozy, and possibly because she was surrounded by the people she loved, she felt calm in her heart and fell asleep unintentionally.
When she awoke, the plane had already come to a halt.
"Clarissa, wake up. We're here," Anderson patted her shoulder gently.
Hearing this, Clarissa gave him a nod. She discovered she had been covered by a thin blanket when she opened her eyes.
Embarrassed, she scratched her slightly messy hair.
"How did I fall asleep?"
Anderson chuckled. "Maybe you're too tired. Let's go down."
Clarissa nodded.
Anderson helped her stand up and reached out to fix her slightly disheveled hair. Only then did he lead her out of the plane.
Getting off the plane, they noticed the sky was overcast. It was a cloudy day.
The Ethanbez Family had anticipated their arrival and had sent a car to welcome them.
The plane was parked at the private airport. Matteo and her husband had already led Anne and Marf over. They were waiting for Clarissa and Anderson at an empty airport now.
Following Clarissa and Anderson's departure, a middle-aged man approached them with a smile.
"Mr. Jordan, Mrs. Jordan, the car is here. Come on."
Anderson nodded.
Then, he turned around to face Matteo. When Matteo saw this, she smiled and said, "You guys take that car. We will take your children with us in this car."
There were six of them, and they couldn't fit in a car. So, Anderson nodded his head.
The cars drove straight to the Ethanbezs' house once the group of people boarded them.
On the way, Clarissa sent a message to Lauren, stating that she had already gotten off the plane.
She later sent another message to Emmeline, informing her that she had arrived and inquiring about her arrival time.
Emmeline soon replied.
However, she claimed that she had arrived the night before.
They didn't have to worry about their family; thus, they were able to leave earlier. Moreover, they couldn't wait any longer and rushed over last night as it was about Jade of Heaven.
Seeing this, Clarissa couldn't help giggling.
