Evelyn knew this hospital belonged to the Blaine Group. In other words, Marty was the boss here.
Since she didn't want Marty to know too much about her situation, she didn't want to bring Iris here.

Evelyn had taken a leave to make a trip here. Because the crew had been rushing her, she was ready to go back to the set right after she had dinner with Iris.
When parting, she held Iris's hand and told her what to take note of in daily life. Looking at Iris's complexion, which was obviously better than before, she thought to herself, "Maybe this would turn out to be great."
If she and Marty had to be together, then so be it. If Iris could be in good health again in return, everything was worth it.
After that, she said goodbye to Iris.
She walked out of the hospital, took a taxi, and hurried back to the set.
As soon as she returned to the set, she heard the others say that someone had come to visit her before she could sit down and have some water.
Evelyn was a little surprised. She didn't know who would come at this hour.
When she walked outside, she found out it was Jeffrey who had come.
As soon as she saw Jeffrey, her heart sank. Her facial expression changed slightly as she was suddenly reminded of the promise she made to Marty.
She walked over and asked, "Why are you here?"
Jeffrey didn't know the agreement between her and Marty. They smiled and said, "I happened to pass by today, so I came to see you."
After a pause, he asked, "By the way, how's Iris? Have you found her?"
Evelyn avoided his gaze and nodded. "Yes, I've found her."
Hearing this, Jeffrey let out a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "I was scared to death. I thought something had happened to Iris. Nevertheless, I know there should be no big deal when I learned that you have returned to the set. But I was still worried, so I have come to see you. I'm glad that Iris is fine."
Evelyn was silent. She was at a loss for words at the moment.
A complex feeling welled up in her chest when she faced Jeffrey's concern.
Jeffrey asked again, "By the way, which hospital is she in now? I'll find time to visit her some other day."
Evelyn turned her face away as she didn't dare to look into his sincere eyes. She said with a guilty look, "She's fine. Great."
Seeing her evasive maneuvers, Jeffrey frowned.
"Evelyn, what's wrong with you? Did I do something wrong? Why do I feel like you're not too happy?"
Evelyn felt a tug at her heartstrings. She couldn't bear to see him being so concerned about her.
This would only make her felt even worse.
Therefore, she took a deep breath and mustered up the courage, and turned to look at Jeffrey. She said, "Nothing. Since you're here, I have something to talk to you about. Let's go somewhere else to talk."
After that, Evelyn turned to walk to the other side.

Those actors were not widely known yet. They had a good relationship with Evelyn. They couldn't wait to gossip when they saw Evelyn brought a young man here.

They all agreed. They even winked at her as they left the lounge.
Someone even said in a low voice, "Evelyn, way to go! He is handsome. Keep it going. Do remember to invite us to your wedding."

Being stared at by them like that, Evelyn felt very embarrassed but helpless.
After everyone left, she pointed to the sofa next to him and said to Jeffrey, "Sit down first. Would you like a glass of water? I'll pour it for you."
Jeffrey quickly waved his hand dismissively and said, "No need. I just came to see you. By the way, you said you have something to say to me. What is it?"
