Chapter 126 Agree To Apologize

She stood up, stared at Clarissa with shrewd eyes, and said in a cold tone, "You mother died when you were young, so I can't bear to blame you all the time, but I didn't except you to become so vicious and stubborn!"
"Mr. Duncan and Lara love each other. You are not only jealous of Lara, but also try to ruin their relationship. Besides, you always bully Lara, saying that she has stolen your boyfriend!"
"Clarissa, how can  you be so heartless? Lara has always been nice to you, and she bear disgrace and a heavy burden at home, but what about you?"
"You're arrogant, wilful and unreasonable! What's more, you even beat Mr. Hemsworth and he is lying in the hospital now! What on earth do you want? "
Outside the office, a group of employees who came over to listen to the gossip were a little surprised when they heard the words, and then looked at Clarissa with contempt.
They thought, "President Chapman looks so gentle and reasonable on the surface, and I really didn't except her to be so mean."
"She not only has a sugar daddy, but also wants to steal her sister's rich boyfriend."
"Her family arranged a blind date for her own good, but she actually beat him and caused him to be seriously injured."
"Oh my god! How could she be such a person? She's too shameless and too bad!"
The secrets of the rich families never failed to fascinate.
Employees in the company also liked to gossip.
So many people heard these words, and it would not be long before the news was widely spread in Visstead.
At this moment, a sharp roar suddenly came from behind.
"It's working hours! Don't you need to work? Don you want to be fired?"
Everyone was taken aback and turned around, only to find that it was Millie.
With a straight face, Millie glanced at everyone with sternly cold eyes.
"Go back to your positions to work!"
Everyone left in a hurry.
In the office.
Looking at them who looked smug, Clarissa sneered in heart, but she was chilled to the bone.
She naturally heard the anger outside just now.
Chloe said those words deliberately, because she knew that there were many curious employees outside.
She not only wanted to embarrass her, but also wanted to make everyone believe what she said was true, and Clarissa was just so unforgivable.
They came here to make a fuss because Clarissa went too far and they had no other choices!
After hearing these words, those people outside would spread the news quickly, no matter whether what she said was true or not.
So sometimes, it didn't matter what the truth was.
The important thing was that Chloe was good at acting, and people would believe her without thinking, because she was an elder.
Clarissa sneered silently.
She had seen this trick five years ago.
At that time, Chloe used the power of public opinion to give her a blow, forced her to drop out of school and go abroad. Since then, she could only swallow humiliation and never dared to appear in public.
She was so naive at that time, thinking that as long as she explained it clearly, someone would believe her and she could improve her innocence.
So she tried her best to beg those people to believe her and give her a chance to improve her innocence.
But... she din't realize that they were really so bad until she saw it with her own eyes and experienced those things in person.
They didn't care about justice or truth. In order to achieve their own goals and interests, they could give a false account of the true facts.
They got their benefits by hurting her. Even if she knelt in front of them and begged them, they would not be moved or help her.
Clarissa took a deep breath.
Chloe was still the same as she was five years ago.
She was selfish, ruthless and despicable.
However, she was no longer the fragile and simple Clarissa who could be bullied easily five years ago.
"Chloe, you will regret every word you said today. I promise."
She said coldly word by word, and her indifferent eyes were glinting grimly.
For some reason, Chloe was shocked by her appearance.
She almost had a feeling of fear in her heart for a moment.
How could it be?
No! It was impossible.
She was the hostess of the Chapman family, and everyone in the Chapman family had to listen to her, including Clarissa!
Even her mother, such a powerful character, was killed by her because she didn't listen to her.
Clarissa was just a young girl. How could she give her a lesson?
Thinking of this, Chloe was relieved. Then she said apathetically, "What's wrong? Do you want to threaten me?"
She paused, and finally lost her confidence when she saw Clarissa's detached eyes. She said in a deep voice, "I didn't want you to do anything else. I just want you to go to the hospital with me and apologize to Mr. Hemsworth. Anyway, you hit him, so you should apologize to him!"
Clarissa sneered coldly.
"Okay. Apologize? I'll go with you."
Chloe was stunned again.
Looking at Clarissa's indifferent and mocking appearance, she couldn't tell whether her words were true or not.
"Are you really... willing to go with me?"
"Of course. What's wrong? I agreed, but you dare not go?"
"Of course I dare!"
Chloe frowned slightly.
D*mn it! What was wrong with her that day?
She actually got scared by Clarissa several times. She was much older than Clarissa and had experienced so many things these years. How could she be afraid of Clarissa?
Thinking of this, she gritted her teeth.
"Okay, let's go there now."
After speaking, she walked out first.
Gianni and others naturally followed her quickly.
Lara was the last one to walk out. When she passed by Clarissa, a touch of pride and ridicule flashed across her weak and gentle face.
"Clarissa, I didn't expect you to be able to eat humble pie. I used to think that you have backbone, but it seems that I was wrong! Willy did something like that to you, but you're actually willing to apologize..."
"Tut... Did Anderson really get tired of you and abandon you so that you can't distinguish between good and bad and even want to marry such a man like Willy in a hurry?"
Clarissa glanced at her blandly.
She didn't speak, but she looked at Lara as if Lara was an idiot.
Normal people didn't want to talk nonsense with idiots, because... it was meaningless!
Lara had never been stared at like this, and she went berserk.
She gritted her teeth. After a while, she took a deep breath to suppress the anger in her heart and sneered.
"Clarissa, I just want to remind you kindly. Be careful! It's not good to be a mistress. I heard that Anderson's fiancee is a daughter of a rich family in Flaucford, and we can't afford to offend her, so you'd better stay away from him as soon as possible. Although Willy is a pretty bad man, isn't he rich? You will have nothing to worry about for the rest of your life if you marry him."
