Chapter 12 Mrs. Jordan In The Future

Anderson turned his head and finally looked at her face.
Dressed up in the beige windbreaker, she still looked so clean and fresh, but there seemed to be a trace of sadness deep in her eyes, which was caught by his keen eyes.
His eyes were a little serious, but he didn't say anything. He just nodded slightly.
"Yeah, I drank a little."
Clarissa forced a smile.
Anderson was really good at telling lies. The smell of the alcohol was so strong. How could he only drink a little?
Obviously, he had drunk a lot!
However, she had no standpoint and was too embarrassed to care about him, so she pursed her lips and did not say anything.
David turned around and asked her with a smile, "Miss Chapman, where do you live?"
Clarissa told him a address and David searched it on the map. Then he started the car.
No one spoke in the car. Clarissa put her hands on her legs with her fingers crossed and looked out of the window.
Clarissa felt a little reserved, perhaps it was because Anderson was too commanding. Even her back was tense.
Looking at how nervous she was, Anderson smiled silently.
"Did you just come from the Chapman family?"
Clarissa was stunned for a moment, and then she came to sense, "Oh, yes."
"As far as I know, you usually don't go back. Why did you suddenly come here?"
Since she had slept with Anderson, Clarissa knew that he would investigate her, so she was not surprised that he knew about her situation.
She hesitated but didn't give him a direct answer.
"There's a personal matter... So I came back."
"Personal matter?"
Anderson raised his eyebrows and tapped the car window lightly with his fingers. There seemed to be a faint smile on his handsome face.
"As your legal husband, I think I have the right to know your personal affair."
He said this with a smile. If it were someone else, Clarissa would think that he was joking.
However, Clarissa knew that Anderson was not joking.
Although there was a smile on his face, his eyes were very serious, as if he was warning her that she'd better be honest and don't force him to investigate.
Clarissa smiled bitterly and helplessly. She did not dare resist and told him what had happened honestly.
In fact, she was looking forward to his reaction in her heart.
She thought that since she was bullied, he would help her fight back, because they had got married.
For example, he would immediately make a turn and rush back to the Chapman family to help her vent her anger!
Unexpectedly.
"So, you were sad for that scumbag just now?"
Clarissa was speechless.
She thought, "Is this what you pay attention to?"
She smiled awkwardly, "No, I'm not sad! Why do you say like this?"
The smile on Anderson face looked a little mocking.
Clarissa pursed her lower lip, feeling a little guilty.
After hesitating for a while, she finally lowered her voice and muttered, "I'm just unwilling to accept the fact! My boyfriend betrayed me, but I have to help them lie to the public and see how they love each other. Just thinking about it is enough to make me feel sick!"
Anderson looked at the depressed look in her eyes and thought for a moment.
"So what are you going to do?"
He didn't believe that she would really be so obedient to be a stepping stone for Elliot and Lara.
Sure enough, Clarissa's depressed face immediately became cunning.
"Well... I have my own plan. I don't tell you now, in case you will let it out."
Anderson smiled and did not ask more.
"Alright. I'll see what you're going to do."
The car soon arrived at Clarissa's house.
It was a small apartment which was located in the city center, and it was surrounded by a circle of artificial green belts. David stopped the car on the side of the road. Clarissa got out of the car and waved to Anderson who was sitting in the back seat.
"Mr. Jordan, thank you for sending me back. Goodbye."
Anderson's hand which was arranging his sleeve paused. He looked at her and corrected her, "You shouldn't call me like this, Mrs. Jordan."
Clarissa was stunned, and her face blushed for no reason.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw David who was smiling mischievously on the driver's seat. She glared at him.
Then, she replied seriously, "Didn't you say that you would give me three days? There are still two days left! Don't hurry."
Anderson thought about it and agreed.
He never went back on his words. In any case, one day had passed and there were only two days left. There was no hurry.
Thinking of this, he looked at her with a faint smile and waved his hand, "Well, goodbye, Mrs. Jordan in the future."
Clarissa was speechless.
The black Rolls-Royce drove away. Clarissa withdrew her eyes and walked to the apartment.
When she opened the door, she received a call from Millie, the assistant. He said that he had just received an email from Elliot. There was an emergency meeting to be held in the company tomorrow morning, and all the top managers had to attend it. He reminded her not to be late.
Clarissa promised. After hanging up the phone, she clicked open her mailbox and saw the mass e-mail sent by Elliot indeed.
She sold adult erotica products as a sideline, and her day job was the manager of the public relations department of an entertainment company owned by the Duncan Group.
This was Elliot's first company given by Conner. When he took over this company, it was not in a good condition. Conner gave him this company to test his ability.
During that time, Elliot was very busy. When Clarissa learned about it, she helped him handle several problems in a perfect way, which made him very excited.
Later, when she came back from aboard, she couldn't refuse his earnest plea and took over the public relations department of this company.
From then on, this brokerage company named Twilight Entertainment had been running smoothly.
Even in the increasingly cruel environment of industry competition, it developed very well. In just two years, it had rapidly developed into a large media company with no opponent except for Energence International Crop.
She was not a genius, and she had never done this kind of work before. The reason why she could make such achievements was not only because of her talent, but also because she worked so hard every day and night.
Just because this was his company.
But Elliot did not announce their relationship.
At that time, she didn't think much. She thought that he didn't want to affect his work because of their relationship, so she silently cooperated with him and never said anything outside.
Therefore, apart from her best friend Lauren Jones, no one knew that she was working in the Duncan family.
It was not until that moment that she realized the reason why he didn't announce their relationship was because he wanted to make an excuse for his betrayal.
If a man loved you, he would not be unwilling to announce your relationship.
Thinking of this, Clarissa sneered.
She took the phone and sent a message to Conner. Then she threw the phone aside and went into the bathroom.
When she came out, she received a reply from Conner.
"I have prepared what you want. Come and sign it at 10 o'clock in tomorrow morning. It will take effect immediately after you sign it."
She typed on the screen quickly with her slender fingers, "Okay. Thank you, Uncle Conner."
