Chapter 772 Acknowledged the Situation and Left

Just when everyone thought that today's scene would end with Emmeline being thrown out mercilessly by the Holland family, suddenly, a cold and mellow voice was heard coming from the door.
"What are you doing?"
A tall and slender figure came in sight along with a clear and crisp sound of leather shoes stepping on the marble floor.
As the man stood by the door against the light, everyone in the living room couldn't have a good look at his face clearly, but from his deep voice, they could tell that he was a little unhappy.
The presence of the man was like a pebble that suddenly fell into the bottom of the lake, immediately stirring up ripples in everyone's heart. Only, the ripples were of different intensities.
In an instant, Mrs. Holland's face turned pale while Raya's hand froze in mid-air; the other servants and Uncle Poick had their heads lowered. However, Uncle Poick shifted his hands that were previously clasped in front of his body respectfully, signaling something to Jara.
Meanwhile, Emmeline stood still in the middle of the living room with a cold face. Perhaps it was because of the bright light, but when she turned to look toward the door, her eyes narrowed.
Without receiving an answer, Jara frowned slightly, then walked in slowly.
With his handsome facial features, he approached with an indifferent expression and a pair of deep dark eyes that seemed to be able to pierce through hearts as he gradually appeared in front of Emmeline.
When he saw Emmeline, his gaze was cold, without any hint of joy nor disgust. His gorgeous lips were tightly pursed, giving off a serious vibe.
"Jara!"
In an instant, Mrs. Holland yelled his name and hurried forward as if she wanted to explain something, but she was interrupted by his gaze.
"Enough! From today onward, she will be staying here as a guest. This is my decision."
"She will be staying here?"
Upon hearing that, Mrs. Holland widened her eyes in disbelief. "Do you know what you're talking about? You haven't seen what she was like earlier!"
Turning around to look at Raya as if she was her last straw, she pointed at her and said, "Ask Raya. The way she acted earlier was extremely arrogant! How can such a woman become one of the Hollands?"
Immediately, Raya froze, but she did not dare to disobey Mrs. Holland, so she came forward and said, "Miss Illington did talk back to Madam just now."
Upon hearing that, Jara frowned and interrupted her, "Enough! I don't need anyone to interfere in my matters. This is the castle and not the Holland family's residence, so if you want to have a say in this, you'd have to do it somewhere else. Otherwise, I have the final say here!"
"But..."
Suddenly Mrs. Holland decided to shut her mouth after noticing that Jara's eyes were as cold as wolves, and his sharp brows were slightly knitted, implicating that the master of the house was already getting impatient.
Undoubtedly, she had a say in the Holland family, but one thing's for sure was that at the end of the day, all major decisions in the Holland family laid upon the hands of Jara, and he would never give an exemption to his stepmother!
And the look in his eyes earlier clearly showed that he was already angry. It seemed that no one could question or change the decisions he made in the household. This was a rule that was tacitly approved by everyone in the Holland family, including the old man who was no longer in charge of the family—Magnus Holland.
But when did this rule become effective? Nobody could remember. They only knew that one day, everyone somehow got used to his orders and got used to him making all the arrangements.
Over time, Jara had proved that he was capable of making the right decisions, so gradually, the voices of those who oppose his decisions diminished, to the point where everyone had forgotten that the real owner of the family, Magnus, was still there.
As Jara turned around and swept his gaze across Raya, who was froze at her spot, he did not land his gaze on her, but surprisingly, he took a few extra glances at Emmeline.
In turn, Emmeline raised her head slightly and calmly looked into his eyes, without any hint of self-abasement or timidness.
Then, he let out a sneer.
"Take her to Tower B, and make sure she stays there. If I see her wander around again or cause any trouble, don't blame me for being rude!"
Everyone kept quiet out of fear, and even Mrs. Holland, the hostess of the family, was like a deflated ball at this point. Although she was still dissatisfied with the outcome, she no longer tried to refute it.
When she heard the words, Emmeline's eyes slightly lit up. Subsequently, she lowered her head and clenched her fists, reflecting the surge of emotions she felt at that moment.
Evidently, except for Emmeline, everyone had ignored an important point.
And that was when Mrs. Holland said that she was not worthy of becoming one of the Hollands.
And, upon hearing that, Jara didn't give a respond to that statement!
This might not seem to be a big deal to the others.
But for Emmeline, it was of great significance.
This was because the two of them were once engaged, and up until now, she still had him in her heart.
With the thought in mind, a gorgeous smile appeared at the corners of her lips. It was soul-luring and soul-devouring, like the Manjusaka flower, blooming at the other side of the river bank.
Under Jara's insistence, Emmeline was able to live peacefully in the castle.
Perhaps Jara had secretly made things clear with everyone in the family, ever since the incident that afternoon, no one else came looking for trouble with her.
Fortunately, Emmeline didn't need to go downstairs except for when she needed to eat, so even if everyone else was living in the same castle, she seldom bumped into any of them. After a day, they got used to it.
Luckily, Mrs. Holland did not stay there for long.
After all, she was on a vacation and happened to be passing by, so she stayed for two days.
Following Jara's distaste for this matter, she felt snubbed. Thus, she packed up and left the next afternoon.
For that, Jara did not send her off, but only sent Quan to drive them.
Knowing that Jara was in a high position now, Mrs. Holland was afraid that the entire Holland family would belong to him in the future, and she would have to listen to him anyway. Hence, for this case, it was not that big of a deal at all.
Therefore, she didn't care too much about it.
However, she couldn't help thinking that it would be better if her two sons could work a little harder.
When Mrs. Holland left, Emmeline stood in front of the window in her room and watched everything.
Secretly, she took note of the time she left and the car's number plate.
After that, she picked up the laptop from the desk.
The computer and the mobile phone she was using were sent to her the second day she moved into the Holland Residence. When receiving them, she double-checked them to make sure that they were brand new. Since there was no sign that they were opened and repackaged, and there was no "unfriendly" installation. she was sure that it was safe.
She couldn't be blamed for being too sensitive. First of all, she no longer trusted anyone so easily due to her previous experiences.
Secondly, after living here for a few days, she had already realized that although this castle looked normal, except for being more luxurious and spacious, there was nothing unusual about it. But in truth, there were at least 20 spies hiding around, and each of them was an expert.
