Chapter 475 A Sharp Pang Of Jealousy

Anderson's expression, however, was still very sombre.
He didn't answer, nor did he speak.
Clarissa curled her lips in grievance. "You're the one who failed to protect me, yet you're still mad at me?"
Anderson's eyebrows twitched.
A moment later, he said coldly, "It was my fault that I shouldn't have let you wait there alone, but you shouldn't have insisted on saving him."
Clarissa choked.
She explained patiently, "His combat skill is good. You see, even if he is seriously injured, I was not a match for him at all just now. Don't you want to know who such a powerful person is?""
Anderson slightly twitched the corner of his mouth, as his gaze swept across the person lying in the back seat from the rearview mirror.
His slightly open collar was stained with blood, and he had a deep-set of eyes.
"Anderson, let's help him, okay? Please."
Anderson's gaze fell back on her again as the expression of his face darkened slightly.
"Are you begging me for help for another man?"
Clarissa was at a loss for words.
"What are you thinking? My thought is, since he's so mysterious, I wanted to know more about him."
Anderson glanced at her. "You want to know more about him?"
"That's right."
Clarissa nodded her head repeatedly, for fear that he wouldn't believe her words.
Anderson sneered.
He didn't say anything more. The atmosphere froze and she could tell that he was unhappy.
Clarissa puffed out her cheeks.
"Anderson... Everything was going well just now. What's he suddenly so mad"
After a moment, she thought for a moment before taking a glance at him. Clarissa then suddenly leaned over and kissed him on the face.
Anderson's expression stiffened for a moment.
She curled her lips and kissed him on the lips again.
Anderson shouted in a low voice, "Sit down! Stop moving around."
"No, I want to kiss you."
As she spoke, she leaned over again. Anderson held her body down and forced her to sit in her own seat.
Clarissa couldn't move because of being held down by him. She puffed out her cheeks with dissatisfaction and said with resentment, "What's wrong with you? Why are you so angry? Why don't you tell me the reason? How can I know if you don't tell me?"
Anderson raised his eyebrows and caught a glimpse of the anger on her face out of the corner of his eye. He was laughing with his eyes.
However, he still did not speak. He held her hand tightly. Soon, Anderson drove the car back to the Starbay Villa.
As soon as Clarissa got out of the car, Anderson also followed her out of the car.
She opened the back door of the car and saw that the man had slipped into a coma on the seat. She pushed his shoulder and said, "Hey, wake up!"
There was no response from him
Clarissa frowned. She turned to Anderson and said, "He passed out. It's not safe to let him go somewhere else now. Why don't we bring him in first..."
This time, Anderson did not object.
He got him out of the car and carried him to the door of the villa. And they entered the villa after opening the door.
Clarissa quickly went to get some hot water. It was new year holidays now, so they had been spending most of their time in the old mansion. All the servants in the villa had been given a break too to go back home to celebrate new year.
It was precisely because of this that there was no one else in the villa other than Anderson and Clarissa.
However, it was a good thing that there was no one at home. She had all the basic medicine to treat wounds at home.
Clarissa took out the first aid kid and wrung the towel dry before wiping the blood on his face.
A thin and pale face was gradually revealed.
It was a handsome face. His eyebrows were cyclically arched, and he had a sharp nose and thin lips. Even though he was in a coma, he still exuded an aura of gentleness and elegance.
It was no wonder that he was apologizing to her even at such a critical moment.
Clarissa couldn't help but curl her lips and reached out to unbutton his clothes.
Anderson, who had been standing aside and watching coldly, felt his eyelids twitching.
"What are you doing?"
Clarissa replied naturally, "I'm taking off his clothes."
Anderson's facial expression darkened. "No!"
Clarissa was stunned. She looked up at him in puzzlement. "How can I apply medicine with his clothes on?"
Anderson frowned and looked at the man lying on the bed in disgust. In the end, he snorted coldly.
He snatched the first aid kit from her hand and said in a deep voice, "How do I do this? Tell me, I'll do it!"
Clarissa was stunned. When she saw the stern look on his face, she had conjecture in her mind. She couldn't help but grin.
Anderson's face stiffened as he turned around to glare at her.
The more Clarissa looked at him, the more lovely she felt he was. She put her arms around Anderson's waist and kissed him on the cheek.
"What are you thinking about? Now he is a patient in my eyes. Isn't it normal for a doctor to take off clothes for a patient?"
Anderson gazed down at Clarissa in his arms, while still keeping a straight face on.
"But he is also a man."
Clarissa blinked her eyes.
"I don't care about other doctors. You can't."
Seeing how he was still putting on a tough attitude, leaving her with no room for arguments, Clarissa smiled and said, "Okay, then I'll listen to you."
She was unusually obedient, which made his expression soften. He lowered his head and kissed her on the lips, then patted her waist.
"Stand over there. Just guide me through it by my side."
"All right."
Clarissa stood aside, asking him to take off his clothes first, and then clean his wound with alcohol before applying the medicine to it.
Anderson was smart and a fast learner, Coupled with his many years of life experience, he could actually tend to some external wounds with ease.
It didn't take long to tend to his wounds.
Clarissa examined his body again to make sure that there were no other wounds other than the one they tended to.
It wasn't until she confirmed that there were no other injuries that she felt relieved.
Clarissa then took an antibiotic medicine and fed him before saying to Anderson, "Let him lie down for a while. Let's talk about it after he wakes up tomorrow."
Anderson nodded and moved him into the guest room. After making sure that everything was alright with him, the two returned to their rooms to rest.
The next day, Clarissa got up late. As soon as she got downstairs, she saw that breakfast had been served on the table, while Anderson just came back from the gym.
Seeing her, he put the towel on the sofa and said, "Let's eat first."
Clarissa nodded. The breakfast was probably delivered from the old mansion early in the morning. Clarissa could tell from the taste that it was prepared by Gracie. She praised while eating, "Gracie is so good at cooking. I've gained weight recently because of that."
Anderson glanced at her. "Eat more if you like it."
Then, he served her with another half a bowl of porridge.
After Clarissa finished half of the bowl, she couldn't eat any more. She just sat there while caressing her belly.
Seeing this, Anderson said, "That person is awake now, do you want to go and take a look?"
Clarissa was stunned. Then, she came to her senses. "He's awake?"
"That's right."
"I'll go take a look."
She got up and turned around to fill some food in a bowl before heading to the guest room.
The guest room was on the third floor. As soon as they entered the room, as expected, that man was already awake. He was sitting on the bed and looking out of the window at the green scenery in a daze.
He turned around as he heard the sound of her footsteps. When he saw a beautiful couple standing at the door, he was slightly shocked.
"You're awake! How are you feeling? Are you feeling unwell?"
