Chapter 1075 No Longer Mad

He smiled awkwardly.
Subsequently, Clarissa looked at Anne and asked with concern, "How are you doing in Ascijan? Did you listen to your Great-grandparents?"
Nodding vigorously, Anne replied in a low voice, "We miss you, Mommy. When will you come back?"
As Clarissa looked at the aggrieved and sentimental look in Anne's eyes, her heart melted.
Therefore, she quickly appeased them and said, "Mommy and Daddy will be back tomorrow. Be good and don't be naughty. Don't make Grandpa and Grandma angry. Do you understand?"
Ib response, Anne nodded her head again.
At this moment, Marf came over to join them. He had a tender face and a pair of bright black and bright eyes.
With a robot in his hand, he showed it to her as if it was his treasure.
"Mommy, look, this is a robot that I've assembled. I'll give it to you when you get back."
As Clarissa looked at him, perhaps it was because Marf had inherited Anderson's intelligence that even though Marf was only five years old, he was already able to do a lot of things on his own, including designing robots.
He was very interested in this aspect and was also very talented. Sometimes, his works would amaze adults.
Looking at her son and daughter, Clarissa felt very content.
After chatting with them for a while, she hung up the phone.
Robert and Sierra both knew that it was Anne who called. When they saw that she had hung up, they asked her about the children's situation with a smile.
Clarissa answered their questions one after another. The family was so happy that they didn't leave until midnight.
Anderson had drunk a lot tonight. When he returned to his room, he was already a little drunk.
But, of course, he remembered that Clarissa was pregnant, so he had been holding in and dared not touch her.
Clarissa was complaining about the smell of alcohol on him, so the moment Anderson entered the room, she urged him to take a bath.
After Anderson entered the bathroom, Clarissa dialed Emmeline's number.
Emmeline and Jara left in the afternoon. By now, they should already arrive in Blink City.
Clarissa wanted to make sure that they were safe, then she comforted Emmeline for a while before hanging up the phone.
After a busy day, Clarissa was a little tired.
As soon as she hung up the phone, she fell asleep in bed.
At some point, the bathroom door suddenly opened.
When Anderson came out of the shower, he saw Clarissa lying on the bed with her body tilted to one side. She had already fallen into a deep sleep.
He couldn't help but laugh.
Originally, he wanted to talk to her about the past tonight, but now it seemed that it was unnecessary.
Then, Anderson walked over and bent down to kiss her forehead. Only then did he sleep with her in his arms.
Early in the next morning, Clarissa and Anderson boarded the flight back to Ascijan.
Sierra and Robert were supposed to go back with them as well. This was something that they had agreed upon earlier.
However, due to the unexpected incident, many things were delayed.
There were some things that had yet to be done, so it would take some time for them to arrange.
In the beginning, Sierra had planned to leave with Clarissa and Anderson first.
However, after this incident, she felt that she had to cherish the time when she was with the people she loved, so she decided to stay back for a while. When everything was settled down, she would go with him together.
When Anderson and Clarissa saw this, they didn't try to force it.
After all, it wasn't just Robert and Sierra who had this kind of realization. In fact, they had it as well.
Thus, that day, the two personally saw Clarissa and Anderson off at the airport.
They had been flying for more than seven hours.
By the time they reached Flaucford, it was already the evening.
David had arranged for a car to pick them up and Nora was also in the car. After their journey in the desert, everyone felt as if they were reborn. When they met again, they were very emotional.
When they got home, Anne and Marf were both very excited.
Because the two little munchkins were all brought to the old residence by their great-grandparents, Clarissa and Anderson went straight to the old residence and did not go back to the Starbay Villa first.
The kids knew that they would come back today, so they waited at home on purpose.
Clarissa had just got out of the car, and before she could enter the door, they rushed out and screamed excitedly.
"Daddy! Mommy!"
Clarissa caught them with a smile. Anderson was worried that they would pounce on Clarissa, so he supported her from behind.
Then, he looked at them with reproachfully.
"How big are you already? Still jumping around."
But Anne stuck out her tongue at him, then hugged Clarissa and said intimately, "Mommy, I miss you so much."
Since Clarissa had been away for so long, of course, she missed them, too.
Therefore, with one on the left and one on the right, she held their hands and led them inside.
Great-grandma and great-grandpa were sitting in the living room. When they saw them enter the room, they quickly smiled and asked the servants to pick up their luggage.
"You're back. Do you have a pleasant journey traveling back?"
In response, Clarissa nodded. "It's all good. Nothing happened."
"That's great."
Although they didn't know the full picture of what had happened abroad, they had probably guessed that something happened.
Obviously, they were well aware of Anderson's other identity.
It was just that they had never told Clarissa about it. Therefore, when they saw Clarissa, they couldn't help but feel a little guilty.
"Clarissa, come sit in here with me and let her have a good look at you."
Grinning as Matteo said that to Clarissa.
After letting go of the two munchkins, only then did Clarissa walk over.
As soon as she sat down beside Matteo, Matteo held her hand and sighed. "Were you frightened this time? Are the twins fine?"
Clarissa didn't want Matteo to worry about her, so she responded with a smile and said, "Fortunately, it was only a minor incident. After taking a good rest, I am all good."
Only then did Matteo nod with a lingering fear in her heart.
"As for Anderson's identity, we didn't tell you before because we were afraid that you would be worried when you find out about it. You won't blame us, will you?"
Clarissa was silent for a moment.
At that moment, Anderson and the servants came back with the luggage. He happened to overhear Matteo's words, and his face darkened in an instant.
"Grandma, what are you talking about with Clarissa?"
Matteo looked up at him with a hint of remorse in her eyes.
"What am I talking about? Now that everything is over, can I not say it? It's all your fault! I told you not to get involved with these things back then, but you didn't listen. Do you know how worried we are all these years? I'm afraid that you haven't even thought about it!"
Matteo's words made Anderson's handsome face darkened further.
Seeing that, Clarissa couldn't help but burst into laughter.
The moment she laughed, the tense atmosphere came back to normal.
She chuckled and said, "Grandma, Anderson knows that you are worried about him and feels guilty, too. Please don't blame him anymore."
Immediately, Matteo protested.
"Look at you. I was worried about you a second ago, but in the next second, you started to speak for him. You are so bad."
Although Matteo said that, she was actually smiling.
Obviously, she knew that the smile on Clarissa's face showed that she didn't care about the fact that they kept the truth from her before.
Seeing that, Anderson also let out a sigh of relief.
