Chapter 235 He Was Always By Her Side

There was a sharp pain in her palm. The buckle cut through the skin and stuck in her flesh and blood.
Clarissa's face was a little pale, but she gritted her teeth and forced herself to ignore the pain.
After swinging for more than twenty times, her toes finally touched the rock on the cliff. She quickly made use of the opportunity to cling to the cliff and stand firmly.
This was an extremely difficult movement that ordinary people couldn't do.
Fortunately, she used to practice fighting for a long time aboard. Although she was somewhat exhausted, she was still skilled and could barely do it.
After standing firmly, she observed the topography and found that although the cliff was steep, there were many uneven rocks and weeds on it. It should not be difficult for her to climb up.
The only problem she had was that she didn't know what on the cliff was.
She didn't want to climb up with difficulty but was caught by Lara's people.
Wasn't that so unlucky?
Thinking like this, she looked at her bleeding palm. The loss of blood made her body a little cold, and her wrists became numb due to pain.
Fortunately, maybe it was because she was in danger, she was extraordinarily conscious, and she didn't feel fizzy due to the loss of blood.
She gritted her teeth,  tore a piece of cloth and barely bandaged her hands.
But the wound was too deep and her palm kept bleeding. At this time, she begun to feel dizzy and nauseous.
Knowing that this was a sign of excessive loss of blood, she quickly took a deep breath and bit the tip of her tongue to keep herself awake.
Then, she began to climb up hard.
Whether Lara's people were above or not, she had to have a try.
If she was lucky, she would survive. If she was caught, she could only blame herself for bad luck.
Thinking like this, she didn't hesitate anymore and kept climbing up.
Her palm was badly injured, and it was originally impossible for her to climb such a steep cliff.
But there was no other way. If she didn't climb up, she could only stand here and wait for death.
Fortunately, there were only a dozen meters high.
If she held on, she would definitely be able to climb up.
Clarissa tried her best to climb. Her forehead was soon oozing sweat. It was not because she was hot but painful.
Her palm hurt so much!
But no matter how painful she was, she did not dare to stop.
Because she knew that as long as she stopped, she might not have the courage to climb anymore.
At this time, she needed to stay calm and rational.
However, her head was getting dizzier and dizzier.
Blood was beginning to seep through the bandages because she was climbing with strength.
It didn't take long before the red blood dyed the cloth scarlet and ran down her arm.
For an instant, Clarissa couldn't see anything clearly, as if she would faint the next second.
But she bit her tongue hard, forcing herself to sober up.
Hold on!
It was near and she would go up soon!
She could definitely survive!
She cheered herself up in heart. At this moment, a voice suddenly came from above.
"Mr. Jordan! There are two rows of tire marks here, which seem to be left not long ago."
"Look around here!"
"Okay!"
Clarissa's eyes were full of the fire of hope, and she looked up in pleasant surprise.
It was Anderson! Was he here?
She remembered his voice very clearly, so she would never hear it wrong.
"Anderson! I am here!"
She shouted loudly.
Above the cliff.
Anderson was looking around along with tire marks, and he suddenly heard Clarissa's voice.
His back froze suddenly. The sea breeze was strong, and he couldn't hear her clearly, but he was dimly aware of her voice.
"Anderson, I'm under the cliff! Come and save me!"
Anderson was in a state of euphoria, and he rushed to the edge of the cliff.
When he saw Clarissa who was leaning against the cliff, he opened his eyes wide worriedly.
"Clarissa!"
Clarissa tried her best to look up at him. They were about seven or eight meters away, and it was not a long distance. However, they could only see each other's indistinct shapes because of the mist in the air.
Her eye were suddenly brimming with tears and she wanted to cry.
She climbed here with strong willpower by herself, and she had never thought about giving in. But for some reason, the moment she saw him, the wall built in her heart seemed to collapse instantly, and her strong willpower came near to a breakdown.
As if feeling that Clarissa was crying, Anderson's tone was somewhat anxious.
"Clarissa, don't be afraid. I will come down immediately."
Seeing this, a policeman who came with him quickly said, "Mr. Jordan, it's too dangerous. Let us do this."
"Get out of my way!"
Listening to Anderson's voice above, Clarissa melted into tears and couldn't say a word.
She could only nod desperately.
Only then did Anderson discover that a rope was buried in the grass on the edge of the cliff, and there was no big trees nearby. The other end of the rope was nailed into the soil with iron nails which were used to set up tents in the wild.
Clarissa was petite and thin, and she was naturally light, so the rope could barely hold her weight. But if he went on, the nail might not be able to support the both of them.
He turned and shouted, "Come here!"
Some people had noticed the noise and were running over here.
Anderson handed the rope to them and said in a deep voice, "Hold it! When I ask you to pull it up, pull it!"
"Okay!"
The people he brought were all bodyguards trained by the Jordan Family since childhood, and they all had amazing strength.
Anderson climbed down the rope.
His speed was very fast. On the steep cliff, he was like a deft monkey, and it didn't take long before he came to her.
When he saw Clarissa's awkward look clearly, especially her arms that were still bleeding, his heart ached severely as if it was being grabbed by a giant hand and he almost couldn't breathe.
Clarissa had lost all her strength and barely hanged on the cliff with the last bit of willpower. Seeing him, she was close to an emotional breakdown.
She only called his name, and then her legs became feeble, and she was about to fall down.
Fortunately, Anderson had reached out to pull her waist and brought her into his arms.
His face was straight and she couldn't tell if he was angry or happy from his expression. However, leaning on his firm and warm arms, Clarissa was extremely at ease.
"Can you hold on for another minute?" He asked in a deep voice.
Clarissa nodded.
Anderson quickly tied the rope and put it around her waist, then he held her with one hand and shouted, "Pull!"
The rope began to move. He let her hang on him and quickly climbed up the cliff.
Clarissa didn't except that he could climb so quickly with only one hand and two feet, and she was even in his arms.
She hugged his neck tightly and wrapped her two legs around his strong waist obediently, like an octopus that lost its ability to survive.
Anderson's stern chin was right in front of her, and she could smell the pleasant smell on his body.
