Chapter 579 There Is A Lead

Every time she got closer Anderson, he would feel like she was seducing him.
With this thought in mind, he reached out and held her waist, taking her into his arms.
"Clarissa, don't underestimate your husband's energy."
As he lowered his head slightly, he replied in a hoarse voice, while smiling.
His warm breath brushed through her white and tender cheeks, which brought out a flirtatious vibe.
For unknown reasons, he didn't do anything, but only said a few words, and Clarissa was already blushing.
Her little pink and delicate face was glowing like a sunset and she looked so gorgeous and attractive.
Smiling, Anderson lowered his head, and gave her a gentle kiss on the lips.
At that moment, Clarissa's whole body went stiff, and felt numb all over.
But, before he could proceed to the next step, she quickly stopped him rationally.
"Don't... There's someone else at home!"
Even if he didn't care about the servants, the two children were around too.
Although the children were already asleep, they might wake up anytime.
Obviously, Anderson understood her point. After cursing silently, he bent down and lifted Clarissa up.
Startled by his sudden action, Clarissa grabbed his collar and exclaimed. "Anderson, what are you doing?"
Laughing in a low and hoarse voice, he said, "I'm proving to you that I'm very energetic."
Hearing that, Clarissa was speechless.
The next morning, when she woke up, it was almost ten o'clock.
As Clarissa sat up in a daze, she reached for her phone, and was shocked when she saw the time.
"My God, it's so late already?!"
Because she remembered that it was the weekend today, and finally, she was able to take the time off, she had promised Anne that she would accompany her to visit the children's art exhibition this morning.
However, it was now 10 o'clock already, and she was not sure if they would make it in time.
If they couldn't make it in time, she would be breaking her promise to Anne.
Ergh... It was all his fault!
Clarissa was about to curse Anderson to death. However, when she turned around to take a closer look, she realized that Anderson was no longer in the room.
Suddenly, she remembered that he had to take the flight at 6 o'clock in the morning today, so he had probably left.
Only then did she got out of bed dejectedly. She stretched herself to ease her sore lower back, then went into the bathroom to wash up.
By the time she was done washing up, fifteen minutes had passed.
In order to move faster, Clarissa had tried to compress her time as much as possible.
She didn't want to let Anne down, and furthermore, she certainly didn't want to be an adult who didn't keep her words.
So as soon as she changed her clothes, she rushed downstairs hurriedly.
When she got downstairs, Anne was quietly sitting on the sofa, watching cartoons, while Marfy was with the nanny, playing at the play area.
Walking over quickly, she hugged Anne, frowning, as she said, "Anne, I'm so sorry. I got up late."
Hearing that, Anne looked up at her, blinking with a pair of big eyes, and her eyelashes were flickering like small fans, as they were thick and dense.
Then, she said crisply, "Mommy, what are you talking about? You are not late."
Upon hearing that, Clarissa was stunned.
Subsequently, Anne handed her the ticket to the art exhibition.
"Mommy, the art exhibition has been adjusted. It was supposed to close at noon, but now it has been delayed to six o'clock in the afternoon. So even if we go after lunch, it's still fine."
Being a little surprised, Clarissa took the ticket and looked at it carefully. Indeed, the time written was from eight o'clock in the morning to six o'clock in the afternoon.
Huh? There was something wrong.
Turning around, she took her bag and removed the ticket to the art exhibition that she had prepared in advance.
It was stated clearly that it was between eight o'clock in the morning to twelve o'clock in the afternoon.
What was going on?
Taking over Anne's tickets, she found that the two tickets were exactly the same except for the time.
Knitting her brows, she asked, "Anne, who gave you this ticket?"
In response, Anne replied seriously, "Daddy gave it to me before he went out, and he told me not to come up and bother you. He said you were too tired last night and needed to rest."
Hearing that, Clarissa was speechless.
Now, she finally understood what was going on.
It was all his fault!
Last night, he had sex with her for an entire night, and he was afraid that she would blame him today, so he pulled some strings and asked someone to rearrange the closing time. That way, even if she woke up late, she would not miss visiting the exhibition with Anne.
Knowing that she had always valued the promises she made with Anne, and he would be the reason she broke the promise, she would definitely be angry and would vent her anger on him.
Therefore, he had arranged it in advance. As long as the art exhibition was not affected, she had no reason to be angry with him.
He was really... shrewd and astute!
At the moment, Clarissa was annoyed, but when she saw the expectant look on Anne's face, she couldn't tell the truth.
Finally, she said helplessly, "Since it is open in the afternoon, we'll have lunch at home, and go there in the afternoon."
As Clarissa finished her sentence, Anne nodded in agreement.
Seeing this, Clarissa didn't stay any longer and went back upstairs to get some rest.
Fortunately, Anderson had sent someone to extend the art exhibition. Although the reason for this was inappropriate, the outcome was good.
Just when she was about to take a rest, a phone call came in.
Because Clarissa almost dozing off, she was startled and woke up suddenly when the call came in.
Immediately, she took out her mobile phone and looked at it. It was a call from F Country.
At once, she became serious, and her sleepiness disappeared immediately. She was wide awake, as she sat up straight.
After answering the call, she held the phone to her ear, and asked in a low voice, "Is there any news?"
On the other end, a female voice that sounded indifferent was heard.
"Yes, but it's not convenient for me to speak on the phone. I've sent the specific information to the email you gave me last time. You'll know after reading it."
Hearing that, Clarissa nodded. "Alright, I understand."
After hanging up the phone, she immediately opened her mailbox and saw an anonymous email.
In order to keep it a secret, the email had been encrypted.
Fortunately, Clarissa had learned about it before, so it was not difficult to crack it.
