Chapter 14 She Quit
Lara was a first-line star. She attracted wide publicity and she was good at acting. She could be said to be a money-spinner.
Everyone was very happy that she was willing to sign with Twilight.

"In other words, now we have no enemy except for Energence International Crop. As for how powerful Energence International Crop is, you must know it clearly and don't need me to explain it to you."
"To compete with such a company, we not only need strong ability and quick reaction speed, but also a profound understanding of this industry and a wide range of contacts."
"But what we need happened to be what Clarissa lacked the most. No matter how capable she is, she only has two years' experience. So Mr. Duncan hires me because he wants me to help Clarissa manage the public relations department. She doesn't have a thorough understanding and a wide range of connections, but I have. That's all."
