Chapter 954 Pregnant Again
Anderson's eyes darkened slightly as he nodded. "Alright."
The two of them walked all the way to the end of the corridor. On this side, the screams in the room could not be heard anymore. As she looked out of the window, she asked softly, "What exactly is Sean's background?"
Anderson casually played with her soft fingers. "He is from the Icarus Association."
When Clarissa heard that, she was stunned.
"The Icarus Association? Didn't they..."

Looking at herm Anderson said faintly, "Although the Icarus Association had fallen, some smaller groups were still around. My guess is that Sean could be one of their core figures. They had probably heard that the Marsh family wanted to collect this treasure, so they wanted to strike a deal with them."
Clarissa nodded. As she recalled the incident last night, she was still a little frightened.
"Fortunately, we got the item earlier than him. Otherwise, if the item fell into his hands, Jara wouldn't get six of them, and Emmeline would be in danger."
Hearing that, Anderson nodded in agreement.

The two of them stood there for a while until they heard a 'bang' from the corridor, as they saw Jara and Emmeline coming out of the room.
Then they walked up hand in hand.
"How was it?"
With a cold expression, Jara said in a low voice, "Someone from the Icarus Association."
Upon hearing that, Anderson winked at Clarissa.
Clarissa sighed. "As expected."
Jara to be taken aback by her response, but he quickly came to his senses and glanced toward Anderson.
"What are you going to do with him?" Anderson asked.
Jara replied coldly, "Beat him up and let him go."
He had promised Mr. Gill that he would keep his word to not kill him.
With a nod, Anderson then raised his wrist to look at the time.
"It's getting late. We have booked a ticket back to Flaucford. What about you guys? Are you going back to Flaucford with us or to Blink City?"
Jara glanced at him and replied without hesitation, "Blink City."
"Okay, be careful on your way. Call me if you need anything."
The two of them nodded, and the four of them bid each other farewell before leaving separately.
By the time they returned to Flaucford, it was already nighttime.
Since Clarissa's encounter with blood this afternoon, she hadn't been feeling very well for the rest of the day. When she got home, she was feeling muzzy.
Anderson was afraid that she would catch a cold after running around last night, so he called the family doctor over to take a look at her.
On the bed, the doctor was examining Clarissa, while she smiled and protested to Anderson. "I'm just a little tired. You look so nervous and even called the doctor over as if I have a severe illness."
Anderson stood by her side, guarding her as he worked on his computer. Without lifting his head, he replied, "Don't underestimate minor illnesses. Sometimes, a cold can lead to many side effects. It's best to be careful."
Since he said so, Clarissa couldn't argue with him anymore.
Seeing that the doctor had an examination for a long time and it was not over yet, she could not help but ask curiously, "Doctor, why is the examination not over yet? Am I alright?"
The doctor knitted her brows and did not reply. Subsequently, she turned around and took out a pregnancy test stick from her case and handed it over.
"Mrs. Jordan, may I trouble you to go to the bathroom to check?"
Stunned, Clarissa couldn't believe it.
"What..." Turning her head, she looked at Anderson. At the same time, Anderson had also seen it and was also a little surprised.
Then, Clarissa smiled awkwardly. "That can't be true. W-We did have safety measures."
The doctor was silent for two seconds and explained. "All forms of contraception measures are not 100% effective, so I suggest that you take the test first. If the result turns out to be positive, I will do a full examination for you."
Clarissa felt helpless, in fact, she was a little worried, but she took it over and got up to check it.
Unexpectedly, Anderson suddenly stood up and walked over with a nervous expression on his face. "I'll go with you."
