Chapter 466 Strong And Brave

Following that was an even hotter kiss. They were being peppered on her collarbones and her chest.
Clarissa was still in a daze. She vaguely felt that Anderson was acting a little strange today, but she didn't have much time to think about it.
After god-knows-how-long, the love affair finally came to an end.
Lying in Anderson's embrace, Clarissa was so tired that she couldn't even lift a finger. There was also a thin layer of sweat covering all over her body.
At this moment, lying in his strong arms, she slightly raised her eyes and gave him a look. She said discontentedly, "You are not allowed to be in heat during the day in the future."
Anderson let out a soft laugh. His slightly calloused fingers caressed her lips as he gently pressed them against hers. His voice was low and hoarse.
"Are you destroying the bridge right after you crossed the river? I'm not the only one who was enjoying it just now."
His low, magnetic voice made Clarissa's face turn red.
Clarissa lowered her eyes and didn't dare to look at his eyes again. She hesitated and said, "No, it's you..."
Before she could finish her sentence, his burning hand intertwined with her hand and said in a dangerous tone, "You mean... you didn't enjoy it just now? Do you want me to try again? Don't worry, I'm very skillful. I can still make you feel comfortable without really doing it."
Clarissa was startled by his words. She quickly pushed Anderson away and shrank back a little.
At the same time, she reached out her hand and yanked his enormous palm back that was going to touch her.
She grumbled in a low voice, "Nonsense! You were probably a poodle in your past life. "
Anderson raised his eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
Clarissa blinked her eyes, a hint of cunning flashing in her eyes.
"It turns out that he doesn't know what a poodle means." Clarissa thought to herself.
She rolled her eyes and said with a smile, "Nothing special. I just praise you for being strong and brave."
Her words seemed to please Anderson. The corners of his mouth curled up into a smile. In the next second, he turned over and pinned her under again.
His dark and bright eyes were staring at her. In a hoarse voice, he said, "I know this very well. You don't need to praise me."
Clarissa obviously felt it. She widened her eyes and looked at Anderson in disbelief.
"You... You..."
"Me? Hm?"
Clarissa's face suddenly turned red, and she pushed him away desperately. "Get off me! What do you want to do?"
Anderson wrapped his arms around her waist tightly. His voice was soft and filled with joy.
"I can prove to you how strong and brave I am."
Clarissa quickly shook her head. "No. No way. You've already proved it. You don't need to do it again."
Anderson raised his tone at his last syllable. "Oh? Is that so? Why do I feel like you need me to prove it again?"
Just when they were about to get into another steamy episode.
However, at this moment, a maid knocked on the door. "Young Master Anderson, Miss Cole has arrived."
Clarissa was stunned for a while and was at a loss of what to do.
"Thank you, Miss Cole? Who's that?"
The smile on his face subsided as Anderson said in a low voice, "A relative of my mother's, a distant cousin."
Clarissa thought for a while and came to a realization.
When she was at the Jordan Family's old mansion, she seemed to have heard of such a person. What was her name? Charmaine Cole?
"That's right, that's her name." Clarissa thought.
Because Anderson's mother died at a young age, Anderson seldom visited the Cole family. He was only close to Anthony.
Their first encounter was at Old Madam Jordan's birthday party, when Charmaine was sent by the Cole family to celebrate her birthday.
Later, because she was going to study in Flaucford, Old Madam Jordan had found a place for her to stay here.
After all, Charmaine was a relative, it was better for her a place to live in Flaucford than to live in a dormitory in school.
"But... What's she doing here instead of studying at school?"
Anyhow, since she was already here, it was only right for them to go and meet her.
So she nudged Anderson's arm and said, "Since she is here, go down quickly."
Anderson's expression was indifferent. He did not seem to be very welcoming.
But in the end, he still turned over and got up from the bed. He said while changing his clothes, "Ask Pattie to entertain her, and tell her that we will come down in a bit."
"Yes."
Downstairs, Charmaine sat in the living room and looked at Pattie who was busy with a smile.
She was not considered a beautiful woman compared with Clarissa.
But these days, there were many men who preferred a woman like her whose beauty was not too overbearing.
Their explanation was that beauty lied with one's temperament.
Charmaine sat there, with a long straight raven hair draped over her shoulders. She wore a plain dress and a thin knitted jacket on the outside, looking gentle and elegant.
She sat there and observed for a long time, before she said with a warm smile. "Pattie, you don't have to trouble yourself. Come and sit for a while!"
Pattie sighed, but she didn't stop what she was doing. She was busy ordering someone to make Charmaine snacks and tea.
Charmaine did not insist anymore. She asked casually, "Pattie, we haven't seen each other for six years, right? You still look so young. You really haven't changed at all."
Pattie put a cup of tea in front of her and said with a smile, "Miss Cole, you are really such a sweet-talker. I am almost 50 years old this year, and I was more than 40 years old six years ago. How can I still be young?"
Charmaine shook her head with a gentle smile at the corner of her mouth.
"In my heart, you will always be young, always the most beautiful and capable assistant of my aunt."
When it came to this, there was a flash of gloom in Pattie's eyes, and her eyes were a little dazed.
After a moment, she shook her head with a smile. "It's all in the past. I'm just an ordinary old lady now. I'm grateful that I still have the strength to help Young Master Anderson to run some errands."
As they spoke, they saw Anderson slowly coming down the stairs.
Pattie stepped aside and called out, "Young Master Anderson."
Charmaine's eyes lit up and she cried out in surprise, "Anderson!"
Anderson's expression was indifferent. He had a vague impression of this distant cousin of his.
But for the sake of her mother, he had to entertain her so that Charmaine would not feel that he was unwelcoming.
So he just nodded and asked, "Why did you come today?"
Charmaine's eyes fell on him, only to find that his short hair was still dripping with water. It was obvious that he had just taken a shower, and there was a red mark at the nape of his neck, as if it had been scratched by nails or something.
An indiscernible trace of jealousy flashed across her eyes, but soon disappeared.
