Evelyn sent Jeffrey to the door to express her gratitude to him.
"It's no problem. I'm your best buddy! You are not in good health now and you just discharged from the hospital today. Of course, I have to help you out."
Jeffrey said to Evelyn with a smile.
"Well, it's getting late. You'd better hurry up and go back."
When they came out, she looked at his cell phone to see that it was almost midnight now.
Jeffrey was worried about her as she was a little absent-minded before, so he insisted on accompanying her home before going back to his own.
Evelyn couldn't dissuade him, so Jeffrey took her home.
After returning home, they had chatted for quite a while in the living room. That was why he only came out of the house until now. Otherwise, he would have been on his way home at nine o'clock.
