Chapter 730 I Need to Use the Toilet

Meanwhile, another man who was smoking gave a smile.
When he squinted, there was a familiar glow in his gaze.
"What a good deal!"
Hearing that, Clarissa looked at him and frowned slightly.
She didn't know if it was her illusion, but she felt that the man in front of her looked somewhat familiar.
Clearly, it was a face that she had never seen before, but the gesture of holding a cigarette, the smile on his face when he narrowed his eyes, and...
She shook her head to get rid of these thoughts.
No, that was impossible!
He couldn't be here.
Clarissa and Nora were not given a chance to speak. After glancing at them, the two closed the door of the carriage.
Then, they went to the front seat and started the engine of the car.
As they continued to drive along the rugged mountain roads, Clarissa and Nora kept quiet. Because of that, the two men did not pay much attention to them.
Seeing the submissive look on Clarissa and Nora's faces, they assumed that the ladies were already given a lesson when they were with Uncle Jasper.
Usually, when someone fell into such a situation, he or she wouldn't accept their fate at the very beginning.
There would always be some resistance.
But once they realized that no matter how hard they resisted and could not escape their fate in the end, they would naturally give up resisting.
This was their thought.
Furthermore, in their minds, they were not robbing nor hurting anyone, and they only wanted to find a wife. As long as the ladies behave themselves, they wouldn't abuse them on purpose. So the ladies should have nothing to complain about.
It was also because of this that they realized that Clarissa and Nora didn't even show the slightest sign of resisting. Thus, the two men didn't think too much about it.
They just thought that the ladies had accepted their fate.
So they continued to drive slowly.
Meanwhile, Clarissa and Nora sat up from the hard planks. The men knew that they were awake anyway, so they decided not to pretend anymore.
However, before they had a clear grasp of the men's background, they remained silent.
Fortunately, the men in the front seemed to be in a good mood. Perhaps it was because Clarrissa and Nora appeared to be powerless and obedient girls, so they didn't have their guard up against them.
After all, they were in the wilderness, and there was no one else around here. On top of that, the carriage was locked. Unless the door was unlocked, otherwise, the ladies couldn't cause trouble.
Therefore, the men were not in a hurry.
They were chatting while driving the car along the road.
From their conversation, Clarissa had a vague idea of their identity and content.
These two people were probably from the small town not far away, where Uncle Jasper had mentioned before.
Listening to their conversation, Clarissa realized they kept mentioning the details of the town.
Previously, Clarissa thought they were brothers.
But only after listening to their conversation that she realized they weren't real brothers, and they were actually cousins.
But that was enough information.
They heard the news yesterday that there were two new girls in town who needed a buyer.
Coincidentally, the two of them were planning to get a wife, so they contacted the seller.
However, they didn't know Uncle Jasper personally. If they needed anything, they would usually contact the middle person.
Because of this, it was the other man who had gone to Uncle Jasper's place to pick them up.
As for these two men, they spent 30,000 dollars each to buy Clarissa and Nora off from the middle man.
That was to say, Clarissa and Nora had been sold twice within one day.
It was ridiculous to think about it.
For the whole time, Nora had been pressing the knife on her waist.
Fortunately, these men were not on guard against them, so they didn't think about searching them beforehand. Otherwise, if they found the knife, Clarissa and Nora would be in trouble.
The road was bumpy, and they had been driving for a long time. Judging by the faint light coming through the gap between the doors, Clarissa and Nora assumed that it was already around six o'clock in the morning as the sunlight began to shine.
They wondered what would happen to them when they arrived at the town, and perhaps an even more difficult situation would await them.
But, fortunately, they were no longer in the woods, so they didn't need to worry about knowing the way out.
Once they arrived in town, they would have access to electricity as well as ways of communication, and the rest should be much easier to deal with.
Therefore, after observing through the gap of the car door for a while, Clarissa whispered to Nora. "After the car stops, find a way to escape."
Nora also had the same idea, so she nodded in agreement.
The two had their back hunched while they sat in the carriage.
After waiting for a while, the car suddenly stopped.
Clarissa could hear one of the men in front speaking to the other man.
With that, the other person replied, "Hurry up, okay? I'll wait for you here."
The man nodded, then got out of the car and left.
Meanwhile, Clarissa listened carefully to the movement outside. When she heard the sound of footsteps gradually fading away, she exchanged a glance with Nora and they seemed to understand each other.
Then, she raised her hand and tapped the carriage wall.
"Hello! Is anybody there? I'm having a stomachache. I need to use the toilet."
Clarissa yelled.
Following that, they could hear footsteps. It sounded like a person had stepped out of the car and was approaching them.
However, unexpectedly, the man did not open the door of the carriage right away.
Instead, standing next to the wall of the carriage, he asked with a thick iron wall between them, "What is it?"
Pursing pursed her lips, Clarissa repeated. "I need to use the toilet."
"Now?" Frowning, the man sounded annoyed. "Not now, but don't worry. We will arrive in town in half an hour. If you really can't hold back, just pee in the car. It's okay, I'll help you clean up later."
Hearing that, Clarissa was speechless.
Her and Nora's faces could not help but turn dark.
Who would have thought that the man would say that?
Since he refused to open the door, the ladies were unable to smash open the door and escape directly.
After all, it was an iron door, but not a plank.
Not to mention the two of them who were bare-handed, it would still be difficult to open the thick iron door even if they were each given a knife.
So, Clarissa could only beg helplessly. "No, I—I need to move my bowels!"
Afraid that the man would reject her again, she quickly added. "Don't worry. I won't run away. You can go with me if you are worried, or you can tie me with a rope. I am just a weak woman, and I am not familiar with this place anyway, so I can't run away."
Hearing her statement, the man hesitated.
Perhaps it was because of his compassion for women, he said, "Wait for a while! I'm alone now. When my brother comes back, I'll take you"
Upon hearing that, Clarissa had no choice but to keep quiet.
After about two minutes, footsteps were heard.
With that, Clarissa and Nora knew that his brother was back.
The two exchanged glances, and Clarissa tapped at the door again.
