However, there was nothing Anthony could do. He could only nod helplessly in the end.
"Okay, I see."
Then, he stood up, walked to her, and reached out his hand to her.
"In that case, I wish you well. Don't worry; I won't be the same as before. We're still friends."
Evelyn stood up as well when she saw this.
Her face then burst into a genuine smile.
Holding his hand, she said, "Yes, you're my good friend."
At this moment, Anthony suddenly pulled her in and gave her a gentle hug.
His shoulders were broad, and he exuded a sense of warmth that put people at ease.
Evelyn's body was slightly stiff, but Anthony did nothing else. He only hugged her gently.
After a long while, he said, "Well, I wish you happiness."
Only then did Evelyn's tense body relax, and she smiled slightly.

Anthony left first because he needed to shoot the next scene soon. As for Evelyn, she could rest now as her scene was scheduled later.
Later, Carrie came in after Anthony left. She looked around and found that there was no one else in the lounge except for Evelyn. She breathed a sigh of relief and walked in with ease.
"Evelyn, how are things going? Have you spoken to Anthony?"
Evelyn nodded and asked Carrie to pour her some honey water. While drinking, she said, "Anthony is a smart person. He understands what I'm saying and will not continue going after me."

Evelyn smiled and said, "Yes, you. Are you willing to help me with this?"

"Sure, no problem."
After that, Evelyn smiled and waved Carrie goodbye.
She then lay on the chair, looking at Carrie's back, and said with a smile, "Silly girl, I have already created the opportunity for you. It is entirely up to you whether or not you seize this opportunity."
In fact, Evelyn was aware that Carrie's family background was not as impressive as the Cole family's.
However, she also knew that Carrie was not a snob. She would not like Anthony for his identity and family background.

Later, the shoot didn't come to an end until six in the evening.
Anthony had no more scenes tonight, so he could relax later. On the other hand, Evelyn had a night scene and needed to wait at the filming site. She would continue to film immediately after dinner.
Before Anthony left, he looked at Evelyn a little hesitantly.
Evelyn sensed he had something to say, so she pointed to a nearby corner and said, "Let's talk over there."
Anthony agreed.
Then, they went to a quiet corner. "Did you ask Carrie to give it to me?" Anthony asked as he took something from his pocket.
Evelyn took a look at the item.
It was a pair of red customized Bluetooth headsets. Not only that, but it was also lovely and of high quality.
