Chapter 193 Mr. Fitzgerald Sr. Took Action, Putting Cecily in Danger
After finishing lunch with Rowan at the hospital, Cecily was preparing to go home when she was stopped by Raphael and his wife.
Liora rushed forward and knelt directly in front of Cecily, attracting the attention of everyone present.
"Cecily, just let your sister go. Your sister truly knows she was wrong. You can't be so heartless. She is your own sister," Liora's crying voice was particularly loud, immediately attracting the attention of people passing by.
"Cecily, I know you don't like your sister. So, you can let her go. Auntie will move out of Watson's Family with her immediately, and she won't bother you anymore. Is that not enough?"
"Step aside."
"No, Cecily, you..."
Cecily, with an expressionless face, glanced at the woman kneeling in front of her, pushed away her hand, and Liora fell to the side, pretending to look pitiful.
Raphael had never liked Cecily, and seeing the situation, he angrily said, "Cecily, we are family. Do you have to disregard any sense of empathy?"
Cecily glanced faintly at the two of them, took out her phone, and dialed the emergency number. She didn't want to say another word to them.
"What are you trying to do, Cecily!" Raphael reached out and slapped her phone away.
Cecily watched as her phone fell from her hand and coldly chuckled. "Haven't you learned enough lessons?"
Raphael raised his hand, pointing ferociously at Cecily. "Cecily, I advise you not to go too far. We are all family. If something happens to you in the future, we won't stand up for you."
This comment from Raphael made Cecily find it laughable.
She had never seen such shameless people before.
She really didn't understand what her mother saw in him.
"If something happens to me, you would all raise your glasses to celebrate and then stab me again. Stand up for me? When have you ever stood up for me?"
"That's because you are heartless. Your sister is still at the police station, yet you happily plan a birthday banquet for yourself. Do you have no shame?"
Upon hearing this, Cecily instantly understood that it was Ophelia who instigated these two idiots to cause trouble.
She let out a cold laugh.
"Ophelia sent you here?"
Liora's expression changed upon hearing that. "And what if she did? Even outsiders are trying everything they can to get your sister out, but you want to send your own blood sister to prison."
Cecily raised an eyebrow, slowly crouched down, and looked at Liora. Her voice was low and chilling. "Liora, are you really stupid or pretending to be? Ophelia made your daughter lose her innocence and then made your daughter take the blame for herself. And now she is using you to make a scene in front of me, causing both of us harm. And you think she's helping you?"
"What do you mean? Blame? Wasn't Elysia just instigated by her?" Liora suddenly froze in her tracks.
Liora had always believed that Elysia was just being influenced by Ophelia to do this. She had no idea that Elysia was actually just a scapegoat.
"Oh, so you didn't know. Actually, Ophelia did all of this, and your daughter took all the blame. She's about to face sentencing, and here you are, still grateful to her. Isn't that ridiculous?"
"Are you telling the truth?"
The expression on Liora's face changed.
"Why would I lie to you? Think carefully about this matter, who benefits the most from it? You should think about everything your daughter has done, who benefits in the end, and who gets hurt."
Ophelia benefited.
Elysia got hurt.
Liora clearly took in Cecily's words, and her gaze became fierce. "Yes, it was Ophelia."
Elysia followed Ophelia in everything she did, and Ophelia always benefited from it, while Elysia took all the bullets.
She had initially been grateful to Ophelia for helping her strategize, but it turned out that Ophelia had manipulated them into standing up for her against Cecily.
Well, what a despicable person.
Although Cecily was their enemy.
However, Ophelia was even more detestable!
Every time something happened, she would just walk away, leaving all the blame to Elysia!
At this moment, Liora wished she could rush into the hospital and kill Ophelia.
Seeing the hatred in Liora's eyes, Cecily raised an eyebrow and walked away.
Liora's gaze turned fierce, and she reached out to stop Cecily. "I'll help you deal with Ophelia. Just let Elysia go."
Cecily smiled lightly, "Sure when Ophelia gets the punishment she deserves, I'll present a letter of forgiveness to let your daughter go."
"Do you believe me?"
Cecily smirked, "I don't believe you, but I believe that as a mother, you wouldn't want your daughter to go to jail for someone else."
To have the accomplice sit in prison while the culprit lived a prosperous and happy life, who would willingly accept that?
Except for Elysia, this foolish girl who still believed in Ophelia, thinking that she would find a way to get her out.
Cecily took out her car keys, ready to drive away.
But a Rolls-Royce slowly pulled up next to her. Cecily took a step back as the car door opened, and Sawyer got out.
"Miss Cecily, Mr. Fitzgerald Sr. would like to see you."
Sawyer leaned to the side, gesturing for Cecily to get in the car.
Cecily looked toward the open car door and saw Owen sitting inside.
Cecily glanced at the car behind her, where four bodyguards were sitting. If Cecily disagreed, she feared she would be bundled into the car directly.
Reluctantly, Cecily lowered her gaze and smiled, then stepped into the car.
Owen's face was full of dignity, and his oppressive gaze fell upon Cecily. He had a look that said he thought Cecily was sensible.
"What do you want to talk about with me?"
The only things Owen could talk to her about were the incidents involving Darian, and Cecily knew this before asking.
"I believe you have already seen the news online that Darian and Ophelia are getting engaged."
Cecily chuckled softly and looked at Owen. "Yes, I saw it. Congratulations are in order, I suppose."
Owen lifted his cup and calmly took a sip of water. He sighed in a subdued voice, "Unfortunately, Darian doesn't want to marry Ophelia."
"Is that my concern? Owen, do you want me to persuade Darian to marry Ophelia?"
"Of course, it's your concern. Without you, Darian wouldn't be like this. He would be able to focus on this engagement."
"Are you asking me to disappear?" Cecily's voice was straightforward, with no more beating around the bush. She asked directly.
Owen suddenly laughed and looked at Cecily. "I really liked your intelligence back then."
"If you have something to say, please say it directly."
"All right." Owen no longer dawdled.
"I heard that you have your own company. I can use the connections of Fitzgerald's Family to help your company grow beyond its current scale within a year."
"You can make perfume, but you were forever banned from a previous perfume-making competition due to plagiarism. Now, I can provide you with the best resources to erase your dark history and let you step onto the stage as a perfume maker again."
"If you want to continue pursuing a medical career, I can also recommend you to the best hospital."
To Owen, these generous conditions seemed irresistible to Cecily.
However, Cecily's expression remained unchanged. She simply asked, "What do I need to do?"
"I will send you abroad, and you will never be allowed to return to Silver Frost Capital."
Owen said he would send her abroad.
Not her and the children abroad.
