Chapter 24 His Wife
"Anderson, the president of the Jordan Group has arrived!"
The noisy crowd suddenly made a way for Anderson naturally. Everyone turned their heads in surprise and saw a tall and straight man slowly walking in.
Clarissa's body trembled violently and she opened her eyes wide.
Anderson walked quickly, and his paces were fast but not hasty. His eyebrows were dashing and his eyes were like stars. His dark pupils were like black jade, shining with cold light. He looked so stern and indifferent, making people feel a little scared.
He was followed by David and several bodyguards in black. These bodyguards all stood at the door and didn't come in.
David passed the gift in his hand to a servant in the Chapman family before following Anderson inside.
"Anderson! It's really him. Why is he here?"
Someone among the guests muttered in a low voice. Only then did the other guests come to sense. They were all shocked.
Most of the people who came here were people with high status in society. Maybe they had never seen Anderson personally, they had seen him in magazines and on TV.
Therefore, almost everyone knew Anderson.
He was the heir of the Jordan family and the real controller of the Jordan Group!
What's more, he was the founder of Energence International Crop which was developing so fast recently!
Why was he here?
Chloe was the first one to react. She was so happy and went to greet Anderson in a hurry.
"Mr. Jordan, I'm so honored that you're here! Come in!"
Seeing this, Gianni and Lena also stepped forward and smiled at Anderson.
"Mr. Jordan, I didn't know that you would come here. I'm afraid I have been a poor host!"
The Chapman family invited Anderson just because of politeness.
Everyone knew that although Anderson come to Visstead recently, he did not participate in any social activities. No one could really invite him.
Many people wanted Anderson to attend their parties, but they all failed. So the people in the Chapman family naturally did not think that they would be an exception.
Unexpectedly, he actually came!
Chloe and others were overjoyed, and Clarissa was very excited.
"Anderson, save me!"
She opened her mouth and said silently.
Matthias's face changed when he noticed her mood.

He reached out his hands and Clarissa fell into his arms.

"Huh? Isn't that Clarissa? How dare she... touch Anderson?"
Everyone knew that Anderson hated women the most!
In the past few years, no one had heard that he had a girlfriend. Some people even sent many beautiful ladies to his bed in order to please him. But he not only didn't touch those women, but also stopped his cooperation with those people!
It was impossible... for Anderson to like a woman!
Those present who loved Anderson but didn't dare go forward were all shocked when they saw this.
Then they became furious.
They thought, "Damn it! Clarissa is too shameless!"
"Her boyfriend is still here. How dare she seduce another man? Does she want to die?"
Clarissa was held by Anderson. As she smelled the familiar fragrance on his body, she almost cried out of joy.

Anderson's eyes turned slightly cold.

He reached out and patted Clarissa's thin back. Then he raised his head slightly and looked at those people coldly.
Matthias had walked to him quickly. When he saw that Clarissa was in Anderson's arms, his expression changed.
Chloe also got scared. She was afraid that she would offend Anderson, so she explained in a hurry.
"Mr. Jordan, I'm really sorry. This is my granddaughter. She is drunk and forgets herself. I will ask someone to pull her away immediately."
Then she snapped, "Matthias, can't you watch your own girlfriend? How could she throw herself to another man in front of so many people?"
Matthias stepped forward and said in a cold voice, "Clarissa, come here! Don't wrinkle Mr. Jordan's clothes!"
Clarissa remained motionless in Anderson's arms. When Chloe saw this, she frowned.
She sighed and seemed to be very helpless.
"My granddaughter... Alas! It's all my fault! She usually gets drunk outside. But today she actually behaves like this... Alas! Please don't mind! Matthias, go over and pull her back!"
Just as Matthias was about to walk to Clarissa, Anderson suddenly spoke in a grim voice.
"How dare you touch her!"

Anderson sneered apathetically and looked at Chloe who was opposite him, "Mrs. Chapman, do you mean who is her boyfriend?"

Anderson sneered.
