Chapter 454 Don't Bully Her

After hanging up the phone, Clarissa gave Old Master Levine a call.
Of course Old Master Levine was extremely worried about her. When he received her call and learned that she was safe and sound, he was finally relieved a little.
Clarissa then asked about his health.
Old Master Levine was able to look on the bright side of things now. After all, now that he had no more regrets in life, he could finally skip through life without a care in the world.
Besides, Clarissa had married into the Jordan Family, and Old Master Levine was very satisfied with Anderson. Therefore, although he was not in good health, he was in a much more relaxed mood than before.
Listening to his cheerful laughter on the phone, Clarissa couldn't help but smile too.
"Grandpa, take good care of yourself. I'll go visit you once I'm back in Ascijan."
"Well, okay, you too. Take good care of yourself. If Anderson dares to bully you, you can tell me. I'll fix him."
Clarissa couldn't help but laugh. She nodded. "Alright, I'll bear it in mind."
As soon as she hung up the phone, she turned around and saw Anderson walking in with David.
Perhaps Anderson had heard her laughter, so he asked, "What makes you so happy?"
Clarissa pursed her lips and said, "Grandpa called and said that if you dare to bully me, he will fix you good."
Anderson was speechless.
David seized the rare opportunity and gushed, "Mr. Jordan could never have the heart to bully you. He couldn't wait to give his everything to you, let alone bully you."
Anderson said in a deep voice, "David."
David suddenly became serious and quickly shut up. He didn't dare to make fun of Clarissa anymore.
Seeing this, Clarissa chuckled. "How did your medical examination go? Is there any other problem?"
Anderson said faintly, "It's okay. I'm much better now."
He happened to be wounded at the vital part of his chest to the extent that his internal organs were injured too. So now, in addition to changing the bandage every day, the doctor would have to check on his internal wounds regularly.
Hearing this, Clarissa nodded her head. Seeing that it was getting late, she let David arrange for lunch.
After lunch, they took a nap. When they woke up, it was already three o'clock in the afternoon.
Clarissa suddenly remembered what she had told Mick before, and she was wondering how things were going there.
Speaking of the devil, Clarissa received a call from Mick.
"Blade Scar would visit Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon tomorrow afternoon. If you want to find him, you can go there at that time."
After replying to him and hanging up the phone, she told Anderson about the news.
Anderson pondered for a moment before saying, "I'll go with you tomorrow."
Clarissa frowned.
"But your injury..."
"It doesn't matter. After all, we are going to negotiate, not to fight."
Clarissa thought about it and agreed with him.
Now that Anderson had regained his mobility, since he could attend the Ethanbez Family's birthday party, it shouldn't be a problem for him to make a trip Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
After all, it was just like he said, they were going to have a peaceful talk, not to fight.
Thus, this matter was decided just like that.
In the afternoon, Clarissa had nothing to do, so she and Anderson went downstairs for a walk.
Although Anderson's injury was much better now, it wasn't a minor injury after all. Although the doctor suggested that he should do some light exercise, he couldn't engage in any vigorous workout.
Therefore, Anderson sat in a wheelchair and went out, with David behind him to push him.
Nora, of course, followed along as well. The four of them descended the stairs and took a stroll at the lawn below.
Clarissa felt bored and recalled that when she was in F Country last time, the Lost Vanguard's racing headquarters was not far away from here. She felt the sudden urge to go there.
Clarissa suggested, "Anderson, why don't we go out for a walk?"
Anderson raised his eyebrows and looked at her with a smile. "Where do you want to go?"
"There's a place nearby that I'm very familiar with. Let's take a look there."
Anderson could see the expectation in her eyes. Besides, due to his injuries, Clarissa must be bored staying in the hospital to keep him company.
Thus, Anderson nodded and agreed with her.
Clarissa was very happy to see this, so she immediately asked Nora and David to tag along.
Not far from the hospital was an old car factory.
The factory was very large with a wide open space behind it. There was a mountain that had been developed by others nearby. It was very remote and there were few people nearby.
Clarissa still remembered that when she was with the Speed Racing Team in the past, this place used to be crowded. She didn't expect that there would be such a big change in just a few years' time.
Since the internal strife in the Lost Vanguard, the Speed Racing Team had gradually disbanded. Now that there was nobody here, the place seemed to be empty.
Clarissa showed Anderson around. As she looked at the race track at the mountain, she narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Anderson, guess what this place is."
Anderson looked at the metal-grey buildings in front of him and the criss-crossed racing track behind him. He said indifferently, "The Lost Vanguard's Speed Racing Division."
Clarissa snapped her fingers.
"You're right."
Since Anderson already knew about her past identity and Nora was now her confidante, there was no need for her to hide anything.
Meanwhile, David was Anderson's most competent assistant, so he had some understanding towards her background as well.
So no one was surprised to hear her words.
Clarissa took them inside and entered the gate. There was a large field inside with rows of iron-grey houses in front of it.
The cold building stood on the flat ground, giving people a sense of oppression for no reason.
Clarissa sighed and said, "At that time, I had just arrived in F Country. I was alone and had no relatives. I also happened to meet with a major accident and lost some of my memories.
If it weren't for the fact that the Lost Vanguard took me in, I'm afraid that I would have no way out at that time. Naturally, I wouldn't have become who I am today."
At the thought of this, she seemed a little absent-minded.
Anderson looked at her deeply and held her hand quietly.
"Now you have me."
Clarissa came to her senses.
She looked at him with her head tilted. The afternoon sun was shading his body faintly, giving her a feeling of peace and warmth for no reason.
She smiled and nodded heavily.
"Well, I'm grateful that you're here with me."
They continued to walk further down together. Although Nora and David had roughly understood what Clarissa had been through, they were new to this place, so they were a little curious.
Although the members of the Lost Vanguard had moved away, it had been rebuilt before, so there were still many things that hadn't been moved away.
Clarissa introduced them one by one, including the guest area, lounge area, training area, entertainment area and so on...
The Lost Vanguard was a large-scale organization, and the Speed Racing Division was just one of the many divisions. They did not participate in the rest of the divisions.
It was also because of this that when the Lost Vanguard started to fall apart, the Speed Racing Division could easily detach from it and therefore easily escape from the control of the headquarters.
Looking at the traces left behind from their previous training, David sighed and said, "I've long heard that although Young Master Jara of the Holland family is an illegitimate child, he is also one of the best among the best. He has been doing well abroad, but I never thought that he would do such a thing. Indeed, you can't judge a book by its cover."
Clarissa smiled.
"Why not? His zeal and savviness are written all over his face. You can totally tell that from his appearance."
