Coby took a breath and paused for a moment.
"I heard you and Anderson had been married for five years?" he remarked with a faint smile.

Clarissa's expression abruptly shifted after hearing his words.

Coby approached her, squatted down, and looked calmly into her eyes. "Do you believe me if I tell you that the person who chased you and caused you to fall into the water ten years ago was Anderson?" he questioned.
In an instant, Clarissa's face grew pale.
Coby looked at her solemnly. Although they didn't say anything, their gazes met and carried a lot of messages.
Shaking her head, Clarissa then murmured, "Impossible! It can't be him! Don't try to lie to me!"
Coby giggled. He was not surprised by her reaction at all.
"Believe it or not, I'm the only one who knows this secret. We'll make a deal if you're interested. You don't have to give me an answer right now. I'll give you a day to think about it. You can come to me afterward."
After saying that, he got up and walked away.
Clarissa sat there, her face pale and her entire body cold.
