Chapter 151 It’s all Darian’s Doing
As Cecily fought with the person in black, she realized that this was a dangerous situation. This person was definitely not an ordinary individual, as his combat skills were superior to hers.
Cecily couldn't think about much now, the priority was to get the child back. She was hit in the shoulder by the person, but managed to snatch Rowan from his grasp.
However, there were more than one person in black. Two more people got out of the black car.
"Cecily, be careful!" Aurelie screamed.
Cecily's eyes widened, and the person behind her directly swung a knife towards her. Holding the child in her arms greatly limited her movements.
She had no choice but to hold onto the child tightly. The knife landed on her, leaving a long cut on her back.
Cecily let out a muffled groan, her face turning pale.
"Mama!" the little one in her arms yelled, fear evident on their tiny face.
"It's okay, don't be afraid," Cecily tried to comfort the child as much as possible, so they wouldn't be scared.
Aunt Mary and Aurelie gasped when they saw this scene. Aurelie wanted to help, but she had no strength against these men. Even a single punch could be fatal for her.
"Go drive," Cecily gritted her teeth through the pain and yelled at Aurelie.
Aurelie immediately understood, nodding repeatedly as she went back to start the car.
The people behind caught up to Cecily and grabbed her shoulder. At the last moment, Cecily handed the child to the nearest Aunt Mary, "Get in the car, go."
Passing the child to Aunt Mary, Cecily immediately turned around to block them. It was clear that these people had a specific target - the child. As long as they got in the car and left with the child, they would be safe.
Cecily did her best to hold those people back, but Aunt Mary stood frozen in place, scared out of her wits.
The black-clothed men quickly realized this and gave up attacking Cecily, going to snatch the child instead. Aunt Mary screamed as the child was taken away by one of the men.
Cecily's heart sank, but she didn't have time to think. She could only chase after the man once again. However, this time the men were prepared and two of them blocked her while one carried the child away.
The odds were already stacked against Cecily, and she had no chance against two men.
"Mama..." Rowan struggled with all his might, but a child's strength was no match for that of an adult man. Rowan was swiftly pushed into the car and driven away.
"Rowan!"
Her pain was exacerbated, and she was physically drained. She could only helplessly watch as her child was taken away.
Cecily's heart instantly plunged into icy waters, and a chilling sensation rushed up from her feet.
She forcefully grabbed onto one man's clothes, and in the struggle, whether intentionally or not, he revealed a shirt with an emblem that read "F," the distinctive symbol of Fitzgerald's Family security.
Cecily's pupils contracted, and a thought immediately crossed her mind.
"Who do you work for?"
The black-clothed men sneered, "Someone you can't afford to mess with."
"Go," one of them said, quickly leaving the scene.
The pain in Cecily's back spread throughout her body, and she had no strength left to pursue them.
"Cecily," Aurelie hurriedly got out of the car to support her. When she touched Cecily's back, her hand came away damp. Her pupils trembled, and her voice quavered, "Cecily..."
"I'm fine, help me into the car."
They couldn't let them out of their sight with the child, or it would be difficult to find him.
Aurelie frowned as she looked at Cecily's wound, anxious. "You need to go to the hospital, to have your wound bandaged."
"There's no time, let's go."
Seeing her determination, Aurelie could only comply and help her quickly get into the car.
Aunt Mary seemed petrified by the whole scene, taking a long time to regain her senses. Cecily didn't have time to say anything, so she had to leave Aunt Mary behind, ensuring her safety.
In the car, one man was driving while the other restrained Rowan. The man spoke to him respectfully, "Mr. Fitzgerald Jr., don't worry. Mr. Fitzgerald sent us to bring you home."
Rowan was like an angry little beast, constantly punching and kicking at them. He couldn't hear anything now, he only knew that these people had hurt his mommy.
"Rowan, please listen to us," the man patiently said to Rowan. "Mr. Fitzgerald really misses you, so he sent us to bring you back home. We won't harm you, don't be afraid."
Rowan's eyes were bloodshot as he stared at them. "You hurt my mommy!"
"We had no choice. We are all under Mr. Fitzgerald's orders. We can only do as he says."
Rowan's gaze was fierce, but after a moment, he regained some sense of reason. There was a hint of shock in his eyes. "It's dad?"
The man glanced and nodded. "Yes, it's Mr. Fitzgerald. We're taking you back to Fitzgerald's Family."
Rowan's large eyes trembled.
Why would dad do this?
At the Flores family at this moment, Elysia and Ophelia sat together. Ophelia looked at the message she had received and smiled with satisfaction.
The plan was successful.
Elysia looked at Ophelia with confusion. "Ophelia, why did we do this? Wouldn't it be better to just make that dirty kid disappear? Sending him back to Fitzgerald's Family means he'll be back with Mr. Darian."
Ophelia leaned back on the couch, supporting her chin with her hand and smiling slyly. "Don't be impatient, just wait and see."

Cecily looked at the direction the front car was heading and furrowed her brows. It was the direction of Fitzgerald's Family.
Cecily's heart sank, and soon she saw the car drive directly into Fitzgerald's Family.
"Cecily, it's Fitzgerald's Family. They went into Fitzgerald's Family. Could it be that Darian sent someone to snatch the child?" Aurelie immediately thought of Darian sending people to snatch the child when she saw the car enter Fitzgerald's Family.
After all, she had already learned about the child's existence yesterday.

Aurelie looked worried and angry at Cecily. "Cecily, is Darian insane? He has always believed that the child is not his, so why is he still trying to take the child away?"

The security guard at the door used to let her in because she was Cecily, but since Sandra forbade Cecily from treating Darian last time, Sandra instructed them not to let Cecily in Fitzgerald's Family.
"Sorry, Miss Cecily, Ms. Thompson has instructed that you are not allowed to enter Fitzgerald's Family."
Despite being anxious, Cecily remained calm and asked, "Is the car that just entered Fitzgerald's Family's car?"
The security guard nodded, "Yes."
If it wasn't Fitzgerald's Family's car, the security guard wouldn't have let it in.
