Chapter 163 The Small Town

Anderson carried the luggage behind, while Clarissa rushed forward happily with her small bag.
After entering the door, she was immediately attracted by the vegetable garden in the yard.
She had seen pictures online and knew that farmers planted their own vegetables here. If they were interested, they could pick vegetables and cook by themselves, like ordinary farmers.
There was also a vegetable market nearby where they could buy meat and seasonings. Clarissa suddenly became more excited.
She had been accustomed to the life of a wealthy family with Anderson, and it was nice to experience the life of an ordinary couple occasionally.
Anderson followed behind her. Seeing how happy she was, he was infected by her excitement, walked more quickly and carried the luggage into the yard.
"Anderson, it is so beautiful here. Go in and take a look. You will love it."
Clarissa went in to have a look, and then ran out and held his arm to please him.
Anderson glanced around. Although it was a bit shabby, it was like an otherworldly sort of place. He nodded.
They went in and put down their luggage. Here was an antique two-storied villa.
Clarissa walked around in the house and ran out again. She was more delighted to see that there were many flowers planted in the back yard.
"The host of this place must be a very carefree and leisurely person."
She ran down, looked at the various flowers and said.
Anderson stepped down the stairs with two glasses of water and handed her one.
"There is also a garden in our house. There are more flowers in our garden and our garden is more beautiful than here, but you never say that I am a leisurely and carefree person."
"Is it the same?" Clarissa rolled her eyes at him.
"You didn't plant those flowers, and it is Pattie who asked someone to trim them. When you are in a good mood, you will walk there and take a look at them. In ordinary times, you don't even bother to look at them. It's not the same at all, okay?"
Anderson knew that she was telling the truth and didn't refute her.
"Are you hungry? Would you like to go out and eat something by the way?"
Clarissa nodded, "Okay."
They went back to the room and both changed their clothes.
The clothes were prepared by Clarissa. She wanted to change him and hoped that this noble president could experience the feeling of how ordinary people having a romance, so she prepared lover's clothes.
Anderson came out after changing his clothes. It was a set of white casual clothes. He looked less stern and more easy-going in the clothes.
Clarissa wore the same clothes as him, but hers was a few sizes smaller than his. She wore her hair in a bun. They looked like a perfect match when they stood together.
Seeing her clothes, Anderson felt warm in heart. He held her hand and walked out together with her.
They planned to eat wherever they went. Not far out of the manor, they saw an exquisite small restaurant.
At this time, there were not many tourists in the town, so the restaurant was somewhat cold and cheerless. But the decoration was exquisite and the environment was elegant, so it still looked attractive.
Clarissa and Anderson walked in and found a place to sit down.
The owner of the restaurant was a middle-aged couple who were in their thirties, and they had a six-year-old son.
Coincidentally, they were also from Ascijan. They settled in this place, because they like the scenery in this small town, .
They opened a restaurant to make some hometown flavors to attract tourists.
The landlady was named Marissa Butler, and she enthusiastically asked them to call her Marissa.
Clarissa was very happy to meet Marissa here and agreed.
Marissa asked them to order, and Clarissa asked her if there were any special dishes.
Marissa introduced some to her. After asking Anderson's opinion, Clarissa ordered three dishes.
Marissa reported the ordered dishes to her husband who was busy in the kitchen, and then came out to chat with them while pouring them water.
They were the only guests in the restaurant, because it was not time for meal yet.
Marissa said enthusiastically, "We cook native dishes here, and I don't know if you will like it. Anyway, the customers who had been here before all said that it was delicious. If you think that the taste is not good enough, just tell me and I'll cook for you again."
Clarissa smiled, "Then you will suffer a big loss today. If it is not delicious, it doesn't matter. But if it's delicious, I will find fault with you in order to eat more."
Marissa waved her hand, "Girl, I don't say this to everyone. You don't look like rascals."
After speaking, she paused, and then winked and said ambiguously, "You are still students, right? You look like a young couple who skipped class and came out to date."
Clarissa blushed and turned to glance at Anderson.
Anderson was good-looking. He had dashing eyebrows and charming eyes, looking so young.
Moreover, he was wearing a set of white casual clothes that day.
He didn't look very indifferent and stern when he came out to play with her, so he really looked like an older boy.
"Marissa, you guess wrong. We are not students."
"Oh, is that so? Haha, this gentleman is very young, and you look like a perfect match, so I thought you were students."
Clarissa felt speechless. She was already twenty four years old, and Anderson was five years older than her. He was soon thirty years old! How could he look like a student...
However, Anderson was very satisfied with Marissa's words, especially when he heard that he and Clarissa were a perfect match.
He looked much happier and ordered two bottles of drinks. He didn't drink those, so he pushed them to Clarissa and asked her to drink one of them when they went out to play later.
Seeing that Marissa was so kind, Clarissa smiled and asked, "Marissa, do you know any interesting places around here?"
"There are a lot of interesting places! Go east and you can walk to the sea. It's very close. The scenery there is the best. The sea is draped in a veil of mist, and you will feel that you're in a wonderland. If you go north, you can see the mountain, and there is a temple on the mountain. I heard that if you make a wish there, your wish can really come true."
"Almost everyone tourist who came here will go there and take a look. Many young couples used to go on a date there. If you want to go there, you can wait until tomorrow. It's a bit late today. It will took at least half a day to get to the top of the mountain from here."
"Oh, by the way, I heard that there will be a meteor shower tomorrow, right?" Clarissa asked with interest.
Before she came here, she searched lots of strategies online and checked the weather forecast. It was said that there would be a meteor shower here.
"Meteor shower?" Marissa frowned, and then shook her head, "I don't know. If you want to see it, you can go and have a look. Anyway, there are a lot of interesting places on the mountain. No matter there will be a meteor shower or not, you can go and play."
Clarissa nodded in agreement.
At this time, the dishes were served. Marissa didn't disturb them anymore, and took her son to do his homework.
Although this restaurant was small, the dishes were really delicious.
Although it was not as exquisite and expensive as a ritzy restaurant, it made people feel at home and the atmosphere here was especially warm.
