Chapter 998 Separation Is Imminent

After some thought, Anderson introduced Tobias to him.
Although Tobias was a businessman, he might not be able to help much in certain matters.
But after all, he had been doing business in Ashax for so many years, and he was more familiar with the people here than them. He might be able to help in this kind of thing.
Nodded his head, Jara thanked them before he saw them off.
By the time Clarissa and the rest returned to Flaucford, it was already afternoon.
She wanted to invite Sierra and Robert to stay at the Starbay Villa for a while, but she had been rejected by Sierra.
Taking Clarissa's hand, Sierra said with a gentle smile, "Clarissa, thank you. Although I haven't recall anything about the past, I'm not afraid of people now. Compared with the past, I'm much better. It's all thanks to you."
During this period, Clarissa had been accompanying her, trying to use her gentleness and kindness to let her feel that most people in the world were still kind, and no one wanted to hurt her.
Sierra had stayed with her for a long time, so gradually, she relaxed her guard against the outside world.
Right now, even though she would still be afraid if she were to get too close to strangers.
But at least she could have a normal social life. She wouldn't be as nervous as she was when she first arrived at Flaucford. When she met a stranger, she would be so nervous that Robert had to stay with them all the time.
With a smile, Clarissa said, "What do you mean? That's what daughters do. As long as you get better, I will be happier than anything else."
As she spoke, she noticed that they didn't seem to be leaving the airport, so she asked, "Where are you guys planning to go?"
Sierra smiled and said, "We've have stayed in Flaucford for a long time and planned to leave today. We wanted to leave in when we were in Ashax, but I couldn't bear to separate with you, so I flew to the Flaucford with you. But we booked a flight and its about time."
Stunned, Clarissa didn't expect it to be like this.
All of a sudden,  she felt moved and was reluctant to see her off as she held Sierra's hand.
"Why do you want to go back so soon? I don't feel like we've catch up enough."
As she spoke, the corners of her eyes turned red.
At the same time, Sierra's eyes were also turning red, but she knew that she would rather return to the desert than stay in Flaucford.
"It's alright, Clarissa. When you are free in the future, you can come visit me at any time. I'll send you the address we live in. Don't we have WhatsApp? We can contact each other at any time."
Finally wiping away her tears, Clarissa smiled..
"Aright."
After the two came to an agreement, they said goodbye to each other at the airport and left separately.
Since Sierra and and Robert were going to board another flight. and Clarissa and Anderson were leaving the airport, it wasn't convenient for them to send them off. They could only watch for a distance before going on their separate ways.
On the way home, Clarissa was a little upset.
Obviously, Anderson knew what she was thinking. So he took her hand and consoled her, "Don't be sad. After we're done with work for this season, we can travel to the desert. When that time comes, you'll be able to meet Mom again."
Hearing that, Clarissa smiled but let out a sigh immediately after that. .
"I used to think that separation is no big deal, but now I find it really annoying."
Anderson nodded.
"It's indeed quite annoying."
After returning home, Clarissa and Anderson went to the old residence to pick up the kids.
When Anne and Marf, who had not seen their parents for a long time, saw them come back, they were all excited and hugged each other, which somewhat reduced the sadness in Clarissa's heart after the separation.
Matteo knew that Sierra had gone with them this time. After dinner, she talked to Clarissa alone and asked with concern, "How is your mother?"
Clarissa nodded. "She's fine. There's nothing wrong with her health for the time being. It's just that she doesn't remember what happened in the past."
Matteo was aware of her past, so she naturally knew about Sierra's past.
She couldn't help but sigh.
"It's good that she doesn't remember too. As everyone has painful memory in life, not everyone has the privilege to forget. If your mother can't remember anything, that's a blessing too."
In response, Clarissa nodded.
They did not stay in the old residence for too long. After chatting with Matteo for a while, they went home.
Back at Starbay Villa, Clarissa felt a little headache.
Perhaps it was because she had been running around too much today, as she felt a spasm in her head, which was as painful as being pricked by needles.
Seeing that, Anderson was extremely nervous. He wanted to call the doctor over but was stopped by her.
With a smile, Clarissa uttered. "It's not that serious. If we call a doctor over so late at night, we'll wake up everyone. The two children have fallen asleep. Don't worry."
But Anderson frowned. "But your headache..."
"I'm fine. You can massage for me."
As she spoke, she grabbed his hand and placed it on her forehead.
At that moment, Anderson was helpless. Although he was still worried, seeing her insistence, he didn't force her. So he sat down behind her and rest her head on his lap, gently massaging her.
The bedroom was quiet, and neither of them spoke.
The corners of Clarissa's lips curled up. Somehow, she could feel that his fingers that were lightly pressing on her head had indeed reduced her extreme headache.
Seeing that she was tired,  Anderson said in a low voice, "If you're tired, you can sleep for a while. I'll stay here with you."
Clarissa mumbled in agreement.
With him by her side, she really did fall asleep soon after.
It was cold at night. When Anderson saw that she was fast asleep, he stopped moving his hands, and carried her onto the bed, then tucked her in.
After adjusting the temperature of the room, they cuddled into sleep together.
The next day.
When Clarissa woke up, it was already eight o'clock in the morning.
At some point, Anderson had woken up and was currently doing morning exercises downstairs.
The door was pushed open and the kids quietly peeked in through the gap of the door.
When they found that she was awake, they cheered and threw themselves at her.
"Mommy, Mommy, look at the stars I folded."
"Mommy, I don't have school today. Can you play with me?"
Hugging the kids in her arms, Clarissa tapped them on the noses gently.
"You two little brats. You only want me to play with you. Have you finished your homework? Even if there's no school today, you have to finish your homework too. Have you finished them?"
At the mention of study, the kids frowned.
"Mommy, we will do it. Just play with us for a while."
As Clarissa heard their sweet voices, her heart softened as if it had melted into a puddle of water. Seeing that, how could she lecture them?
Hence, she nodded immediately. "Okay, okay, okay. I'll play with you. Now you can get up first. Let's talk about it when I got ready."
When the kids realize that their bargain was a success, they immediately cheered and quickly climbed off her.
After washing up, Clarissa changed her clothes and went downstairs with them.
In the living room downstairs, Anderson had already finished his morning exercise.
