Chapter 187 She Is Vicious And Malicious

Clarissa shook her head.
"It's useless. They are determined to slander me, and they just want me to hide. If they find me, I can't improve my innocence no matter what."
"Then what should we do?"
Clarissa frowned and did not speak. She ran to the window quickly and glanced down.
"Don't worry about me. Just open the door. If someone asks you, you must say that you haven't seen me."
"Oh. What about you..."
Clarissa ignored him and  rolled up her sleeves. When she looked back, she saw the two cups on the table and the meal last night. Then she came back and swept all the food and cups into a bag.
At this time, the door had been knocked.
The voices outside were very anxious. Obviously, they were sure that Clarissa was inside.
"Director Leslie, open the door! I brought the doctor to see you! Open the door quickly!"
"Director Leslie, are you okay?"
"Director Leslie, do you need any help?"
"Forget it. There is no sound inside. Waiter, just open the door!"
Alvin's expression changed when he heard this, and he rushed towards the door in a hurry.
Almost at the same time, he felt a strong wind swept behind him. When he looked back again, Clarissa was no longer standing by the window.
Several staff members came in.
The deputy director Leon Clarke was at the forefront, and he was followed by a few people and the hotel attendant holding the room card.
Everyone looked anxious. When they saw Alvin standing in the room safe and sound, they were dumbfounded.
"Alvin? Are you okay?"
Alvin frowned, "What could happen to me?"
"No, well..."
Leon was also a little stunned. He took out his cell phone and said, "Didn't you send me a message and tell me that you are not feeling well? That's why I took them here hastily."
Alvin took a look at the phone, and there was indeed a message on it which was sent by him.
He frowned harder. Then he turned around and looked around the room, and finally found his phone on the bed.
He turned it on and checked it carefully.
To his surprise, there was really a message that was sent ten minutes ago.
It was a message sent to Leon by him.
What... was going on?
Leon was a little worried when he saw Alvin holding a cell phone and standing there in a daze.
"Alvin, are you really all right? You sent me the message ten minutes ago, and you shouldn't forget it so quickly."
Alvin turned to look at him.
The other crew members behind Leon also looked surprised.
His face darkened. Then he thought for a while and said, "Sorry, maybe this is a misunderstanding. Maybe I put my phone on the bed and accidentally pressed it, so I sent the wrong message. I'm so sorry to let you come here by mistake."
Upon seeing this, Leon felt more and more strange.
But Alvin had said so, so he couldn't say anything else.
He could only say with concern, "It's good that you are fine. If you don't feel well, you must tell us. You are the backbone of our crew. If there is something wrong with you, our crew will get into trouble."
Alvin nodded.
One of the people who followed Leon looked at every corner of the room secretly.
Alvin noticed him and asked, "What are you looking at?"
The man came to sense and quickly said, "Nothing. I just think that this matter is a bit weird, Director Leslie, are you sure you are all right?"
Alvin said blandly, "I'm okay, You can go back!"
Leon nodded, and then took them away.
After personally seeing off a group of staff who cared about him, Alvin turned around, closed the door and then his face darkened completely.
He walked quickly to the window and looked out.
He saw nothing outside the window. There was even no blade of grass, let alone Clarissa.
Alvin felt panicked and was about to call Clarissa, but the doorbell rang at this time.
He didn't know who ran over again at this time, and he responded impatiently before going to open the door.
Unexpectedly, when he opened the door, he saw Clarissa standing outside.
Alvin was shocked.
"Clarissa? Are you okay?"
Clarissa shook her head, glanced around and then said in a deep voice, "Let's go in and talk."
Alvin quickly let her in.
After the door was closed, Clarissa was looking for something in the room.
Alvin came over and asked, "How did you get outside? I didn't see you under the window sill just now, and I was so worried. I thought you fell off the building!"
Clarissa checked the entire room. She didn't turn around until she made sure that there was nothing suspicious.
She looked at Alvin and said with a smile, "Don't worry. I'm safe now, aren't I?"
Alvin was frightened and asked with lingering fear, "Then how did you get out?"
"I just jumped onto the window sill of the room below. I was lucky and the guest happened to have checked out. The waiter would come to clean the room and the door was left open, so I came out openly."
She said calmly, but Alvin opened his eyes wide in surprise.
He leaned over the window again, looked down and said uncertainly, "You mean that you jumped from here to the window sill below?"
Clarissa nodded.
Alvin swallowed, and looked at her with a strange expression in his eyes.
"It's at least three meters tall, you... Fine! I didn't except that you're so deft and nimble!"
Clarissa smiled and didn't say anything.
She got down to the business, "Tell me your ideas about this matter!"
Hearing this, Alvin's face suddenly turned cold.
"It's obvious that someone wants to frame us!"
Clarissa nodded.
"At first, they led me to your room and then drugged us into a coma. Then they set up a timing text message on your phone to inform other members of the crew to come here early in the morning."
"If we didn't wake up early, they would see us here and we would be found to be together. No matter how we explain, we can't improve our innocence."
"The most subtle thing is that the person did not show up in person during the whole process. She even asked Leon and others to come here. In this way, even if the conspiracy was exposed, she would not be involved. "
Alvin's face changed upon hearing this.
"The person who schemed this is so vicious and malicious!"
He looked at Clarissa and frowned.
"Do you think how they drugged us?"
"I suspect that the problem lies in the food and drinks delivered last night, so I took those things with me when I left just now. Once I check it out, we will know if there is any problem with them."
Alvin agreed with her very much. In fact, if Clarissa hadn't reacted quickly, he might not have thought of this matter.
He thought of the few people who rushed in just now. If anyone deliberately took these things away or destroyed them, the only evidence would be ruined.
In this way, he and Clarissa would be confirmed to be in an ambiguous relationship.
