Chapter 816 Check the Surveillance Camera
Basically, Lilly hadn't touched the vodkas since she placed them on the wine rack. Besides, everyone knew that she was responsible for Emmeline and Kayla's meals. Thus, as long as it was their food or drinks, no one would touch them.

Lilly got panic.
On the other hand, Emmeline was calm. She took another sip of the cocktail and asked someone to call Uncle Poick here. After he was here, he confirmed with Emmeline that the vodka he sent that day was of the best quality.
Then, Emmeline turned to look at the group of servants in front of her.
"Except for Lilly, who else was working in the kitchen during the last few days?"

Then, three servants came forward.
Staring at them, Emmeline asked, "Are the three of you chefs?"
Hearing that, the three servants shook their heads. Perhaps due to fear, or maybe they were shy, so they kept their heads lowered.
Then, one of them murmured, "No, Miss Illington. We are just the kitchen helpers that helped with washing the vegetables and doing some other chores."

"Have all of you ever touched Lilly's ingredients?"
"No."

Suddenly, a younger maid added, "Actually, if there are any precious alcoholic drinks, Lilly will keep them in a locked wine rack. We don't have the keys, so we definitely can't touch it."
After hearing those words, Lilly also quickly explained, "They are right, Miss Illington. After all, there are too many people in the castle, and I am afraid that someone will do something indecent. So, I'll put those expensive alcoholic drinks in a special wine rack with a lock, and I'm the only one who is holding the key of that lock."

"Is there any surveillance camera in the kitchen?"
Hearing those words, Lilly paused for a while.
After that, she nodded and answered, "Yes, there is."
"Show me."
With that, a group of people brought Emmeline to the kitchen.
At this time, people from the main building had also heard about this. So, Jara came over.
Seeing him around, Kayla wanted to show off her observance, so before the monitor was switched on, she forewarned, "Emmeline, although I am sure that Lilly is the culprit, you tried every possible way to exonerate her. You may check the surveillance camera, but what are you going to do if she was really the culprit?"

As she couldn't finish watching it alone, she asked someone to set up a few more computers and made a copy of the surveillance videos for every computer. Then, she ordered a few people who looked reliable to come and watch it together.
Throughout the entire process, Jara quietly stood at the door and watched without intervening.

Emmeline watched the video in a flash.
While the others were still watching an hour's footage, she had finished watching a day's footage.

After that, Emmeline asked Yunne to play the video at a normal speed. Then, both of them watched the video carefully.
On the screen, everyone was busy with their own business. Soon, they finished their work and left one after another.
Staring at the screen for a long time, Yunne couldn't spot anything odd. With that, she frowned in confusion.
"Miss Illington, what's wrong with this scene?"
With a calm expression, Emmeline ordered in a low voice, "Rewind for another ten seconds. I want to have a look again."
Despite being dubious, Yunne nodded and rewound the video for her.
This time, Emmeline finally had an answer.
When the footage showed one of the places, she said, "This is the one. Let's pause here for a moment."
At once, Yunne clicked on the "stop" button.
Then, Emmeline said to the others, "That's it. You guys can stop now."
Shocked, everyone looked up at Emmeline in confusion.
Before that, when they were watching the surveillance videos, Kayla had been standing aside and staring at them mockingly. She was sure that Lilly took the vodka, so no matter how Emmeline investigated, in the end, Lilly would still be the thief.
Therefore, she was not anxious at all. If Jara were to allow her to come close, she would have chatted with him to relieve her boredom.
Now, seeing that Emmeline asked everyone to stop, she laughed, "So, do you have any findings?"
