Chapter 525 She's Married
Sophia was awakened by the heat.
When she opened her eyes, she felt pain all over her body. There was an orange crystal lamp above her head and the shadow of its magnificent pattern was constantly twirling when reflected by the light, stinging her eyes a little.
Where was this place?
She darted her eyes around as she thought about it in a daze.
The room was luxuriously decorated in a classic style. There was a piece of modern art hanging up on the wall. The vibrant color and lines of the painting made her feel like she was in the middle of an absurd dream.
Was this a dream?
She closed her eyes again, thinking, "I hope I can keep dreaming and never wake up."
Sophia did not want to wake up to face such a cruel reality.
After a long time, she couldn't help but tense up as soon as the sound of footsteps suddenly came to her ears.
The bed slightly sank, as she felt someone had lifted the quilt and lied on the bed. Soon, the tip of her nose was enveloped by a cool male scent. An arm draped over her naked and delicate body, slowly travelling up.
"Ah!"
Sophia broke the silence right away and opened her eyes in shock.
The hand under the covers suddenly stopped.
Then, a male voice, which was as deep and mellow as a strong liquor, could be heard. "You're awake?"
Sophia turned her head, and she couldn't help but be stunned.
What a handsome man!
He was good-looking, with a sharp nose, a well-defined jawline, and slightly pursed thin lips. At this time, he was lazily leaning against the pillow, looking extremely sexy!
As her gaze slowly shifted downwards to his muscular chest...
"Ah!"
Sophia let out a scream and covered her head with the quilt.
"Who... Who are you? Why aren't you wearing any pants?"
Roland raised his brows.
Then, he said with surprise, "Why are you so surprised? You've already seen it before. There's no need to be shocked."
What?
Sophia suddenly lifted the blanket, revealing a pair of beady eyes as she stared at him.
"You... you said we had already..."
Roland nodded.
Ahhhhhhh!
Sophia wanted to cry but there were no tears left to cry. At this time, she also noticed that she was completely naked, wrapped in the blanket.
Moreover, there were some bits and pieces of memories left in her head. She had a dispute with Amanda and was slapped by her. At that time, she seemed to be drunk, and then she was taken away by the man.
"Sophia! How stupid are you? How stupid are you? How could you fall into the same trap twice?"
Sophia still remembered that two years ago when she got drunk at the bar and got so wild that Joel broke up with her.
Two years later, the same thing happened again!
"Sophia, you are so stupid!" Sophia chided herself.
The corners of Roland's lips curled up slightly. Looking at how Sophia was having a meltdown under the covers, he was really worried that she would suffocate herself to death.
He stretched out his hand to tug at the quilt and said, "Honey!"
"Honey? Who are you calling honey?"
Sophia roared in anger. Her face was flustered with anxiety and as red as tomatoes.
A trace of malicious flashed through Roland's eyes, and he teased, "You slept with me last night and now, you don't want to be responsible for it?"
Sophia was speechless. "Hey, you're a man. If you don't want to do it, I can't force you, right?"
Roland snorted, "Alas! Women are fickle-minded indeed. You're the one who kept calling me honey last night, but now you're pretending nothing had happened and wanting to leave? It won't be that easy."
As he said that, he picked up the phone on the bedside table and found a recording before throwing it to her.
"Here, listen to it yourself!"
Sophia blinked her eyes and clicked open the recording incredulously. In an instant, she was stupefied.
"Good girl, call me honey."
"Honey."
"Say, 'Honey, I want more.'"
"Honey, I want more."
"Then why don't you give me a kiss?"
Sophia was at a loss of words.
"What do you think? Do you believe me now?"
Roland pulled Sophia, who was still in a daze, into his arms, lowered his head and kissed her on the lips.
Sophia couldn't help but shiver. She wanted to push him away, but she felt weak all over.
When Roland finally let go of her, she was already out of breath and could not speak at all.
Roland curled his lips in satisfaction and tapped his finger on her slightly red and swollen lips. He said, "Remember, you're my wife. From now on, I am the only one who can touch you. If I see a scene like what happened during the day again, I will..."
"Wait a minute!"
Sophia interrupted him and said with a slight gasp, "Since we have done it, you should also know that I am not..."
"I don't mind."
Roland interrupted her, afraid that she would embarrass herself in the slightest.
"The most important thing in a relationship is that we are perfectly suited to each other spiritually. Besides, this is not my first time as well."
His first time was two years ago.
Sophia was completely stunned. She stared blankly at his handsome face and said, "But... But I really don't know you."
"Then you know me now! My name is Roland Blaine."
As Roland spoke, he opened the drawer of the bedside table and took out a piece of document.
When she was on the documents clearly, Sophia was completely stupefied!
It was actually a marriage certificate!
This couldn't be real!
She opened her eyes wide. It was like a bolt from the blue.
Sophia stared at him for a long time in disbelief. Suddenly, she pinched her thigh hard and cried, "Hiss—"
It was painful. It was not a dream.
So, was she really married?
"No, that's not it. This... That's fake, isn't it?"
Sophia still couldn't believe how they could register their marriage without her identity card and her showing up in person?
But Roland said with confidence, "If you don't believe me, you can go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to check it out."
Just after saying that, he got up and grabbed the bath towel next to him before wrapping her in it. "Since you are awake, go get changed quickly. As newly-weds, I will take you out for a meal to celebrate."
......
It was 7:30 pm when they got ready and left the villa.
It was only when Sophia got into the car that she realized that this was the most expensive villa area in Nilween City. She heard that a house was worth at least 30 million dollars.
She couldn't help but be stunned. Gulping down her saliva, she couldn't help but secretly look at Roland next to her again.
He was handsome and had a strong presence. He was young and rich, and sexually functional. At first glance, she could tell that he was one of the most eligible bachelors in town.
Sophia couldn't figure it out why he found her.
Sophia felt that she was not pretty. Her beauty was above average but she didn't have any special talent. What did he see in her?
The more she thought about it, the more she was confused.
Soon, they arrived at an open-air western restaurant. Sofia was stunned by the gorgeous decoration and first-class service of the restaurant. When she saw the sky-high-priced menu, she let out a gasp.
The steak cost 30,000 dollars and a bottle of red wine cost more than 100,000 dollars.
That was downright gold they're eating, rather than food!
