Chapter 638 To Be Led Astray
After all, because Marty was here, she was afraid that they would see something off if they spent too much time together.

Marty continued. "Some people say that when you are facing the sea and sunset, and if you make a wish, your wish will come true."
Startled, she turned around, only to see the endless sea in the distance from the castle.
The setting sun reflected on the surface of the sea, turning the waves into small pieces of gold, as if the sea was dyed red.
Then, she smiled faintly.
"You still believe in this?"
In response, Marty said, "I believe in anything beautiful."
After listening to his words, Evelyn was stunned again.
Then, she came to her senses.
Yes!
He would believe everything that was beautiful.
That was how he was as a person. On the surface, he looked like a dandy, but deep down, he was loyal and clear-minded.
Although he had seen the darkness and ugliness in the world, he didn't associate with them, instead, he would rather maintain his simple and pure heart.
The so-called pure heart was nothing more than this.
Suddenly, she felt a burning sensation in her heart, and it was a little hot.
As she felt her hand was gripped tightly, it was Marty who reached out to hold her hand.

Seeing that, Marty smiled.
He was smiling so happily.
The two just stood there quietly, looking at the sunset and the sea, enjoying the rare silence and beauty in the moment.
As they stood there, they didn't know how much time had passed.
Then, someone shouted from afar. "Eh? Where's Evelyn? I just saw her earlier. How did she disappear in a blink of an eye?"
Only then did she come to her senses, and quickly pushed his arms away.
With a low voice, she said, "They're looking for me. Hurry up and let me go."
Raising his eyebrows,, Marty didn't refuse.
But when he let go of her, he suddenly lowered his head and kissed her on the lips.

Standing there in shock, she felt as if her soul was leaving her body.
Then, he gave a wicked smile and quickly dashed to the stairs on the other side.
Soon, a staff came over and found her.
"You're here. We're looking for you everywhere. Everything has been packed up. Let's go."
Hearing that, Evelyn noded.
As she followed the staff away, she looked in the direction of the stairwell.
There was no one there, and Marty had disappeared. She had no idea where he went.
Then, she followed the staff out.
There was still a faint trace of the cool temperature left by the man on her lips, which made her heart tremble greatly.
It was not until they reached the front of the car that she finally saw him again, carrying a black coat, and walking over slowly from afar.
As Evelyn's assistant, naturally he would go back with them.

Soon, the car arrived at the hotel.

Because she was the main character, and even though most of the crew members had arrived, everyone mainly revolved around her during the dinner.
Evelyn's alcohol tolerance was not good, so after drinking a few cups, she told them that she could not drink anymore.
Meanwhile, Marty was sat at another table and his eyes darkened when he saw this.
He wanting to come over directly, but he was stopped by a look from Evelyn.
With a smile, she said to the staff, "If I continue to drink, it will affect the shooting tomorrow. It's getting late, so all of you should go back and rest early. It will be the same to gather back home after the filming."
Hearing this, everyone did not want to affect the work, so they gave up.
After dinner, when Evelyn returned to her room, she found that Marty had arrived earlier than her.
Last night, she had the experience of having her window broken into.
So, she didn't dare to lock it again. That way, Marty could open the door directly with the room card.
After entering the room, she took off the scarf and coat, and asked, "When did you come up? Why didn't I see you?"
