Chapter 611 Finally Saved

How much would he get from selling so many things?
The set of jewelry alone was worth tens of millions of dollars, and not to mention that there were so many calligraphy paintings here. There might be several billion here!
He really made a fortune, really made a fortune!
As he realized the enormous surprises and wealth, Forbos was so excited that his face turned red.
Evelyn, on the other hand, was tied up in the bedroom, and she could not move her hands and feet. Only the sound of Forbos scavenging over the boxes and cabinets could be heard in another room.
There was a hanging clock on the wall, ticking away. She looked up feebly, and it had been four minutes since she entered the house.
Although there were a lot of things, they were all placed neatly, so it was not difficult to pack them up.
A few minutes was enough!
Therefore, he might not be able to make it in time.
Even when she had put in so much effort and think of every possible way, she couldn't escape today's misfortune.
When she thought of this, Evelyn could not help but give a wry smile.
In fact, she was not so afraid at all. She just felt sorry.
In the past, she always liked to be overcautious. But at that moment, she seemed to realize that when she approaching the end of her life, the fear and hesitation before seemed insignificant.
Slowly, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
However, at that moment, she heard the sound of an engine.
Stunned for a moment, she opened her eyes in disbelief. Looking through the floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom on the second floor, she saw a familiar car coming.
Instantly, Evelyn became excited.
But she didn't dare to make a sound, and she couldn't either because her mouth was gagged.
In the end, she could only stare at the light of the car, watching it come closer to her, and finally, it stopped steadily downstairs.
At that moment, Evelyn held her breath.
Because she was close to the road, she could hear the sound faintly. But she was not sure if Forbos had noticed the arrival of the car at this time.
Therefore, she could only hold her breath and wait, praying that Forbos would not discover it so soon.
In reality, Forbos did not notice that someone had arrived at this time.
It was the first time for him to see so much money, so he was overjoyed, and money was the only thing he could see. How could he care so much about anything else?
Hence, he was not aware of it at all.
Downstairs, Marty had quietly tip-toed into the villa with Aria.
Because he came in a hurry, the others were still on their way. He was worried about the safety of Evelyn, so he came here with Aria first.
Therefore, he didn't have time to call for people to surround the villa. After all, he was afraid that if they made too much noise, he would alert the enemy, which would put Evelyn in danger.
At that moment, relying on his familiarity with the villa, Marty went to the second floor with Aria.
From a distance, he could see that the light in the cloakroom and the bedroom were lit up.
Then, he made a gesture to Aria to go to the cloakroom, and he went to the bedroom himself.
Meanwhile, Evelyn was tied to the end of the bed with her back to the door. She had been staring out of the window, wondering if they had come in.
All of a sudden, she sensed someone's footsteps creeping from behind.
Although the man had lowered the noise, Evelyn, who had been tensed up was extremely alert, so obviously, she noticed it.
Instantly, she felt her heart tighten and was about to turn around subconsciously.
All of a sudden, as if something flashed before her eyes, she saw a very familiar face.
She wanted to speak.
But, because her mouth was stuffed with rags, she couldn't say a word and could only make a vague hum.
Looking at Marty who suddenly appeared in front before her eyes, she was so happy that she was about to cry.
With a gloomy expression, Marty first looked her up and down to make sure that there was no injury, and then he removed the rags from her mouth.
"Evelyn, how are you holding up? Are you alright?"
Finally, Evelyn's mouth was eased, so she couldn't help but to take a few deep breaths before lowering her voice and said, "I'm fine. Forbos is packing up in the storage room over there."
With a nod, Marty bent down to untie the rope on her and said, "I know. Aria is there. I'll take you out first."
Hearing that, Evelyn agreed. After he untied the rope, he helped her to stand up.
However, as she was about to take a step forward, she suddenly stumbled and fell forward.
Immediately, Marty held her up and thought that she was injured. With a change of expression, he quickly bent down to check.
"What's wrong? Is your leg hurt?"
Shaking her head, Evelyn said embarrassingly, "I've been tied up for too long, so my legs are numb."
Upon hearing that, Marty let out a sigh of relief.
Hence, he bent over, picking up Evelyn and walked outside.
Having been tensed up for too long, Evelyn felt that she was finally safe. As if the last bit of her energy was exhausted, her whole body was completely relaxed, and could not move.
As she lay in Marty's arms softly, putting her arms around his neck, and leaning her head on his shoulder, she could finally relax her whole body.
In the meantime, Marty carried her in his arms all the way out of the villa. He opened the door and put her in the car.
In that instant, there were a few cars approaching them.
The door opened and a group of strong and young bodyguards in black stepped out of the car.
Just then, Marty said to Evelyn, "Wait in the car for a while. I'll be right there."
As Evelyn thought he was going to leave, she grabbed his arm subconsciously and asked, "Where are you going?"
Looking at her fingers and his eyes were warm. He said, "Don't be afraid. I won't leave. I'll come over after I'm done with a few words with them."
It was only then that Evelyn let go of her hand at ease.
Then, Marty walked over and said something to the bodyguards.
"Yes," they answered in unison.
Then, they rushed toward the house immediately.
After giving the order, Marty returned to the car and sat with Evelyn.
A moment later, Aria came out holding Forbos.
At that moment, Forbos had not even realized what was going on. While being escorted by a group of people, he was still resisting and cursing.
"What are you doing? Let me tell you, don't mess around! This is my home. I only came back to my house to take my things. What does it have to do with you? Let me go, or I'll call the police!"
While he was casually cursing, he heard a voice that sounded indifferent.
"Call the police? Alright, why don't you call the police for me?"
Upon hearing the voice, Forbos was stunned. As soon as he looked up, he saw the two people sitting in the car.
Immediately, his expression changed dramatically as he blurted out in disbelief.
"Why are you here? Aren't you abroad? You..."
Suddenly, he understood something and looked at Evelyn in shock.
Being both surprised and angry, he shouted. "How dare you lie to me!"
Starring at him coldly, Evelyn said to Marty, "He has gone mad! Don't let him go."
