Chapter 780 Don't Even Dare to Think About It

in truth, Emmeline couldn't care less whether she was a woman or not in Kayla's eyes.
At this moment, she felt that Jara was not even a man.
After so many rounds of fighting, he had clearly lost, but he still refused to admit it. What was the matter? Did it really have to be a do-or-die situation?
With the thought in mind, a hint of malevolence appeared in Emmeline's eyes.
However, with Isaac around, he was not to let anything happen to them.
Hence, immediately, he stopped Emmeline and said, "Well, Jara is just stubborn. Let's not argue with him. You both can solve your dispute later on. If one of you is dead, which side should I take? Emmeline, for the sake of our years of friendship, don't put me in a difficult position. I beg you."
Upon hearing that, Jara spat out a mouthful of blood and sneered, "Isaac, why are you begging her? You don't know who's side you are on?"
By this time, Isaac's good temper was completely exhausted.
He turned his head and shouted at Jara, "You, shut up!"
Meanwhile, Jara's face was ashen as he stared at Emmeline. In the end, he didn't say another word.
Again, Isaac tried to comfort Emmeline. At this time, even Kayla could tell that the fight between the two was not entirely because of her.
They both had emotional build-up since the beginning, so they needed a channel to vent their anger. Hence, this was a good chance for them to completely vent out their rage.
Then, Kayla stepped forward to hold Jara. Her eyes were red as if she was about to cry.
"Jara, I'm sorry. It's all my fault that you are injured badly. I don't feel mistreated anymore. It's true. Stop fighting."
As she spoke, she gently wiped off the blood from the corner of his mouth with her sleeve.
Looking at her, Jara narrowed his eyes.
But at the corner of his eye, he was glancing at Emmeline. Seeing that she had her back to him, with her arms crossed, and was listening to Isaac speaking. In an instant, a wave of anger rose in him inexplicably.
Suddenly, he pulled Kayla into his arms.
Smiling evilly, he said, "It doesn't matter. For my beloved woman, getting slightly injured is no big deal. As long as you are happy, let alone to fight for you, even if it's to grab the stars, I will do it."
Hearing this, Isaac felt goosebumps.
Then, he looked up and carefully glanced at Emmeline's face, only to find that there was no expression on her face as if she didn't hear it at all.
Hence, Isaac cleared his throat and said loudly, "Okay, since you all have no objections, then this matter is settled. This fight is done. Jara, you are not allowed to ask Emmeline to apologize to Kayla anymore, and Emmeline, you can't attack Jara again."
After that, Emmeline turned around and gave Jara a dark look.
Then, she sneered. "If he doesn't provoke me, of course, I won't attack him."
Upon hearing these words, Jara felt a surge of anger as if a mouthful of blood was stuck in his chest, struggling to go down nor down, and it was hard to describe his pent-up anger.
He thought to himself that his fighting skills had indeed been neglected in the past four years. It seemed that he had to start practicing.
However, he was stubborn to admit his defeat, as he snorted. "I'm just not in a good condition today. You say it as if you can beat me anytime you want."
Since a decade ago, Emmeline already knew how stubborn he was when she first met him.
As such, she rolled her eyes when she heard that, and couldn't be bothered to argue with him. Then, she turned around and walked out of the course.
"If there's nothing else, I'll be going first!"
When she finished her words, she was already walking toward the exit.
Stunned, Isaac asked subconsciously, "Where are you going?"
However, Emmeline did not answer him as she quickly disappeared at the exit.
On the other hand, Jara stood where he was, watching her as she walked away, and his eyes darkened a little.
After the incident, they were clearly not in the mood to play anymore, so after a short rest, they went back home.
When he returned to the castle, he learned that Emmeline hadn't come back.
Upon hearing the news, Jara's expression turned grim. He ignored everyone and went straight upstairs, locking himself in his bedroom.
As Kayla stood in the living room, she was afraid to go upstairs with him. Looking at Isaac, who was also standing next to her, she then asked, "Mr. Mills, you're Jara's friend. Why did I see you helping Emmeline all the while today? Do you like her?"
Upon hearing this, Isaac furrowed and turned to give her a look of disdain.
In a deep voice, he replied, "Miss Burke, in your eyes, if the relationship between a man and a woman is good, it has to be love? Can't it be something else?"
After listening to his words, Kayla was stunned.
Then, Isaac sneered and added. "Well, a despicable person will always see things despicably. Miss Burke, not everyone thinks like you. You and I both know your real motive for being with Jara, in fact, everybody knows. Don't pretend to be all righteous and noble. You are the one who is suffering from being fake and others are only disgusted by your actions."
After he said that, he turned around unceremoniously and strode away.
In shock, Kayla stood at her spot in a daze. Never would she have thought that he would blurt out something like that.
It took her quite a while to come around and yelled angrily, "Isaac! Who do you think you are? I'm telling you, I'll become the mistress in this castle sooner or later, and I'll get married to Jara anyway. By then, you are not welcome to the castle anymore! Get lost as far away as possible!"
Her scream was really loud and the voice travelled afar.
Isaac might have heard him, but he did not stop in his tracks.
At the same time, Jara, who had just returned to his bedroom upstairs, also heard it.
Meanwhile, Kayla had just finished yelling and was still panting heavily when she heard a cold voice coming from upstairs.
"Who told you that you could be Mrs. Holland?"
Suddenly, Kayla shuddered violently.
Froze, she looked up in disbelief.
Standing there, Jara had clearly calmed down compared to when he lost his composure a while ago.
However, this was exactly why he seemed scarier. His gaze was deep and sharp like a shining blade. Just by looking at him, she could feel a terrifying aura emanating toward her way.
With that, Kayla could not help but shiver a little.
Subconsciously, she shook her head and explained. "No, I... That's not what I meant. Jara, I was just..."
"That's enough!"
Suddenly, Jara shouted as a cold look appeared in his gaze. Then, he continued. "Get out! Without my orders, you're not allowed to enter the main building. Also, put away those delusions of yours and don't let me hear it again, otherwise..."
Before he could say the consequences, Kayla was already nodding her head in fear.
"Sure, I know. I'll go back right away and never say it again. I'm leaving now."
After that, she picked up her own bag, turning around, and ran away.
Jara watched as she left, and his eyes were emotionless. After a while, he turned around and returned to his room.
With a bang, the door was slammed up by a great force.
Downstairs, Poick saw the scene and sighed helplessly while shaking his head.
