Chapter 247 She is the Future Her
Ophelia stared at the disconnected phone in disbelief, unable to cry even though she felt hopeless.
She realized she was a daughter who could be abandoned at any time.
Ophelia closed her eyes and tearfully let the tears flow.
She raised her eyes and nervously looked at Blaise in front of her, "What do you want me to say?"
"Everything you've done."
"Everything I've done? Huh." Ophelia laughed bitterly, "No matter how much I've done, so what? Has Cecily never done anything bad?"
Her lips trembled, shaking with anger, "Cecily isn't as good as you imagine, you know?"
Blaise glanced at Ophelia with a smirk, lowering his eyes. "I need to know her true nature from your mouth? Anything that comes out of your mouth, even if she is an angel, can be described as a demon by you."
Ophelia suddenly looked up, jealousy flashing in her eyes.
Why does everyone think Cecily is good? What's so special about her?
Tears kept streaming down Ophelia's face.
"Don't cry."
Blaise said coldly, "I hate it when women cry, especially you. It annoys me even more."
The humiliation left Ophelia almost unable to shed tears. She took a deep breath, trembling lips looking at Blaise. "I will tell you every detail of the past two days. Can you spare me?"
Blaise agreed, glancing at the time. "Five minutes, start."
Ophelia bit her lip and began, "Yesterday, Darian threw me into a mental hospital and in the evening, a woman came to see me."
"Who?"
"I don't know."
"What did she look like?"
Ophelia shook her head. "I didn't see her face. She was wrapped up tightly, really."
Blaise looked at Sebastian Knight. "Go check."
Sebastian Knight immediately ordered someone to check the surveillance footage.
Blaise looked at Ophelia. "Continue."
Ophelia swallowed and continued tremblingly, "She said she could help me seek revenge, get me out, and told me to find Cecily. So I went. I originally wanted to burn her!"
She lacked the confidence to say the four words immediately.
Blaise's eyes darkened, and he remained silent. Ophelia gathered her courage and continued, "But I only managed to do that much, then Sandra came. She wanted to distract me, but I didn't want her to ruin my plan, so I knocked her out."
"But I only managed to do that much, then Sandra came. She wanted to distract me, but I didn't want her to ruin my plan, so I knocked her out."
Blaise's gaze turned cold and dark. Ophelia suddenly became emotionally excited, "It's true! I saw it! She stabbed Sandra with a knife, and she was saying because Sandra almost indirectly killed her child, she had grudges, so she took the opportunity to seek revenge on Sandra."
A chilling breeze swept over, making Ophelia shiver, her heart pounding in fear as she looked at the man in front of her. "Don't you believe me?"
"Are you saying she sought revenge on Sandra and stabbed her?"
"Yes, that's what happened! If you don't believe me, you can wait for Sandra to wake up and ask her. I dare to say this, there's no need to lie at this moment."
"Oh," Blaise sneered, "She didn't kill you, the murderer, but sought revenge on Sandra, who indirectly harmed the child? Is that reasonable?"
Ophelia quickly shook her head, "No, she hit me."
Blaise chuckled coldly.
Ophelia's words seemed genuine, not like a lie.
But even if Cecily truly wanted to harm someone, she wouldn't be foolish enough to leave all the evidence for them unless she wanted to be caught.
"Now that I've said everything, can you let me go?" Ophelia asked.
"Let you go? Did I say that? I don't remember," Blaise replied.
"You!" Ophelia gritted her teeth in anger, "Blaise! You have no integrity."
Blaise laughed and handed Ophelia over to his subordinate before leaving.
Ophelia watched his figure walking away and screamed behind him. Sebastian Knight stepped forward, holding up his phone, "Ophelia, come, look at the camera."
"You guys have no integrity! No integrity!"
Sebastian Knight ignored her completely and warned, "I hope Ophelia understands who started this. You harmed Ranjie, and we didn't seek revenge in kind. We only wanted you to confess your own misdeeds in front of everyone. We have been gentle enough. If you refuse to make amends, then we naturally have other ways to get back at you."
Sebastian Knight spoke calmly, but his words sounded terrifying in Ophelia's ears.
How dare they say they have been gentle enough?
Making her confess her misdeeds in front of everyone and posting them on the internet wouldn't ruin her completely? They were truly terrifying devils!
The incident became known to everyone online.
At Stellaris Bay, the first prominent family, The Silverwood, three elders watched the exposed photos of Cecily on the internet, their eyes filled with excitement. "Miss, we have finally found you."
"Go, immediately go to Stellaris Bay and bring back our future heir."
"No, we will go ourselves."
The three elders hurriedly left.
Following the man's instructions, Cecily went upstairs to the leftmost room on the third floor, which was a study. The door was unlocked, and Cecily entered smoothly.
The room was dark, with curtains drawn, not a ray of light seeping through. Cecily reached out and searched for the light switch.
The room lit up, illuminating the entire space.
Cecily didn't waste any time and immediately started searching for the key.
She was anxious.
Where could the key be?
She checked every possible place, like drawers and cabinets, but found nothing.
"Miss, what are you looking for?" A voice suddenly came from the doorway.
Cecily's back stiffened, and she turned to look at the person at the door, who was dressed like a butler in America.
Cecily composed herself and calmly asked, "What time did you come in?"
The person at the door replied, "I heard a noise and came in to check. I didn't expect it to be you."
Cecily pursed her lips. Why did people here walk without making a sound, like ghosts?
Cecily nodded, steadied her heartbeat, and continued to pretend to be calm as she looked for something.
The person didn't leave but walked straight in. "When did you come back, miss?"
Cecily dared not show any signs of panic and said calmly, "Half an hour ago. Is there something you need?"
The butler smiled, "No, I'm just surprised that you came back so quickly, miss. Are you looking for something, and you forgot to bring it?"
Cecily glanced at the butler and subtly shifted her gaze, "Yes, my plan worked, and I'm about to move on to the next step. But I suddenly realized that I forgot something."
Cecily opened the cabinet by the desk as she spoke, and her eyes fell on a key inside.
She found it!
Cecily looked at the key and held it in her palm.
She wasn't certain if it was the right one, but she could only try.
"I found it. You don't have to follow me," Cecily said, taking large strides and walking out.
The butler didn't seem to suspect her and obediently stayed behind.
Afraid of being discovered if she took too long, Cecily immediately ran downstairs to unlock the door for the man.
"So fast?" The man leaned back on the sofa like a lord.
Cecily held the key and asked, "Is this the one?"
The man raised his chin slightly, "Quick, let me try."
But Cecily withdrew her hand, "I can unlock it for you, but you have to help me send a message."
"You can't send messages from here."
"If you can control the surveillance, then there's a way to send the message," Cecily said, looking at him.
The man chuckled softly, "I'll follow your lead."
