Chapter 484 A Star Who Falls Out Of Love

When Clarissa's fist landed on his body, it felt more like a tickle to him.
After a while, Clarissa was tired, so she stopped and took a rest.
Time flew by. In the blink of an eye, more than three months had passed.
Clarissa was about to give birth to the baby.
During the same month, Anderson stopped going to the office and let David handle the affairs of the company. Otherwise, he would work from home just to stay with her at home.
Today was Old Master Blaine's 60th birthday. Marty had informed them a few days ago that they had to be present on time.
So on this day, after Anderson and Clarissa got everything ready, they went to the Blaine family in a car.
The Blaine family was one of the four great families of the Flaucford, of course, they had to make a big deal out of Old Master Blaine's birthday.
The eldest son of the Blaine family and Marty had both been assigned to entertain the guests. Naturally, it was the Old Madam Blaine and Madam Feng who were accompanying the womenfolk.
Lauren and Jameson had recently returned to Ascijan, so naturally, they would come to attend the birthday party.
Seeing Clarissa pregnant, Lauren quickly asked someone to bring her a chair.
Clarissa didn't stand on ceremony as she quickly sat down.
Lauren smiled and asked, "It's been nine months, isn't it?"
"That's right."
"You're going to give birth to the baby. Are you afraid?"
To be honest, Clarissa was a little scared.
She used to hear stories about how painful and miserable it was to give birth to a child. Nevertheless, she didn't take it seriously. But now it really came to her, she would be lying if she said she was not scared.
Lauren saw the anxiety that suddenly appeared on her face and smiled. "Of course it won't be easy. But fortunately, when you see that your baby is finally born, you will feel that it's worth it."
Lauren was the mother of a child, so she earned the right to say those words.
Clarissa nodded and smiled at her.
"I hope things will go smoothly when the time comes."
"Everything will definitely go smoothly."
For Old Master Blaine, the more the merrier. Besides, due to his high social standing, almost everyone in the upper class of the Flaucford came.
The entire hotel had been booked, and the guests had filled up all the seats. It was full of joy.
Because of that, Clarissa was in a good mood too, so she ate a few more mouthfuls of dinner.
After the birthday party, she dragged Anderson to take a walk in the backyard of the hotel to help with the digestion.
There were sounds of firecrackers around as they lit up the sky. It was a lively and prosperous scene.
Unexpectedly, not long after they went for a walk, Anderson suddenly received a call from Marty.
As soon as the phone was connected, there was the sound of music blasting. Anderson frowned slightly and put the phone away a little. After it was quieted down, he held the phone back to his ear.
"What's the matter?"
Marty's excited voice came from the other end of the line, "Anderson, Clarissa, are you still in the hotel? Come to the second floor to play."
The first floor of the hotel was a hall, the second floor was a huge bar, and the third floor and the fourth floor were the restaurants.
Because the bar was well soundproofed, even if the bar was downstairs, they couldn't hear anything in the restaurants.
Anderson said indifferently, "You're at the bar again?"
Marty laughed heartily. "That's right. Didn't we just finish eating? Someone was in a bad mood and had asked me to have a few drinks with him, so came. Where are you? Come and hang out with us."
Anderson refused directly, "No, I can't."
"Alas, don't do that! It's not easy for you to come out. Come and relax."
Anderson replied with no expression on his face, "Too much noise."
"Okay, let's go to a quiet place to drink tea, okay? Let's go upstairs to the tearoom."
Anderson was speechless.
In the end, Anderson gave in and agreed to join him.
Anderson turned to look at Clarissa next to him and asked, "Marty asked us to go to the tearoom on the sixth floor. Do you want to go? If you don't want to go, I'll take you home first."
Unexpectedly, Clarissa's eyes lit up. She quickly nodded and said, "Okay, I'll go."
In fact, she had slept too much during this time, and basically spent more than half of her day sleeping every day.
Anderson was worried that it was not safe for her to go out due to her conditions now, so he only let her stay at home every day. If she was bored, she would just take a stroll in the backyard.
Even if Clarissa really wanted to go out, she would have to wait for Anderson to accompany her. Anderson wouldn't even feel at ease even David and Nora were the ones who kept her company.
Now that she finally had a chance to go out and have fun, of course, she would not let go of this opportunity.
Seeing this, Anderson nodded and brought her to the sixth floor.
They arrived at the tearoom on the sixth floor. When they opened the door of the private room, they found that not only Marty and Aidan were there, but also Leonardo Berck.
Clarissa was a little surprised and called out, "Leonardo! Is it really you? Why are you here?"
Only God knew how familiar she was with this person.
Leonardo was her idol previously. even Elicia was also one of his fans.
She and Elicia had met each other in one of his fan meetings.
Leonardo looked up at her with slightly darkened eyes.
He then smiled faintly. "Young Madam Jordan, I've heard of you for a long time. Today, I've finally met you in person."
Marty said coldly, "All right, why are you so shy? We practically grew up together and see Anderson as our brother. Young Madam Jordan? Just call her Clarissa!"
Leonardo said nothing.
Anderson did not say anything either. He helped Clarissa to walk over, pulled out a chair for her to sit.
When Leonardo saw how lovey-dovey they were, his eyes darkened slightly.
Marty said, "Anderson, Leonardo is out of love. Hurry up and help comfort him. I'm sick of them being so dull and boring."
Clarissa was a little surprised. She was a little taken aback.
Leonardo was out of love?
"When did this happen?"
"No, that's not the point. The point is, when did he fall in love?" Clarissa thought.
Seeing the look of surprise on her face, Marty snickered and said, "Clarissa, you still don't know, do you? Are you sure that you both work in the same circle?"
Clarissa shook her head.
It was not her fault. Clarissa had been too busy recently and hadn't been paying attention to the gossip news at all. How would she know that he was seeing someone?
"Leonardo has a high school classmate and they have been in a relationship for ten years but refuses to marry him. He is determined to be together with her for a very long time. To his surprise, she ran away and went abroad to get married. Don't you think it's strange?"
Clarissa's mouth widened in shock.
She would never have imagined that such a thing would happen.
Then she turned to look at Leonardo, only to find that he was curled up in the corner of the sofa. His originally gentle and handsome face now had stubble on his chin.
For someone who was relying on his appearance to make a living, he was a little untidy, as if he had lost his soul.
"Who is that woman?"
Leonardo looked up at her but didn't say anything.
Usually, when a man fell out of love, the best way to drown his sorrow was to have a drinking session with his best buddies.
However, Leonardo was allergic to alcohol, so they couldn't drink and could only drink tea.
Just now in the bar, on the surface, Marty was bringing Leonardo there to vent to his sorrow, but in fact, Marty was the only one who had fun. So, Leonardo was already unhappy about it,
Now that he had brought so many people to watch him fall out of love, Leonardo was even more displeased.
