Chapter 407 Call Him Hubby

Clarissa gritted her teeth and said with hatred, "You're not allowed to kiss me at will in the future."
After a pause, she added, "Especially after a meal."
Anderson smiled, and there was some evilness in his eyes. "I'll deal with you at night."
His words made Clarissa's face turn even redder. She pushed him away, feeling extremely embarrassed and annoyed. "I don't want to talk to you anymore."
After that, she turned around and ran out.
Anderson's eyes softened as he looked at Clarissa who had walked out of the room with shame and anger. He reminded her, "Slow down."
However, Clarissa ignored him. She slammed the door shut and disappeared at the door.
Two days later, Anderson finally finished his work and took out a week's leave to keep Clarissa company.
Clarissa had done some research. The Hampden family's headquarters was now in F Country. And before Mark returned to Ascijan, the last place he stayed was in F Country. So she decided to go over there to investigate.
Fortunately, the members of the Lost Vanguard were very concerned about Mark's death.
So when she went over there, she could get a lot of help.
However, when it came to her real identity, Clarissa and Anderson both tacitly chose to conceal it. Even Old Master Levine wasn't willing to say anything about it, so they naturally wouldn't tell it to anyone.
However, Marty's birthday was on the night before they left.
They had agreed to get together. As the flight they had booked was on the next day, Clarissa and Anderson agreed.
That morning, Anderson brought Clarissa to the jade mine.
Clarissa didn't know until now that Marty, who loved to muck around, turned out to be obsessed with jade wares.
They came to a store with simple decorations. There were all kinds of jade wares in it, but Anderson did not look at them and walked directly to the back of the store.
The store assistants in the store seemed to know him and did not stop him.
Walking through the back of the store, they met a boy of 18 or 19 years old. He smiled and asked, "Is it Mr. Jordan? Master has been waiting for you in the room."
Anderson nodded and pulled Clarissa inside.
It seemed to be a heritage building, which was rarely seen in the southern cities like Visstead, but it was very common in Flaucford.
After passing through the gate, they entered a courtyard with a myriad of plants and a stone pavilion inside. An old man in his 60s was sitting in the stone pavilion, examining a piece of green jade.
"Anderson, you're here. Come here quickly."
He waved to them. When the two of them walked over, they saw that the old man was holding a completely translucent piece of jade in his hand. He was holding it in his palm while caressing it.
Anderson asked, "Xavier, is this the one that is just found from the mine?"
The old man sitting at the table nodded. He seemed to be very satisfied with it.
"After so many years of mining for jades, this is the most perfect piece. Alvin, look at its color and transparency. Have you ever seen something like this in your life?"
The other old man sitting opposite him was obviously not very interested in these things. He smiled and said, "Yes, every. Well, since Anderson is here, you can talk first. I'll go out for a walk."
As he spoke, he got up and walked out.
Xavier ignored him and asked Anderson directly, "What are you doing here today?"
Anderson said, "Xavier, I'm here today to buy jade."
Xavier glanced at him and asked, "Which one?"
He knew that Anderson obviously would not be into anything displayed in his store. He would only buy things that were from Xavier's private collection.
At the thought of another quality piece of jade was about to be taken away by him, his heart ached.
Anderson's eyes swept across the uncarved piece of jade on the table.
"This one?"
Xavier jumped right away. He picked up that piece of jade and held it close to him as he shouted, "Don't even think about it!"
Anderson was not in a hurry. He said nonchalantly, "Anthony said last time that he saw you and that woman called... Jenny at a hotel. I don't know if it's true. It looks like I'll have to go and check it out."
Xavier's eyes widened right away.
On the other side, Alvin, who had not gone far, heard this and immediately turned around.
"Hey, you're still in contact with Jenny? Look like you haven't learned your lesson from Molly?"
Molly was Xavier's wife.
Xavier held the jade, and his beard was shaking with anger. "Anderson, stop talking nonsense. The relationship between Jenny and I, it is not what you think!"
Anderson raised his eyebrows. "I know, but I can't guarantee that Molly will think the same way."
"You little brat!"
Xavier was so angry that he wanted to beat him up, but he reached out his hand and stopped in mid-air.
Finally, he gritted his teeth and put the jade back on the table.
"Eight million. I don't accept anything less!"
He gritted his teeth and offered a sky-high price.
Anderson clapped his hands. "Deal!"
Xavier got up and asked someone to wrap up the green jade and send it to Anderson's villa.
"In the afternoon, I'll send someone to deliver the money to you."
After that, he left with Clarissa.
On the way home, Clarissa didn't understand what Anderson was doing.
She was not a person who would beat around the bushes, so she asked him right away.
"This piece of jade is pretty good, but it's not worth eight million, is it?"
Anderson smiled faintly and said, "Are you worried about money?"
Clarissa pouted. "Not at all. It's not my money anyway."
Anderson reached out to hold her hand. "Why isn't it yours? We're married, and half of all my assets are yours."
Clarissa gave him a fake smile and tugged at the corner of her lips. "Then why did you buy such an expensive jade!"
"In fact, Marty asked me to buy this jade for him."
Clarissa was stunned and a little curious.
"What does he want this piece of jade for?"
Anderson did not answer immediately. Instead, he kept her in suspense. "Take a guess."
Clarissa frowned as her eyes lit up. "He had a crush on someone? He wanted to give it to her as a gift?"
Anderson shook his head.
Clarissa thought about it again. "He is a jade enthusiast, so he wanted to add it to his collection?"
"No, I'm not."
"I don't want to guess anymore, just tell me the answer now!"
Clarissa didn't want to think anymore, so she pestered Anderson coquettishly.
And that obviously made Anderson very happy as the corner of his mouth curled up a little. He stretched out his hand to rub the back of her head and said, "Call me hubby. I'll tell you when you do that."
Clarissa wrinkled her little nose and said discontentedly, "I won't call you that."
Anderson stopped saying anything.
Obviously, if she didn't do as she was told, he would not tell her the truth.
Clarissa was a curious person. Seeing how Anderson did not finish off his sentence, it made her really anxious.
Anderson had taken advantage of this to tease her.
In the end, Clarissa compromised. She held Anderson's arm and said, "Just tell me, or I won't talk to you anymore!"
Anderson shook his head and pulled his arm away a little. "Stop messing around! I'm driving."
"You're so annoying!"
Clarissa was about to throw a tantrum.
However, Anderson still ignored her.
On the other hand, she was tortured by her own curiosity.
Staring at how serious he looked right now, Clarissa pouted and finally called out in a low voice, "Hubby."
