Chapter 234 Save Herself
On the sofa in the living room, Nora and Pattie were sitting there.
Nora looked regretful. Clarissa had told her the whole plan, but she didn't expect that she would actually lose sight of Clarissa.
Pattie didn't expect that Clarissa would have an accident.
The door of the living room was pushed open, and Anderson appeared at the door with an anxious face.
"Mr. Jordan!"
"Mr. Jordan!"
The two immediately stood up together.
Anderson glanced at them with sharp eyes coldly, and then walked into the house.
"Where are the surveillance videos?"
"Mr. Jordan! This is the result that I found out ten minutes ago. Mrs. Jordan should have been taken away by a gray taxi."
"Now I have hacked into the surveillance system of the whole city, but I haven't found the car yet."
Anderson took the iPad and took a look with aloof eyes.
Nora wanted to say something else, but Anderson suddenly got up and walked outside.
Her eyelids twitched and she quickly followed him.
"Mr. Jordan, I will go with you."
A few minutes later.
The car was driving fast on the road.
In the car, Anderson took a map and marked the possible directions nearby where the car might have gone.
"Nora, take someone to the southeast, and you must pay special attention to the relatively remote buildings along the way. They couldn't kidnap Clarissa in crowded areas because it was easy to attract people's attention. They must have a private and quiet place."
"Moreover, remember that they were likely to change the cars halfway. In addition to that car, you should pay attention to other cars on the way."
"What's more, call the doctor and ask him to get ready at any time. It has been several hours since she disappeared, so she is likely to be injured."
"I will go to the southwest! Contact me if you have any news."
Anderson gave the order calmly and quickly. Nora nodded, got out of the car and drove another car to the southwest.
Anderson's phone rang, and it was a call from Pattie.
Anderson frowned and suddenly felt a little impatient.
"What's wrong?"
"Mr. Jordan, well... Shall we call the police?"
He paused.
"You haven't called the police yet?"
"Not... yet!"
"Call the police now!"
"Huh? Oh."
After hanging up, Anderson sat on the seat and looked forward, sneering with harshness and cruelty.
"Lara, you'd better not be the one who kidnaps her!"
"Otherwise, I will let you suffer a life which is worse than death!"
......
When Clarissa woke up, she found that she was still alive.
She felt lucky. But the next second, when she saw where she was clearly, she blurted out obscenities.
"D*mn it! Where the f*cking is here?"
She saw steep cliffs all around, and she was hanging on a branch that was about to break in the air. Under her feet was the stormy sea.
Obviously, although she didn't drop to her death, she was about to die.
The branch was so thin and it was almost broken because of her weight. As long as she moved, she would fall into the sea.
The water was splashing and wet her trousers. She could smell the salty tang of the sea.
Alas!
She didn't know if this was called shooting herself in the foot.
If she had known that Lara would attack her so quickly, she should have let Nora follow her a little more closely.
Then she wouldn't have to suffer all these.
Clarissa sighed, feeling a little frustrated for her failure.
She looked around, but didn't see anywhere that she could stay.
Fortunately, there was a relatively large protruding sharp stone above her. She reached out and touched it. It was very stable and it should be able bear her weight.
Therefore, she moved carefully little by little, grabbed the stone tightly with both hands, and then left the branch and hung in the air.
She felt painful on her arms because she needed to use great strength to support herself.
She gritted her teeth. Fortunately, she had learned rock climbing aboard and had some arm strength.
But it was really impossible for her to climb up the stone. Besides, according to her current physical strength, it was not suitable to do so.
Thinking about this, she took a deep breath and looked around again. Then she found that there was a big rock not far from her left hand.
It seemed that she could have a short break there.
But the rock was too far, and she couldn't get there in this posture.
After thinking about it, she grabbed the stone with one hand, and quickly untied her belt with the other.
Fortunately, she wore a leather belt to match her clothes that day.
It was of good quality and wouldn't be broken, and it was long enough to be folded together to entrap the rock.
Clarissa took a deep breath, blinked and suppressed the anxiety and panic in her heart.
She grabbed the belt tightly with great strength and swung forward with force.
The huge tearing force almost tore her two arms apart, but she held on. Her body swayed gently in the air.
Seeing how far she was from the cliff, she knew that her strength was not strong enough.
Her only way was to use the strength of her waist and swing herself onto the cliff.
As long as she could stand on something, she could untie the rope and escape from this d*man place so that she could really survive.
But at this moment, her palm suddenly hurt.
It was extremely painful, as if it had been torn apart by something.
Clarissa's face turned pale, and she looked up with difficulty.
She saw the blue sky above her head. It was early morning, and a thin layer of mist was floating in the air.
However, there were two shocking bloodstains in her palm. It seemed that her palm was scratched when she used strength just now.
She was taken aback and then noticed that there was a buckle on the belt in her palm. The edge of the buckle was very sharp. It was a piece of metal because it was of the punk style, and it had a silvery sheen under the sun.
She gritted her teeth, trying to tear off the buckle.
But how could she have so much strength?
At this time, she couldn't help but complain that the quality of these luxurious brands was so good. It was obviously a buckle that was sewn on, but she couldn't pull it off no matter how hard she tried.
She sighed helplessly, and she had never thought that she would be in such a dilemma one day.
Should she continue to save herself or stop and wait for someone to discover her?
She had lost her mobile phone and and the smart band, so she would resign herself to her fate if she waited for someone to save her.
She still had a little strength. Although it was dangerous to save herself, as long as she was lucky and could be treated in time, she might not bleed to death.
But if she continued to wait here, not to mention if her strength could last until that time, no one would know that she was tied here because the cliff was more than ten meters high.
Therefore, instead of trusting to luck, she wanted to have a try.
Since god didn't let her die in that baseroom, he would definitely not let her die here.
Clarissa had never been a person who was willing to wait, and she never resigned herself to death.
So, after thinking about it clearly, she used strength again and swung towards the other side of the cliff.
