Chapter 72 The Man In The Dark
The man standing in the dark glanced at him coldly.
He immediately shut up. He opened his eyes wide in surprise and stared at Jameson in disbelief.
His finger, which had been pointing at Jameson, trembled slightly. Then he withdrew his hand quickly.
"Jameson, nice to meet you."
In a corner that no one was paying attention to, he actually bowed to Jameson obediently.
Jameson said in a cold tone with indifferent eyes.
He opened his thin lips and said in a grim voice, "Get out!"
When the man was about to leave, he suddenly stopped him.
"Wait a minute!"
The man turned around with a bitter face and was scared.
"Jameson, I really didn't bump into you on purpose. If I knew you were here, I would definitely make a detour..."
Jameson interrupted him impatiently. He looked at the stage direction and his eyes darkened.
"Alright, this is not what I want to say. You are not allowed to tell anyone that you see me here tonight. Do you understand?"
The person was startled. He didn't seem to understand why Jameson would say this, but he agreed obediently.
Jameson waved his hand and let him leave.
Jameson had graduated from Wildridge High School for five years, but his story circulated in the school.

At the backstage, Lauren was changing her clothes.
Just now, when she was performing on the stage, she was dressed in a traditional Chinese suit. She had to change back into the evening gown for attending the party.
Clarissa waited for her at the door. After Lauren changed clothes, they went to the hotel together hand in hand.
The school anniversary was divided into two sections, the performance and the red carpet were just one of them, and it only lasted for an hour and a half.

Clarissa and Lauren took their room cards at the reception. They went back to their rooms before going to the banquet hall.

Clarissa respectfully handed her name card to Teddy. Teddy took it and have a look. His attitude was indifferent.
"Starlight? I heard that someone has bought it. It turned out to be you. What's the matter?"
This kind of occasion was used to know more noble people, and few men would talk about business here.
Obviously, Teddy asked this question because he didn't want to know anyone.
If the principal didn't ask him to come, he might not came here.
Clarissa didn't get angry and said with a smile, "I know that you don't like social activities, so I came here for something."
Her straightforwardness surprised Teddy a little.
He looked her up and down and asked, "What's the matter?"
"I heard that you're choosing a female lead for your new movie. Do you have a suitable candidate?"
