Buckley smiled and added, "That's unfortunate. I wanted to invite her and Sophia, but since they aren't here, we'll do it another time."
As he said this, he caught a glimpse of Charlotte out of the corner of his eye.
When he saw no expression of displeasure on Charlotte's face, he silently let out a sigh of relief.
"In addition to the family reunion," he continued, "Charlotte and I have something to announce to you both."
Marty and Roland were stunned when they heard that. They all put their forks down at the same time.
"What's up?"
Marty asked.
Buckley grinned as he extended his hand to hold Charlotte's hand and said, "We've decided to travel around the world when I am fully recovered. So, in the future, you guys will be responsible for both the family and the company's affairs. This is your responsibility, and you must accept it. Just call me or Grandpa if you don't understand anything! Our family's future is in your hands.
Roland and Marty were both taken aback.
They had no idea what Buckley was about to announce would be about this.
Upon hearing that, Roland frowned slightly. On the other hand, Marty sprang up and exclaimed when he regained his senses, "Wait a minute! You both are going to travel around the world? Why so sudden?"
Immediately, Charlotte rolled her eyes at him.
"What exactly do you mean by 'sudden'? We've been wanting to do so for a long time. It's just that we can't get rid of you brats."

Charlotte had always been impulsive, and she would do whatever she wanted.
She began planning the itinerary as soon as the trip was decided.
After all, they needed to plan ahead of time because they were traveling around the world. So, they couldn't leave in a hurry.
Therefore, she planned it while Buckley was still recovering.
Later, Buckley's injury almost fully recovered by the time Charlotte was done planning everything.

After bidding farewell to the family and friends, Buckley and Charlotte boarded a plane that day.
On that day, Marty and Roland went to send them off at the airport. As they were leaving, Marty sighed with emotion,
"Roland, when will we be able to be as carefree as Mom and Dad? How romantic!"
Roland turned his head to gaze at him, and a disgusted expression was shown on his face.

Looking at Roland's back, Marty snorted with disdain and waved his fist in the air again.
After a while, he said unconvincingly, "Who wants to travel with you? I'm talking about my wife!"
In the evening, Marty returned home and told Evelyn about the situation.
Evelyn had just finished filming the new movie. Hence, she had another three-day break.
When she heard they had boarded the plane safely, she nodded and added, "It sounds beautiful, but there must be many obstacles along the way. Remember to remind them to stay safe."
