Chapter 162 Take a Trip
Hearing this, Anderson raised his eyebrows, and looked a little displeased.
"So, you will be away from home for a long time?"
Clarissa was taken aback for a moment, and then realized that he was right.
She raised her face and smiled at Anderson.
"Just a few months. Time passes by quickly and you'll get over it."
Anderson smiled evilly.
"Ha! You promised me to go back to Flaucford with me!"
Clarissa was speechless.
Well...
She really didn't mean to forget it!
Seeing that Anderson's face darkened immediately, she said with a serious face, "There are still a few days left before I join the crew, and we can go back now."
In order to prove her determination, she took out her mobile phone at once and checked the ticket.
"If we book the tickets for tomorrow morning, it won't be too late."
Anderson sneered, ignored her, turned and walked upstairs.
Clarissa didn't know what to do.
She thought Anderson was angry. Unexpectedly, within a few minutes, he came down from upstairs and threw a pile of travel guide to her.
"Choose a place and we will leave tomorrow."
Clarissa was confused.
Anderson's expression looked a little uneasy.
"I finally have a few days to rest. Don't you want to have a trip?"
Clarissa's eyes lit up suddenly.
"Of course I want."
She carried those documents in a hurry and looked for the place she wanted to go.
While watching it, she asked him.
Anderson had no request. Clarissa was about to join the crew soon, and he definitely couldn't go to see her every day because of work.
In this case, they had to be parted from each other for a period of time.
He couldn't bear to leave her, so he wanted to spend a few days with her before that.
Clarissa found a place quickly. After all, she had been to many places in the past few years.
Soon, she found a few places which were suitable for visiting, and there wouldn't be lots of visitors. She showed it to him happily.
"In the past, when I wanted to take a trip alone, I chose these places. They are all nice and it's very suitable to go there in this season. Take a look and choose one."
Anderson skimmed through the pictures on the iPad slowly. They were all places with good scenery, which were very suitable for young couples to travel and relax. He felt relieved, thought for a while and chose one of them.
"This one! There are mountains and rivers, and it's close to the sea. It looks great."
Clarissa leaned over and took a look, and she immediately smiled brightly, "I like this one the most, so that's it."
"Okay." Anderson nodded meaningfully, "I will arrange the specific time in the evening and then let you know."
Their trip was determined decisively like this. After the meal, Clarissa went back to the room with the iPad joyfully and continued to make a travel strategy.
That night, Anderson decided to go out for three and a half days and set off early tomorrow morning.
Clarissa was overjoyed and quickly agreed. After that, she began to prepare their luggage.
They chose a small coastal town in the neighboring country, not in Ascijan.
But that town was very famous. Many people travelled there because of its beautiful scenery, good environment, and fresh air.
The most important thing was that it was spring, which was the best time for outing.
Although the temperature was very different during the day and at night in the town, the climate there was pleasing.
Clarissa prepared many things that they might use.
After that, early the next morning, Anderson went to the company to handle some things. Then he returned directly from the company, picked her up, and went to the airport.
Clarissa was very excited, because this was their first time to travel together. When they arrived at the airport, she found that they were about to take Anderson's private aircraft.
"We made the decision hastily, and it was too late to book plane tickets, so it will be faster to take this."
Anderson explained why they had to take his private aircraft.
Clarissa nodded, and didn't think too much.
After getting on the plane, she learned that the flying time took three hours, so she closed her eyes and wanted to rest for a while.
Anderson was reading an investment plan next to her. He was very busy. Although he was on vacation, he still had to work because he was in charge of the company.
Although he was not in the company, he had to deal with some business.
Thinking of this, Clarissa felt a little distressed for him. In order not to disturb her sleep, he closed all the curtains in the cabin, and only the front light was on.
Anderson leaned on the chair, flipped through the document in front of him with a serious face, and frowned from time to time. Occasionally, he signed on it and circled some words.
Clarissa watched him spellbound and thought that Anderson looked so handsome in this way. No wonder those women all liked him, because he was really charming.
But she was an just ordinary person. How could she be so lucky to be with him and enjoy his favor?
Thinking of this, Clarissa became more determined that she would work hard to make progress. She hoped that she could stand beside him with confidence and never shame him.
It was very quiet in the cabin and no one spoke. She lay on the soft recliner, turned her body slightly and wrapped her arm around his waist gently. Then she closed her eyes.
Anderson paused and lowered his eyes to look at her hand on his waist.
When he turned her head, he saw Clarissa sleeping with her eyes closed. She put her hand on him, which was a unique and clingy movement, and his heart suddenly softened.
He held her hand, leaned over to kiss her on the cheek, and whispered, "Have a good sleep."
Clarissa slept extremely soundly.
Three hours later.
The plane landed at the destination. Clarissa was awakened by Anderson, and then rubbed her eyes and followed him off the plane.
Anderson brought her out temporarily, so few people knew about it, and he didn't take many people with him. But he still let Nora follow them for safety.
After getting off the plane, someone was waiting there to pick them up.
He took Clarissa's hand and got on the car, and then they drove to a farm manor chosen by Clarissa.
The name of this town was Kormaw, which meant wonderland in their language.
They sat in the car and looked out the window together. The scenery here had great charm, and the environment was quiet. The red-roof low houses with local characteristics were scattered.
On both sides of the street were rows of large pear trees, and the air was heavy with the scent of flowers. Some people passed by under the trees on bicycles. Their laughter was sweet and they looked leisurely and happy.
Clarissa was attracted to the scenery, leaning over the car window and looking out.
Anderson smiled slightly and held her hand.
After half an hour, they finally arrived at the destination.
The destination was very close to the sea. Although the manor was not large and luxurious, the environment was quiet. It was elegantly furnished, which was very suitable for a relaxing holiday.
They came out in a hurry, and they wouldn't stay for too long, so they didn't bring much luggage.
