Chapter 879 Surprising Identity
The international boutique's fitting room was enormous, spanning more than ten square meters.
Yunne was expressionless at this point, and a man stood opposite her.
She couldn't see the man's face since he was wearing a metal mask. He was, however, quite skinny, and his voice was low and cold.
"We've given you lots of chances. You definitely have a lot of chances for making a move. Why didn't you do it?"
Hearing that, Yunne looked at him coldly.
Her face was no longer filled with the polite smile that she had before.
She only had a cold and indifferent expression on her face.
Glancing at him coldly, she asked, "How do I know that you will let my family go after I complete the task for you?"
The man sneered and walked over slowly, step by step.
It wasn't until he got to her that he took action, lifted her chin, and said calmly, "What do you think the benefits of keeping your family in our hands are? Are they going to help me? Josie, you need to understand that once we get Emmeline, you're useless to us, and the same goes for your families. Why would I want to keep them?"
Yunne was the girl he addressed as Josie. She did not, however, show any signs of giving in simply because of his remarks.
She then responded in hushed tones, "You must first let go of my family if you want me to help you. At the very least, let me know they're safe. Otherwise, even if I die, I will not help you!"
Her eyes were a touch fierce as she spoke.
The man looked at her and narrowed his eyes.
"Does this mean you're not going to follow my orders?"
Yunne did not answer.
The man suddenly began to laugh sinisterly.
The laughter made everybody feel cold as if it were a sack of ice.
He suddenly leaned over and approached her, whispering, "The phone call you just picked up outside is actually from Luca, not your family."
Yunne gave a violent shudder.
She looked at him in disbelief.
The man continued, "Luca raised an illegitimate daughter outside, and she is now eighteen years old. As a member of the Marsh Family, you stayed in an orphanage since young. You thought you could return to your father, but he not only refused to accept you but also ordered you to come to Jara and work as a maid. Don't you have any hatred in your heart?"
At that moment, Yunne was taken aback.
She locked her gaze on the man. "I don't know what you're talking about!" she gritted her teeth and said after some time.
"Oh, you don't admit it. Gee, it doesn't matter. Anyway, your grandma in your orphanage won't live long. If you don't help us, I will kill her first. After all, you have to not only send somebody to take care of her, but you also have to listen to her nagging every day. Isn't it annoying?"
As soon as he said this, Yunne immediately stood up.
"You are not allowed to touch my grandma!"
However, her shoulder was quickly pressed down by the man.
The man appeared to be gentle, but he was actually exerting a lot of strength on forcing her to sit back in the chair.
He spoke softly, "I won't kill her if you listen to me. What do you think?"
Yunne's eyes instantly went red.
After, the man took out a pack of drugs from his clothes.
"How many times did you use the essential oil I gave you?"
Yunne glanced at him coldly, seeming hesitant to respond. "Four times," she replied with red eyes, with the idea of her grandma being humiliated.
"That's enough. Find a chance today and put this into her water. I'll keep an eye on you all the way. After that, I'll give you an instruction, and you shall obey it. Do you understand?"
Yunne bit her cheeks and asked, "What about my grandma?"
The man chuckled and said, "Don't worry, she is still fine. Give Emmeline in exchange for her life. I promise your grandma will be safe."
Just then, there was a soft knock on the door from outside.
"Yunne, how are you? Are you okay?"
Both of them were stunned and turned to face the door.
The man glanced at her and chuckled, "Okay, that's it. Remember what I said. I'm leaving."
After then, he dashed out of the other side's exit.
At this time, Yunne was still sitting there, pursing her lips. After a few seconds, she managed to control the fury in her heart and responded calmly, "I will be ready soon."
After that, she stood up and changed her clothes in a hurry.
Emmeline felt relieved upon hearing Yunne's voice.
Just now, she and Rudy had waited outside for a long time, but Yunne did not come out.
It had been more than ten minutes since she went in. The design of the dress was not complicated, so she should not have taken so long.
Therefore, Emmeline went to ask because she was concerned. Now it seemed that there was nothing to worry about, so she was relieved.
After waiting outside for a while, Yunne finally came out.
Everyone's eyes lit up.
Yunne stood tall and slender in a mint-colored knee-length dress. On top of the leaf design, there were some white pearls as embellishment, which seemed like raindrops falling on it. At that moment, she looked like an elf who had fled the woodland and fallen into the mortal realm.
Rudy was stunned at once.
Yunne was surprised to see Rudy. For a brief period, she was shocked, and her face turned red immediately.
She murmured, nervously looking at Rudy, then at Emmeline. "Emmeline, how do I look?"
"You look stunning!" Emmeline exclaimed, nodding.
After speaking, she turned around and nudged Rudy with her arm, asking, "What do you think?"
Rudy finally came back to his senses.
His cheeks flushed unexpectedly, making him appear handsome and fair. He suddenly didn't know where to look. In a panic, he nodded and replied, "Great! You look good."
Emmeline couldn't help laughing.
Yunne also blushed.
Emmeline looked at the two people and sighed with emotion in her heart.
"This is all I can do for you two," she thought to herself.
Previously, she didn't know what Rudy thought about Yunne. He now appeared to have feelings for Yunne as well. It was just that they were so shy that they didn't say anything.
At this time, Rudy finally understood Emmeline's intention for him to come in.
It turned out that he was not here to check out a dress for Emmeline, but Yunne...
Not knowing what he was thinking, his face turned even redder. He didn't dare to look at Yunne as if she were a pristine beauty.
He paused, then said softly, "Miss Illington, I'll go out first since it's done."
