Chapter To Seek the Truth

Someone had told her that Anderson had a deeper identity and background.
However, she had never been aware of these things before.
Not knowing if she was thinking too much, sometimes, she always felt that she couldn't see through him.
Although she clearly knew that he loved her very much and would never hurt her, she just felt that she did not fully understand his heart.
She would never forget that one afternoon, she was sitting in front of the french window in the living room, drinking tea and reading a book. She didn't know how long did Anderson start standing at the door.
When she felt it, she turned around and saw that he was looking at her.
However, his gaze was extremely strange. It was as if he was looking at her, but it also seemed like his gaze penetrated through her, looking into a very deep place, or at someone who was far in a distance.
She knew that she shouldn't think too much about it. After all, everyone in the world knew that he loved her.
Somehow, she couldn't help it. Every time when she recalled that moment, she felt that the gaze was like a shackle, which was heavily locked in her heart, dragging her, and it made her very tired.
She didn't want to ask him because she didn't have a reason. How could she ask him over a gaze?
But she knew that he must have hidden something from her. It was her sixth sense as a woman—her intuition.
She had no way to ask and dared not to look into it.
Putting aside the fact that the moment she started to investigate, he would find out immediately. Even if she did manage to find out something, it would be alright if it was good news, but if it was bad news, what should she do?
At the end of the day, Clarissa was just afraid.
Because she cherished this hard-earned happiness very much, she didn't want this peaceful and loving life to be ruined again.
Therefore, she chose to pretend that she knew nothing and felt nothing.
This time, she finally made up her mind to investigate the truth of what happened during her coma when she was rescued from the sea nine years ago.
The reason why she didn't tell him was because of the strange feelings she had before.
She had a feeling that there wouldn't be any good results if she told him about it.
This was her intuition. She had no other explanation.
Thinking of this, Clarissa had been silent for a long time, without speaking.
Seeing this, Nora did not say anything else, and she only let out a sigh softly.
Soon, the car arrived at the hotel and the two got off. After returning to their room, Clarissa called Jara directly.
It was now six o'clock in the afternoon, but it was already midnight at Jara's place.
When the phone was connected, the voice on the other end of the receiver was a little confused, with the faint anger of being woken up.
"Hello."
"I won the championship."
At that moment, Clarissa didn't care whether he was sleeping or not.  Jara usually didn't care about her feelings anyway. Now she just wanted to take revenge on him.
There was a rustling sound on the other end of the phone. It seemed that he got up.
Only then did she hear his clearer voice.
"You got it? Take a picture of the trophy for me to see."
Stunned, Clarissa sneered upon hearing that. "What? You don't believe in my ability? Are you afraid that I'll lie to you?"
Jara smiled, "I trained you myself. If I don't believe you, it means that I don't believe myself. Alright, don't talk nonsense, hurry up and send me the photo."
Hearing that, Clarissa pursed her lips. Although she didn't know why he wanted a photo of it at this time, she had no choice but to take a photo and send it to him as instructed.
Without hanging up the phone, she took the photo and sent it over, then put the phone back to her ear and said, "Have you seen it? It's real. Although the process is a bit dramatic, the trophy is real. If you still don't believe it, I will go back to Sapleusia tomorrow and hand it to you personally."
On the other end, Jara's deep voice was heard. "No need, this photo is enough."
Upon hearing that, Clarissa frowned.
The more she thought about this man, the stranger she found him to be.
However, she was too lazy to think too much. After all, Jara had always been a strange person.
Then, she said coldly, "Now you can tell me what I want to know!"
But Jara was silent for a moment.
Moments later, he asked, "Do you really want to know?"
In response, Clarissa snorted. "I've done so much, and it was all fake?"
Hearing that, Jara chuckled, "I'm just kindly reminding you that most truths in this world are unpleasant. Sometimes, it's good to live muddle-headedly, and it's painful to know the truth."
Suddenly, Clarissa was stunned.
Inexplicably, she felt a little uncomfortable, but she gritted her teeth and said coldly, "Don't talk nonsense, say it quickly!"
Helplessly, Jara sighed, and he didn't know why he was sighing like this.
"Well, since you insist, I'll tell you. But don't blame me for not reminding you later."
"Jara!!!"
Her impatient roar interrupted his words.
With a smile, Jara said seriously, "At that time, I happened to go fishing with a group of friends. You knew that I know a big group of rich kids in F Country. Normally, during our free time, we would go out to the sea and have some fun. It was the same on that day."
"As a result, I came up with a bad idea when I didn't manage to catch anything for a long time and the others had caught something, I felt annoyed."
"Out of angry, I threw a bomb into the sea, trying to blow out the fish. In the end, the fishes didn't come out, but you did."
When Clarissa heard that, she was completely speechless.
What did that mean?
What did he mean that he had blown her up?
Immediately, Jara seemed to realize the question marks in her head and hurriedly explained with a smile, "It's like this. At that time, the explosion made a muffled sound in the water. I thought that there must be fish this time, so I  cast out a net to catch it. In the end, somehow the net was so heavy that I couldn't even lift it with one hand. I was shocked at that time and thought that I was so lucky that I caught a shark."
"So I called a few people to help me out. As a result, I didn't see a shark, but the more I looked at it, the more it looked like a human."
"Later, when the net was retrieved, it was indeed a human. Err... By the way, I might have to say sorry to you. Maybe you were just floating on the sea at that time and did not suffer any serious injuries. However, when I threw the bomb, it blew up around you, which caused you to be injured."
"Afterwards, I seriously suspected that the bomb I threw might be the reason you lost your memory but not those people."
The more Clarissa listened, the tighter she clenched her teeth.
She could almost imagine his smug tone when he said the last sentence.
If Jara was right in front of her, she would have pounced on him and bit him.
However, she managed to suppress the fire in her in the end.
Then, she asked, "Then?"
"Then? It's like what I told you before. I thought you're pretty, so I brought you back to the base. I was going to take care of you as my little wife. Tsk, What a pity! We don't have the fate to be together. In the end, you were kidnapped by someone else."
