Chapter 254 Be Trapped On The Boat

Gabriela stood at the door with a small suitcase beside her. Seeing Clarissa turning her head, she smiled and said, "Miss Chapman, did I bother you?"
Clarissa composed her emotions and walked over.
"No."
She looked at the suitcase next to Gabriela and said in surprise, "Are you leaving so soon?"
"Yeah, I am taking a few sets of promotional photos of endorsement products nearby. I learned that Grandma Jordan was here, so I came here temporarily. I can't ask for leave for many days, so I have to go back today."
Clarissa nodded.
"Then I will see you off."
Gabriela shook her head and smiled, "There's no need. I just came here to say goodbye to you. My assistant is waiting for me downstairs. I'll just go down by myself."
Clarissa didn't know if she was being polite on purpose or did not want her assistant to see her with good intentions.
But she didn't insist anymore and nodded.
"Be careful on the way."
"Okay, thank you."
After watching Gabriela leave, Clarissa remembered the question just now.
The reason why Lara escaped and sent such a message to Lena should be that she had received some news.
Who passed the news to her?
Gabriela?
Clarissa didn't think so.
After all, Gabriela was the only one who knew that she was in Peaceland except for the Jordan Family.
If Lara knew that she was here, Gabriela would be the prime suspect. But Clarissa didn't think that she would do it, because she wanted to remain a good image in Matteo's and Anderson's hearts.
Who the hell was that?
Moreover, since Lara had known that she was on Peaceland, and it only took a few hours to come here from Visstead.
Why hadn't she arrived yet? She even disappeared for no reason.
What on earth had happened?
Clarissa only felt that there was a cloud of mist shrouded in front of her, and her mind was in a mess. She couldn't figure out what had happened.
Fortunately, only Lara was missing at the moment, and nothing else had appeared.
She could only be on the alert, but make no move and see what would happen next.
Thinking like this, Clarissa didn't think too much and went out to find Anne.
At the same time.
In the cold and damp cabin, Lara woke up in a daze.
Her head was still dizzy, and it was hard for her to open her sleepy eyes. After finally opening her eyes, all she saw was darkness.
There was a ray of light coming in not far away, and she could vaguely see a figure moving.
Where was she?
She thought unconsciously. She remembered that she got hungry after boarding the boat, so she ate some supper prepared on the boat, and then she seemed to fall asleep.
Then…
Lara frowned and couldn't remember what happened next clearly.
She gradually thought of something. It seemed that she was moved around in a daze, and was finally locked in a dark room.
No way!
Lara woke up in an instant and jumped up from the ground subconsciously.
It was dark all around. There was a door that was not completely closed in front her. Some light came in through the door.
Her hands were tied behind her back, and her feet were also tied. There was a wooden floor under her body, and it smelled damp and salty. The wind was whimpering in her ears. It seemed that she was on a boat.
On a board?
Lara was slightly startled when she realized this, and her wrists hurt because of she was tied so tightly.
She frowned and struggled to break free a few times. Instead of getting ride of the rope, she wrapped her wrists more and more painfully.
She got a little desperate as she pursed her lips and moved in the direction of the door with difficulty. With that ray of light, she saw the figure outside through the crack of the door.
That figure... was so familiar!
She seemed to have seen the person before.
Under the moonlight, the figure turned around and was walking towards her.
She was wearing light blue casual clothes and there was a silver mask on her face. Lara couldn't see her face clearly.
But she could see that this woman was tall, and she was neither fat nor thin. She walked with her back straight and her head held erect naturally, and her steps were neat. She couldn't be an ordinary person.
Lara's face turned slightly pale. Noticing that the woman was coming towards her room, she went back to sit where she woke up in a hurry.
The cabin door was opened with a creak.
The woman was a little surprised when she saw that Lara had woken up.
"I added lots of drug in your food, and I thought that you wouldn't wake up until tomorrow morning. It seems that you are quite strong."
Her voice was crisp and her tone was a little indifferent. Judging from her voice, she was not old.
Lara endured the fear in her heart and asked in a trembling voice, "Who are you?"
"Do you think I will tell you?"
Lara was stunned.
The woman walked around her and said, "Don't worry. I won't do anything to you. I will just let you stay here for a period of time. Naturally, someone will bring you food and drinks every day, and you will not be treated badly."
"I will naturally let you go at the right time, so I hope you an be obedient and don't think about escaping during this period of time, otherwise I can't guarantee what will happen to you. Do you understand?"
Lara was furious.
She obviously came out to find Clarissa, but she got kidnapped!
She suddenly remembered something and looked at the woman.
"Did you give me the phone and send me the message?"
She thought that the woman would deny it, but she nodded.
"Yes."
Lara's opened her eyes wide instantly.
"You lied to me?"
"I didn't lie to you. Clarissa is indeed on Peaceland, but I can't let you find her now, because I need you to do something more important for me."
Lara couldn't understand what she was talking about.
"What do you want me to do?"
"I said that I want you to stay here for some time. Don't worry. I won't hurt you."
"You tied me up! Aren't you hurting me?"
"I have to do this because I'm afraid that you'll run away."
As the woman said this, she suddenly sighed.
"Actually, I don't want this, but I have no other way. You have family members who love you so much, but why do you want more so greedily?"
"But I can understand. As the saying goes, men struggle upwards! Even if it's not something that belongs to you, as long as there's a chance, you want to fight for it, right?"
"So I don't blame you. I tied you up because I don't want you to do things that I hate!"
"I will only lock you for three days. Three days later, you can go everywhere you wan and I don't bother to care about you."
"Moreover, don't worry. In order to compensate for your losses, I will help you find the person you are looking for so that we will not owe each other anything."
Lara went off the deep end.
What did she mean by saying that?
The reason why she didn't contact anyone and came to Peaceland by boat that night was that she wanted to catch Clarissa while she was unprepared.
But she was going to be trapped here for three days?
