Chapter 953 Another Identity

"Great-grandpa!"
As soon as Lily entered the door, she threw herself into her great-grandfather's arm.
Seeing that, Mr.Gill stood up shakily and caught her. He couldn't help but burst into tears.
"My dear granddaughter, you are finally back!"
Lily buried her head in his chest and both of them burst into tears of joy.
After they were done crying, Mr.Gill held her face and looked at her as if she was a precious treasure. "Let me have a good look at you. Are you hurt?"
Hearing that, Lily shook her head. "I'm fine. Great-grandpa, they saved me."
As she spoke, she turned around and pointed at Jara and Anderson.
Mr.Gill smiled with relief and said, "I know. They are my friends, and I asked them to save you."
When she heard that, Lily looked at them gratefully.
At this moment, Sean, who had been silent, shouted angrily. "Gill! You were the reason my grandparents died miserably, and you also killed my father. I swear I will never forgive you! What do you mean by tying me up like this? Let me go if you have the nerve. Come on! Let's fight! Just like you and your brother back then, let's fight! Come on!"
As he shouted, he looked as if he had gone mad and was about to charge forward. Thankfully, he was firmly held by Jara.
Jara kicked him in the leg, making him kneel on the ground.
It was only then that Mr.Gill turned to look at him, but his gaze were cold and calm.
"Sean, you kept saying that you want revenge, but let's not talk about what you're doing right now. Let's talk about your father, what does his death has anything to do with me?"
When Sean heard that, he sneered. "You are still quibbling? You dare say that you didn't secretly send someone to kill him?"
However, Mr. Gill replied sarcastically, "I, John Gill, have always done things in an open and straightforward manner. I never deny that I have killed someone, but if I didn't kill them, I won't allow anyone to put blame on me."
"You are talking nonsense!"
Sean's eyes were wide open, but Mr. Gill couldn't care less about him.
Thus, he turned to look at Clarissa.
"Since all of you have rescued Lily, I will definitely fulfill the promise I made to you."
As he spoke, he took out the Jade of Heaven from his pocket and handed it to her.
"Here, this is what you want. Keep it."
Upon seeing the jade pendant, Clarissa's face lit up with joy. She took it over in a hurry and replied sincerely, "Thank you, Mr. Gill."
Mr. Gill smiled and didn't say anything.
Suddenly, Sean exclaimed in excitement.
"It's the Jade of Heaven, it's the Jade of Heaven!"
His eyes widened as he mumbled to himself. Then, he stared at the jade pendant in Clarissa's hands as if he had gone mad.
"It's really the Jade of Heaven. That's mine! Give it to me, give it to me!"
As he said that, he was about to charge forward at Clarissa again.
Of course, Jara would never allow him to do as he wished.
With another kick and another punch, he fell to the ground and couldn't get up again.
In a low voice, Jara said, "Mr. Gill, I have another request."
Raising his hand, Mr. Gill said, "Go ahead."
Jara turned to look at Sean, who was lying on the ground with a pale face, he asked with a cold gaze, "I think this person is a member of an enemy I am dealing with, so I want to bring him back for a proper interrogation. I hope that you will agree."
Hearing this, Mr. Gill frowned.
In any case, Sean was his best friend's, Brent's grandson. He felt guilty for Brent and his wife, and also for Devon. Therefore, when Devon schemed to kill Lily's parents, he didn't take revenge.
Therefore, even when he learned that it was Sean who kidnapped Lily, he was not willing to pursue the matter in the case that Lily's life was not in danger.
After noticing that he was in a dilemma, Jara immediately added, "I promise I won't kill him."
With the reassurance, Mr. Gill nodded and said, "Okay, this is your business. I won't get involved."
When Sean heard that, he immediately yelled in fright.
"No! I won't go with them! I won't go with them! John, you killed my grandparents, my father, and now you want to hand me over to these people. Do you still have a conscience? Are you crazy?"
Jara frowned and couldn't be bothered to listen to him shouting any longer, so he directly took out his hand knife to knock him out.
Although Mr. Gill could not bear to see this happening, he did not say anything.
After dealing with all this, they said goodbye to Mr. Gill and Lily, then left Klyesy Village.
Since they were not in a rush to return to Flaucford, they decided to stop by Nimouth to get some rest before heading back.
After being staying up for the whole night, all of them were exhausted. Jara handed Sean over to Quan, then went with Emmeline to get some rest.
It was already afternoon by the time they woke up.
This time, only Quan and a few others came with them. David and Nora stayed back in Flaucford to take care of other affairs.
While they were taking a nap, Quan and the others had already prepared their food. The few of them got up and washed up before eating together. After the meal, only then did they come to Sean's room where he was being locked up.
After a few hours, Sean had quiet down. His entire body was tied up as he sat on the ground and looked at them coldly.
Jara and the others sat down on the sofa, looking at him up and down, and said lightly, "Tell me, what's your background?"
Sean kept quiet. He looked away as if he was ready to resist till the end.
However, Jara wasn't in a hurry as he sneered. Slightly raising his chin, he made eye contact with Quan.
In the next second, a knife stabbed towards Sean's thigh.
He screamed, and immediately, his face turned pale. His body trembled with pain, and cold sweat fell broke out in a flash.
Meanwhile, Jara took out a cigarette and lit it. His tone was still the same as before.
"You don't have to tell me, but I have many ways to deal with you. You can give it a try if you don't believe me."
Gritting his teeth, Sean glared at him. After a long while, he cried, "Bah."
"You want to get information out of me? Dream on!"
When he finished his sentence, Jara's eyes narrowed slightly, smiling faintly.
"So, you do have another identity?"
After realizing he had a slip of the tongue, Sean was stunned.
Jara smiled again. "Don't worry, I told you that already that we have plenty of time here."
Then, he motioned again. Upon receiving the signal, Quan pulled out the knife that was stuck in his thigh and fiercely pierced it in his calf.
At that moment, Sean was in so much pain that his entire face had turned green. The veins on his forehead were throbbing, and he was sweating profusely as if he was in a steamer.
After Clarissa gave birth, she couldn't watch such a bloody scene. She coughed softly and said to Anderson, "Walk with me for a while."
With a nod, Anderson got up to hold her as they walked out of the room.
They heard two two more screams as they walked out.
With that, Clarissa's heart jumped twice. Anderson held her hand tightly and said in a low voice, "For some people, they are only willing to speak through violence."
Clarissa nodded. "I understand."
Her face was still a little pale. Looking at the long corridor in front of her, she whispered, "I was just a little uncomfortable when I saw the blood, and it was a little suffocating, so I thought I'd come out to get some fresh, and I'll be fine."
