Chapter 452 Live Happily Ever After
Lauren paused for a moment.
She was a mother of a child. How could she be still young?
However, the shop assistant's words obviously pleased Jameson. He curled his lips a little and didn't even ask about the price. Waving his hand, he said, "Pack it up!"
Lauren quickly stopped him. "Don't I have to try it on?"
This dress was very narrow at the waist, so she was worried that it wouldn't fit her.
Jameson gazed down at her and sized her up. He said, "There's no need to do that. You can definitely fit in it."

The shop assistant asked with a smile, "Sir, are you paying by card or cash?"
"By card."
"Okay, sir, this way please."
Jameson followed the shop assistant to pay the bill, while Lauren stood in the same spot and waited patiently.
Soon, he came out with the shopping bags. There was only one dress, but there were three shopping bags. When Lauren took them over and looked at them, she found that he had also bought the matching handbag and shoes.

Jameson said with a calm face, "The bags and shoes she recommended are stunning. I am not good at this, but I am very satisfied with her ability to put together an outfit."
Lauren was speechless.
The two returned to the hotel and went to their respective rooms to rest for a while. Then, they agreed to go out together at nine o'clock.
Nine o'clock in the evening.
Lauren had already dressed herself up in advance. She just needed to get changed into the dress.
In the middle of changing the dress, she was suddenly stunned.

Outside the door came the sound of Jameson knocking on the door. "Are you ready?"

So she opened the door to let him in.
After opening the door, she was mesmerized by the sight in front of her.
Jameson was wearing a dark blue suit tonight. The black tie and the royal blue crystal cuffs complemented each other well, shining mysteriously under the light. His delicate and sharp facial features seemed to be carved by a skilled craftsman. He looked more elegant and extremely handsome.
Her heart was beating a little too fast!
As soon as Jameson entered the door, he saw Lauren's face was flushed and the dress was unnaturally hanging on her body.
A mischievous glint flashed across Jameson's eyes. He smiled and said, "It doesn't fit you?"
Lauren's facial expression darkened, but she still nodded honestly.
"Let me see."
Jameson said and walked behind her.
Lauren wore a small vest in the dress, which was a little longer than lingerie, and clung to her body to avoid any wardrobe malfunction.
This was a habit from her previous life. Because Lauren often went on missions and might need to attend all kinds of banquets. In order to make her work easier, she was usually fully armed underneath her dress. She thought it was a good habit. Besides, even if she wore it, it was barely noticeable because of her slender figure. So she had kept the habit.
Jameson pulled her hand away and looked at the zipper.
His eyes became darker as soon as he swept his eyes across Lauren's flesh-colored vest.
HIs Adam's apple bobbed up and down uncontrollably.
He reached out his hand to move the zipper and said, ".Move your hair away"
Lauren quickly tossed her long hair to the front.
There was a small fiery red birthmark on the back of her neck under her raven hair, which looked so realistic as if it was burning.
Jameson narrowed his eyes.
His memory flashed back to the rainy night where a girl was lying on the ground, looking feeble but cold.
The vague images in his mind coincided with that of that rainy night, so realistic that even he himself could not tell if it was a dream or the reality.
As thousands of thoughts flashed through Jameson's mind, he could only sigh helplessly in the end.
Lauren stood there quietly. She felt a little embarrassed as the room fell into a dead silence.
After a while, she felt that the dress loosened at the waist and then the zipper was pulled up smoothly.
Lauren finally let out a sigh of relief.
The dress was actually not too small, and it fitted her perfectly. When she went to the mirror and looked at her own reflection, she was a little surprised.
Lauren had always preferred dark colors. She had thought that a youthful color such as sky blue color would not suit her. However, when she saw the youthful and refreshing reflection in the mirror at this moment, only then did she realize that she could also wear this color.
The cutting of the dress was simple but it looked elegant and unique.
Especially the sapphire bracelet on her hand made her look refreshing and more refined.
Lauren was sizing herself up until she suddenly heard a soft laugh from the back.
"Can we go now? Mrs. Green?"
Lauren looked up and saw Jameson appear behind her. He was handsome, smart and charming. Between his handsome eyes and brows, there was no sign of his usual rigorousness, but a little bit more banter.
He picked up the handbag on the table and handed it to her, before he stretched out his arm to her.
"Mrs. Green, if you don't leave now, we'll be late."
Lauren blushed slightly. She turned around and glared at him.
Then, she reached out and took his arm.
The venue of the banquet was on the second floor of the hotel they were staying in.
The two of them took the lift downstairs.
As one of the most famous entertainment outlets for the rich in Nilween City, the Celestial Mountain Resort was indeed very luxurious. The lights inside of the hall were bright and magnificent. It was crowded with people, and it was a buzzing scene.
Lauren looked around and saw a few familiar faces among the crowd from the military, political and business circles. Elites from all walks of life gathered together. She was once again impressed by the Holland family's appeal.
What surprised her was that the people from the Jordan Family, and Marty had also come!
Anderson was abroad and busy, so the Jordan Family had sent someone else , while Marty attended the party on behalf of the Blaine family.
Marty was the most socially dynamic person in the Blaine family. He was standing in the crowd, having a good conversation before several real estate entrepreneurs.
And what surprised her even more was that Gilly was with them!
Gilly wore a white maxi dress tonight. Her long hair was tied up and her ivory skinned shone brightly under the lights. She looked even more graceful and pure.
