Chapter 404 If You Can't Educate He Well, I'll Do It

Owen raised his hand and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"You still have the nerve to cry."

"Grandpa," Aurelia bit her lower lip and said, "It's all Cecily's fault."

"It's all my mommy's fault. Can you say anything else? Clearly, you were the one who attacked my mommy first, and now you're blaming her."

Griffin, standing by Sandra's side, couldn't bear to listen to Aurelia slandering his mom any longer.

Rowan, with a stern little face, said, "You brought this on yourself. Don't blame everything on our mommy. She hasn't even confronted you yet."

Sandra pulled the children back to her side and said coldly, "Even the kids can see what's going on, but you're still blaming others. You're worse than these two children."

"You all..." Aurelia gritted her teeth.

"Sandra, that's not how it is. We haven't figured things out yet. Victor being drugged must have something to do with Cecily," Josep said, sitting nearby with a dark expression, clearly demanding an explanation tonight.

Aurelia looked at Owen with a pleading face. "Grandpa, you have to stand up for me and Victor."

Seeing this, Rowan and Griffin were not to be outdone. They ran over and grabbed Owen's other arm. "Great-grandpa, our mommy wouldn't do that."

Owen opened his mouth and said, "Alright, let's wait until the two of them come down."

After waiting a while longer without seeing Darian and Cecily come downstairs, Owen frowned and instructed the servant. "What are they doing? Go call them again."

Freya, sitting next to Aurelia, felt a pang of jealousy thinking about Darian and Cecily having sex in the room.

Just as the servant was about to go upstairs, Darian came down.

He had changed his clothes, his shirt collar slightly open, exuding a calm and composed demeanor with a hint of satisfaction on his handsome face.

Freya clenched her hands tightly.

Such a man belonged to Cecily, and at this moment, her jealousy was beyond words.

'Why wasn't it me? Why couldn't it be me?' She thought to herself.

If she had been the one in the room with Darian, if she had been the one in Darian's arms, she would have been willing to die right then and there.

Freya didn't know how to suppress the jealousy in her heart, her teeth making a grinding sound.

Darian sat down on a single sofa, his posture casual yet exuding an air of nobility.

"Why are you alone? Where's Cecily?" Josep was displeased after waiting so long and only seeing Darian come down.

"Isn't my presence enough?"

Josep frowned and said, "This matter concerns Cecily. She should come herself. Is she hiding and afraid to face us? Someone, go call her."

Darian cast a cold glance over, and the servant froze in place, unsure of what to do.

His voice was indifferent. "She's asleep. If you wake her up, will you take responsibility?"

The servant glanced at Josep, then lowered his head, wisely abandoning the idea of going upstairs.

Although Darian didn't stay at the manor often, none of the servants dared to go against his wishes.

As Darian spoke, he poured himself a glass of water and took a couple of sips, his calm demeanor exuding an intimidating coldness.

Seeing this, Josep's forehead veins bulged in anger, and he could only look at Owen, who had been silent in the main seat. "Dad."

Owen said in a deep voice, "Darian, it's better for Cecily to be present until we figure things out."

"This has nothing to do with her. If there's anything unclear, deal with me."

Darian sat there, his attitude firm.

"Darian!" Josep couldn't take it anymore. "Are we just going to let it go that Cecily drugged Victor?"

Darian's cold gaze fell on the laptop on the table, the video paused on the screen.

He reached out and played it, watching in silence as the cold aura gradually filled the living room.

In the video, Cecily was seen running in a panic, with Victor chasing her like a mad dog, and Aurelia even tried to help Victor push Cecily back in, only to be dragged in by Victor herself.

An eerie silence ensued.

Darian lifted his eyes and glanced at Victor, then looked at Sandra. "Mom, take the kids upstairs."

Not knowing what Darian was going to do, Sandra complied.

After a while, he stood up and gestured for Victor to come over.

Victor swallowed, his eyes full of wariness.

"Darian."

"Come here."

Victor had never seen Darian like this and didn't know what he was going to do, but he still took a few steps forward.

The surrounding air seemed to freeze.

Josep immediately reacted, and Victor also sensed something was wrong and turned to run.

The next second, Darian grabbed Victor by the collar. Fear flashed across Victor's face, and then he was slammed onto the table with great force.

A loud crash followed as the glass table shattered instantly.

Several screams echoed.

"Darian! Stop."

Owen's anxious voice came from the side, trying to intervene.

Victor clutched his chest and tried to get up, but his shoulder was firmly pinned down. He wanted to escape, but he couldn't break free from Darian's grip. The sound of bones breaking was heard twice.

The intense pain made Victor tremble and convulse. "Help! Help me!"

"Which hand touched her?"

"This one?"

Victor's hand was immediately pierced by a fruit knife on the table.

"Stop! I said stop, Darian!" Josep shouted hoarsely from the side. "Darian, are you crazy? He's your cousin. Stop it."

"So what? If you mess with my wife, I'll beat you just the same." Darian's cold face showed no trace of human emotion.

Aurelia and Freya clutched their heads, screaming in terror at the scene.

Darian's gaze shifted to them, and an overwhelming sense of dread filled the air. Aurelia fell to her knees. "Cousin, I was wrong. I am sorry. Please don't hit me. I won't do it again. Please let me go."

Freya and Jennifer stood frozen, barely breathing, fearing they would be the next to be beaten beyond recognition.

Darian took two steps forward, and Aurelia's cries for mercy grew louder.

Darian tugged at the corner of his mouth without a hint of a smile, then disdainfully pulled out two tissues and repeatedly wiped his hands.

"Now, does anyone else have anything to say?" His cold gaze swept across everyone in the living room.

No one dared to voice any objections.

Josep and Olivia rushed to pick up Victor, whose hand was bleeding profusely, his face pale as a sheet.

"Darian, are you crazy?" Olivia cried out in anguish at Victor's condition.

"If you can't discipline your son, I don't mind helping. Next time, it won't be just a hand," Darian said coldly, not sparing a glance at the people on the floor as he walked upstairs.

"Dad, Darian is harming his own family. Aren't you going to do anything?" Josep asked Owen through gritted teeth.

Owen looked at the mess, his old eyes filled with sorrow.

As one got older, they couldn't stand such scenes, but Darian's anger was understandable in this case.

The surveillance video explained everything. Victor had entered Cecily's room on his own, and he had tried to force himself on her. Aurelia had tried to harm Cecily, so she got what she deserved.

There was no way to blame Cecily for any of this.

"You two should think about how to discipline your son first."

With that, Owen stood up, leaning on his cane, and walked upstairs in disappointment.

"Darian!" Josep gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with malice. "Just you wait."

Darian returned to the room to find Cecily sound asleep, her phone ringing repeatedly without waking her.

Darian picked up her phone and saw it was Vivienne.

After a moment's hesitation, Darian answered, and Vivienne's anxious voice came through. "Cecily, why are you just now answering? It's so late. Why aren't you home yet?"

It was clear Vivienne was very worried.

"It's Darian."

Vivienne was silent for a moment, and then her voice turned cold. "Is Cecily with you?"

Darian glanced at the sleeping woman and replied, "Yes."

"Let her answer the phone."

"She's asleep."

Vivienne immediately realized something and asked, "Is she sleeping with you?"

"Yes." Darian responded with a sound of acknowledgment.

Vivienne fell silent again.

The once imposing Darian downstairs now felt a bit nervous, like a kid caught sneaking a girl home by her parents.

"Alright, you two," Vivienne said, exasperated.

Her well-behaved daughter had just returned for a day and was already back with Darian.

"I'll bring Cecily back tomorrow to explain everything."

"I don't need your explanations. Just don't do anything inappropriate to my daughter."

Darian lowered his eyes, silent.

It was already done.
