Chapter 64 He Is Proud Of Her

She analyzed some problems that was being solved in the company and some had been solved in the past.
Then she arranged their work and discussed about some other things. The meeting wasn't over until 12 o'clock in the noon.
Originally, there were some people in the company who were not convinced by her. But after a meeting, they were basically convinced.
They didn't expect that Clarissa would directly propose solutions to those problems that they couldn't solve for a long time.
As soon as they heard her solutions, they knew that her solutions could definitely work and wouldn't be wrong.
Under such circumstances, it didn't take long for Clarissa to get a firm foothold in the public relations department.
At first, Anderson was worried that someone would make things difficult for Clarissa because of her young age, so he sent David to keep an eye on the department.
In just half a month, he found that the employees in the public relations department not only did not push Clarissa aside, but also obeyed her and followed her lead.
Anderson smiled when David reported it to him.
He found that Clarissa was even more excellent than he thought.
She was obviously an unemotional and indifferent person, but she became so decisive and aggressive when she went to work.
She was not only good at getting along with others, but also good at dealing with problems.
Anderson felt so proud of Clarissa in his heart.
Because such an outstanding woman was his wife.
Since Anderson was happy, David was naturally very delighted.
But he didn't quite understand this matter.
Glancing at Anderson's face, he felt that he was in a good mood today, so he asked curiously, "Mr. Jordan, you didn't agree with office romance in the past, and you said it would affect work. Why do you ask Mrs. Jordan to work here..."
Anderson glanced at him.
The expression in his eyes was hard to understand. After a while, he smiled.
"You won't understand even if I tell you."
David was speechless.
He thought, "If you don't tell me, how can I understand?"
Anderson waved his hand, "Alright, I have my own plans for this matter. There's no need for you to ask more."
Seeing this, David knew that Anderson wouldn't tell him the answer, so he had to give up.
In a flash, one month had passed.
Winter had come.
Although Visstead was in the eastern part of the country, winter came very early. It had only been one month since winter came, but it had already started to snow.
It was the weekend, so Clarissa did not have to go to work. After going to Starlight to have a look in the morning, she didn't want to go out in the afternoon and curled up on the sofa to read books.
Anderson had gone back to Flaucford a few days ago. He wanted to go back with her, but Clarissa refused him.
She hadn't decided whether she should go back with him or not.
She felt that she would be a little awkward if she went back to Flaucford with him, because she hadn't been mentally prepared to meet his families.
Anderson did not force her. He knew what she was thinking and he knew her character well. If he pushed her, it would only make her angry. So he could only give her some time to think about it slowly.
Anyway, he had got married with Clarissa and she couldn't leave him, so he didn't have to worry about anything. It was only a matter of time.
He had a lot of patience.
When Clarissa received his call, it was already five o'clock in the afternoon.
She looked at the caller ID and felt so delighted.
She answered the phone in a hurry and heard a familiar voice.
"Have you arrived?"
Anderson nodded and said, "I just got off the plane, but I have to go back to the company to deal with an urgent matter, so I may not be able to go home immediately. Why don't you wait for me at the company? Shall we go to Historic Mountain Resort for dinner at night?"
Clarissa thought that it was a good idea.
Therefore, she agreed.
After hanging up the phone, she returned to the room and wore a coat. Then she went downstairs, told Pattie about it and then went out.
Snowflakes were dancing in the air, and there was a terrible chill in the air.
Clarissa parked the car at the downstairs the Jordan Group. She didn't go upstairs but sent a message to him and waited for him in the car.
Anderson replied to her with a message and told her that he would come down soon.
When Clarissa was waiting for him, she suddenly caught a glance of the Christmas tree in the luxury store on the side of the road. She suddenly realized that Christmas was coming soon.
The luxury store was clean and tidy. There were fashionable and high-end men's suits hanging inside the cabinet windows.
She glanced at the shelf next to the suits and paused slightly.
Then, she shut off the engine and got out of the car.
It was a dark grey cashmere scarf, and its style was simple. The end of the scarf was embroidered with the logo of the same color. It looked so elegant.
Clarissa had never seen Anderson wearing a scarf before, but when she looked at this one, she felt that it was very suitable for him.
She could almost imagine how handsome Anderson would be when he was wearing it. The more she looked at the scarf, the more she liked it.
Coincidentally, a shop assistant came over. Clarissa pointed at the scarf and said, "Please pack this for me."
The shop assistant glanced at the scarf and said with a smile, "Okay, please wait for a moment."
She had never given Anderson any gifts. On the contrary, after getting married for two months, he had bought a lot of things for her.
She always felt a little guilty, and she wanted to give him a surprise on this Christmas!
She followed the shop assistant to the counter. When she was about to pay, a surprised voice came from behind her.
"Clarissa?"
Clarissa was a little surprised and turned her head.
She saw a young man and woman coming downstairs, and it was the young woman who called her name just now.
"You're really Clarissa! I thought I made a mistake!"
The woman walked down quickly with a surprised face. Clarissa glanced at her blandly, and the expression in her eyes turned a little cold. She didn't say anything.
She took a bank card out of her wallet and gave it to the shop assistant.
After the shop assistant used the card, she said with a smile, "It's thirty-four thousand and eight hundred dollars in total. This is your scarf. Please take it."
Clarissa nodded and thanked her. Then she turned around and walked out with the scarf in the bag.
The woman who came down from the upstairs sneered with disdain when she saw that she was actually completely ignored by Clarissa.
"Why are you pretending to be noble? I heard that you have broken up with Elliot. What's wrong? Do you have a sugar daddy now? You can even buy a scarf which is worth more than 30,000 dollars. Do you buy it for your sugar daddy?"
Clarissa's eyes suddenly turned cold.
She turned to look at the girl and said in an indifferent voice, "Millie Watts, you'd better not speak so impolitely!"
Millie said proudly, "Didn't you pretend that you didn't know me just now? Do you know me now?"
Millie was Clarissa's schoolmate in a high school. Clarissa knew her indeed.
When Clarissa got to know Elliot, Millie also liked Elliot.
But Elliot had always ignored Millie. Later, he chased after Clarissa gallantly. After Clarissa became Elliot's girlfriend, Millie had hated Clarissa so much for a long time.
Clarissa didn't expect that Millie would still remember this after six years.
She looked Millie up and down with apathetic eyes, and then smiled mockingly.
"Sorry, I don't think it's a wonderful thing to know you, so I pretended not to see you. Are you satisfied with my answer?"
