Chapter 253 Lara Disappeared
The night wind blew through the ground, gyrating the leaves slowly to the ground.
The personnel on duty in the security room woke up by the wind with a start.
He looked at his front with sleepy eyes, vaguely seeing a dark shadow running past him, but he couldn't see it again after he blinked.
Did he see it wrong?
He stood up, rubbed his eyes and looked around. After making sure that there was nobody around, he sat down again at ease.
Lara kept running, for fear that the security guard would chase out.
She didn't stop and breathe a sigh of relief until she ran to the road outside.
She stood there and put her hand on her knees. At this moment, she finally had time to think about who released her.
If she didn't see it wrong, a figure walked out when she woke up.
Not surprisingly, this bunch of keys, the mobile phone and the open door were left to her on purpose by that person.
Who was that person?
Why did he do that?
Did he know her?
Lara stood there, and suddenly realized that she had escaped from jail. Was she an escaped prisoner?
It shouldn't be. She had not been convicted, but just temporarily detained.
However, she still felt uneasy in heart.
After all, Chloe had just asked her to stay in the police station, and they would find a way to save her.
But she had run out on her own, and it would be hard for her to explain to Chloe.
Lara was really scared at this time. Just now, she ran out consciously. At this time, she realized that even if she was not a prisoner, she had done a terribly wrong thing!
What should she do?
Go back?
No!
It would be harder to explain if she went back.
She closed her eyes, only to feel that her tempers throbbed painfully because of the cold wind. Her mind was in a mess and she didn't know what to do.
At this moment, the phone dinged.
She was taken aback for a moment and saw a message when she had a look.
With a nervous heart, she clicked it with her fingertips trembling slightly.
It was a picture of a beach by the sea. In the picture, Clarissa wore a long dress and was smiling brightly in the sunshine.
On the back of the photo, there was an address, which was indeed the address of Peaceland.
Lara's eyes widened in shock.
Clarissa? Was she on the island?
No wonder she couldn't find her in Visstead no matter how hard she tried.
It turned out that she had left Visstead long ago!
This d*mn b*tch!
Lara gritted her teeth with anger, but then she was wondering who sent her this message.
The sender was an email address. If that person deliberately wanted to hide his identity, it should be impossible for her to find him just by this address.
She frowned.
But no matter who that person was, since he sent her the photo, he didn't mean to hurt her.
After all, everyone knew how important Clarissa's whereabouts was to her!
Thinking of this, Lara sneered.
She thought, "Clarissa, just wait and see!"
"Do you want to frame me? I will go over and expose you in person. I'll see how you're going to explain to the media and other people!"
That night, Lara bought a ferry ticket to Peaceland from the black market, planning to find Clarissa there.
She dared not breathe a word of it to anyone.
On the other hand, she escaped from prison. On the other hand, after learning the lessons from the previous things, she was afraid that there would be an accident before she really caught Clarissa.
Therefore, before leaving, she only sent Lena a message and didn't tell anyone else about it.
......
That day, Clarissa was teaching Anne to make clay models when she suddenly received a call from Millie.
She was told that Lena went to Starlight to make a fuss again.
She sighed and felt a little helpless, so she had to ask Lena to answer the phone.
Unexpectedly, as soon as the phone was connected, Lena cursed her severely.
Clarissa frowned and hung up the phone impatiently.
She gave them the opportunity to talk to her under the circumstance that no one else was around them, but it did not mean that she was willing to listen to those meaningless and dirty abuse.
Anne looked her curiously because she hung up the phone soon after answering it.
"Mommy, are you upset? Did someone make you angry?"
Clarissa smiled at her.
"No, there are always cockroaches and bed bugs in this world. We don't like them, but we can't eradicate them. It's okay. Just ignore them."
Anne nodded thoughtfully.
The next second, she said seriously, "I don't like cockroaches and bed bugs either, but don't be afraid, mommy. I have grown up. Next time you meet them again, I will protect you!"
Looking at Anne's serious face, Clarissa chuckled.
"Okay, my Anne is really sweet. Come on, let's continue to make clay models!"
"Okay."
Half an hour later, a simple clay model was completed, and Anne was a little tired, so Clarissa took her to wash her hands and sent her back to her room to rest.
After coming out, she received a call from Millie.
"What's wrong?"
Millie's tone was anxious.
"Clarissa, Lara... is gone."
Clarissa was taken aback and raised her eyebrows.
"What do you mean?"
"She disappeared the night before yesterday. The policemen have been searching for her for a long time but they haven't found her. Lena believes that it was you who took her away. She showed me the text message Lara sent to her before. Lara told her that she had known where you're and would come to find you."
Clarissa frowned slightly.
"Did she tell Lena where I am?"
"No, but this matter is very strange. Lara disappeared in the police station, and the policemen should be responsible for it, so no one dares to make it public now."
"The reporters don't know about it for the time being, and the police withhold this news. Lena searched all the places and couldn't find her, so she came to the company and asked you to tell Lara's whereabouts! "
Clarissa sneered.
"Is Lara precious? Why should I hide her? Tell her directly that I have never seen Lara nor contacted her."
"What's more, there is not much time left for her. As for what I ask her to do, if she thinks it out, let her contact me. If not, you don't have to pay attention to her if she comes again the next time."
Millie nodded, "Okay, I see."
After hanging up the phone, Clarissa frowned and thought for a while. Then she turned on the computer and searched for the news.
As Millie said, the news that Lara had escaped was not spread online.
Chloe had taken someone to make troubles in Starlight, so it didn't matter even though Lena went to make a fuss again.
What puzzled her was that Lara said that she already knew where she was and was about to catch her.
This matter was weird no matter how she thought about it.
Clarissa sat there and was lost in thought quietly, but she couldn't figure it out after thinking for a long time.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door very lightly.
