Chapter 132 Clarissa Got Sick

Pattie paused. She gritted her teeth and cursed herself for being ignorant in heart, regretting coming here at this moment.
She knew that Mr. Jordan and Mrs. Jordan were in the study. Since a handsome man and a beautiful woman stayed in a room together in the middle of the night, they must do something torrid. How could she bring them supper at this time?
For Mr. Jordan, how could the supper be more attractive than Mrs. Jordan?
Pattie blushed, turned around and walked in awkwardly.
"Mr. Jordan, Mrs. Jordan, I came here to bring you supper."
She smiled stiffly and looked at Clarissa, who was still forced by Anderson to sit on his lap. Clarissa covered her face with her hands and buried her head in Anderson's arms with her back to her, looking so shy and embarrassed.
Pattie smiled more meaningfully. With a trace of relief in her eyes, she put the tray on the table next to her.
Anderson didn't say anything else, but only ordered, "When I stay in the room with Mrs. Jordan in the future, don't come in casually."
"Ah, no problem! I see."
"Well, go down."
"Okay."
Pattie turned around and went out. Her back and footsteps looked so happy. Those who didn't know would think that she had won the lottery first prize.
When she left, she even closed the door for them considerately.
Anderson looked away and then looked down at Clarissa in his arms.
His sexy and thin lips curved, and his eyes were full of smiles.
"Don't hide anymore. Pattie has left."
Clarissa took a peek at the direction of the door, finding that Pattie had really left and she even closed the door. Then she breathed a sigh of relief and raised her head.
"It's all your fault!"
She raised her fist and smashed Anderson on the shoulder, feeling shy and angry.
Anderson chuckled, "Yeah. Sorry."
His pampering and joyful look made Clarissa unable to vent her anger anymore.
She just glared at him with her beautiful eyes wide open.
After hugging her and kissing her, Anderson was in a good mood. He didn't want to tease her anymore, so as not to make her really angry.
So he squeezed her soft waist and asked, "Are you hungry?"
Although Clarissa ate dinner in the evening, she didn't eat much because she was busy with work, and she was really hungry at the moment.
But she thought that she was angry with him just now, and she hadn't got even with him for his sudden kiss.
It would be too embarrassing if she ate his food at this time.
Anderson seemed to know what she was thinking. He felt more delighted and smiled more brightly.
"I'm hungry. Can you eat with me?"
Clarissa looked around with a guilty conscience. Finally, she braced herself and said stubbornly, "Okay, I'll eat some because you ask me to accompany you."
Anderson smiled, and didn't mind what she said. He let go of her, held her hand and walked over.
There were two bowls of delicious seafood porridge on the table.
Clarissa felt that she was just a little hungry before. At this moment, when she smelled such fragrant porridge, her stomach growled with hunger.
The air was quiet for a moment.
Her expression froze as she looked up at Anderson and smiled awkwardly.
"Well... you heard it wrong. There is a frog croaking outside!"
Anderson nodded meaningfully, "Yeah, it's a frog."
However, the undisguised teasing and laughter in his eyes clearly told her that he had heard her belly growling.
Clarissa felt ashamed to the extreme.
Fortunately, as long as she was cheeky enough to pretend not to see his expression, he would not expose her. They finally finished their supper in peace, and Clarissa was satisfied.
She took the initiative to take the dishes and chopsticks, downstairs. When she came back, Anderson was taking a bath in the bathroom.
Clarissa casually picked up a fashion magazine and leaned on the bedside to read it. The magazine was the latest, and there were Amy's new designs on it.
After all, Amy was an internationally famous designer, and she invited an international supermodel, so there were many pages about them in the magazine.
Clarissa flipped through a few pages at will, and her eyes suddenly paused.
She saw a picture of Gabriela in the magazine.
Gabriela, an unique goddess in the entertainment circle. She was highly educated, beautiful, and had a noble family.
As the only daughter of the Levine family, one of the four major families in Flaucford, she was born under a lucky star. She graduated from a famous foreign university and had several degrees, but she was obsessed with acting and wanted to become an actress.
Her acting skills were not top-notch, because she was not very young. But among other actresses of the same age, she was quite outstanding.
At least, she had played the leading role in several great movies, and the literary film she played in last year won an international award.
The most commendable thing was that, although she was famous, she was very friendly and low-key. She had been an actress for seven years, but there was no rumor about her, and she had no shortcomings for people to complain.
She was a perfect woman.
Clarissa remembered what Anderson had said before, and she almost couldn't believe that she was actually an adopted daughter of the Levine family.
She didn't know much about the Levine family, but she knew that Mr. Levine and Mrs. Levine loved each other so much. As one of the most famous painters, Mrs. Levine often attended various public activities. Clarissa saw her on TV several times before.
She was an extremely beautiful and elegant woman.
Although her face was no longer young, her beauty was not affected at all, and she even looked more charming.
The child of such a person must be very excellent!
Clarissa suddenly remembered the previous misunderstanding and chuckled.
It couldn't be said that she didn't mind it at all. But since she had chosen to believe him, she had no reason to think too much.
Thinking like this, she put the magazine aside and didn't read it anymore.
A few days later.
The first snow came in Visstead after the beginning of spring.
The snowflakes were so small, and they turned into water when they fell on people's fingertips. Compared with the weather when large snowflakes were falling, the weather was much warmer.
But even so, in the early spring when the weather had turned cold again, it was easy to catch a cold.
For example, Clarissa fell ill because of the sudden snow this time.
"Mr. Jordan, Mrs. Jordan just caught a cold, and she was not seriously ill. You don't need to be so nervous."
Looking at Anderson, whose face had been straight since he got up in the morning, Pattie persuaded him kindly.
Anderson glanced at her, and his face was still worried. He walked straight to the doctor who was treating Clarissa and asked, "How is she?"
The doctor stood up in a hurry and replied respectfully, "Mrs. Jordan just caught a cold, and she will be better after taking some medicine and having a rest."
Anderson's expression relieved slightly when he heard this.
After the doctor went out to make a prescription, Clarissa looked at him and said with a smile, "I said that I am all right, but you make a fuss. I just caught a cold. You look like that I am seriously ill!"
Anderson glared at her, "How dare you say this? Who didn't listen to me and got in a draught last night?"
Clarissa was stunned, and she suddenly felt a little guilty.
