Chapter 221 He's Dying
The next day, Cecily arrived at the airport. She had decided to return because she couldn't bear to leave Griffin and Rowan behind. As she stepped back into Silver Frost Capital, her heart was heavy with mixed emotions. Finally, she had come back.
A white Audi pulled up in front of Cecily, and Aurelie rushed out of the car, her eyes filled with tears. "Cecily..." Aurelie didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the sight of Cecily, "Is it really you?"
Cecily smiled, "It's me." Aurelie couldn't hold back her tears and embraced her tightly. "Cecily! I thought I was dreaming when you called me yesterday. I was so worried about you." Cecily wiped Aurelie's tears away. "I'm sorry for making you all worry. I'm back."
"I'm so glad you're back." Cecily wiped the tears from Aurelie's face. "Let's get in the car and talk."
"Where are Rowan and Griffin? How are they?" Cecily was concerned about Rowan and Griffin. She had been unconscious for two months after the sea accident, and they must have been worried about her. Cecily had called Rowan and Griffin yesterday, but they should have been at school, so they didn't answer the phone.
"Rowan and Griffin are staying with the Fitzgerald family now. I can only see them occasionally. They seem fine, but they must be heartbroken without you."
"And Darian, his situation is not good. I heard that his sleep disorder has become more and more serious, and he spends his days looking for you. When we couldn't find you, everyone said you were dead, but Darian was convinced that you were alive, and he said he would find you no matter what... "

"They won't. Cecily, don't worry. Rowan and Griffin have missed you a lot, and they'll be thrilled to see you."
Time passed slowly, and the end of the school day arrived. The school gate was opened, and the children started to come out one by one. Aurelie saw the people from the Fitzgerald family who had come to pick up Rowan and Griffin, and she said to Cecily, "Cecily, the people from the Fitzgerald family are here. If you don't want them to see you, I can go and bring Griffin and Rowan over."
"Will they agree?"
"They are Darian's subordinates, not Darian's. If I talk to them, they should agree." Cecily didn't want to be seen by the people from the Fitzgerald family to avoid unnecessary trouble, "Okay."
Aurelie got out of the car and walked towards the people from the Fitzgerald family, and at the same time, the two familiar figures had already come out of the school. Griffin and Rowan, with their little backpacks, Rowan as expressionless as ever, and Griffin, who seemed to have grown up a lot, holding Rowan's hand, his expression cold.
Cecily could tell from Griffin and Rowan's expressions that they were not happy. Cecily's heart ached, and she couldn't help but feel sorry for them.
Aurelie said something to the people from the Fitzgerald family and then brought Griffin and Rowan over. "Aurelie, where are we going?" Griffin raised his little head and asked Aurelie.
Aurelie gently rubbed Griffin's head, "I'm taking you to see someone."
"Who?" Rowan asked.
Aurelie smiled, "You'll find out when you see her." She maintained a sense of mystery. Obviously, Griffin and Rowan were not excited about anything other than seeing Cecily.
"Get in the car." Aurelie opened the back door and signaled for Griffin and Rowan to get in.
Suddenly, Griffin and Rowan stood frozen in place, staring at the person in the car with wide eyes, unable to believe it.
Cecily got out of the car without hesitation and embraced both Griffin and Rowan. "My babies, Mommy's back."
Griffin and Rowan remained motionless until Cecily's voice reached their ears, and her warm embrace held them. Tears instantly filled their big eyes, and soon, tears rolled down their cheeks.
"Mommy?" Griffin asked tentatively.
"Yes, Mommy's here. I'm sorry, Rowan and Griffin. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting for so long. I'm back." Cecily's voice trembled as she held Griffin and Rowan tightly.
Griffin and Rowan finally realized that Cecily had really come back, and they weren't dreaming. "Mommy, Mommy..." Griffin and Rowan burst into tears, hugging Cecily. Griffin and Rowan thought that what they had been told was true and that Cecily would never come back. They had indeed been deceived. Their Mommy had come back! She really came back!
Aurelie, watching this scene, couldn't help but tear up as well. Cecily let go of Rowan and Griffin and reached out to wipe the tears from their faces. "Don't cry, Rowan, Griffin, I won't leave you again. I'm really sorry for making you worry for so long."
"We knew they were lying to us. Mommy wouldn't die." Griffin said as he cried, burying himself in Cecily's arms, "Mommy, we'll never be apart again, okay?"
Cecily felt a pang in her heart and said in a gentle voice, "Okay, we'll never be apart again."
Aurelie reminded in a soft voice, "Cecily, let's get the kids in the car first."
"Okay." Cecily got into the car with Griffin and Rowan. Aurelie started the car. Griffin and Rowan sat on either side of Cecily, holding her tightly, unwilling to let go.
"Mommy, does Daddy know you're back?" Rowan suddenly looked up and asked.
Cecily shook her head, "Not yet. I came to see you first. As for your Daddy..." Cecily had no intention of going to see Darian. Even if she did see him, she didn't know what to say.
"Mommy," Rowan held Cecily's hand. "Can you go see Daddy? He's not doing well—he's really not doing well now. Daddy says he knows he was wrong, and he's been looking for you all this time."
They have all seen Darian's condition over the past two months. It was the first time Rowan had seen Darian so dejected. Griffin also looked at Cecily and advised, "Mommy, Daddy can't sleep every night now, and he's looking for you except for going to work. Sometimes, we see him drinking alone until he gets drunk, but even so, he keeps calling your name. Go see him, or Daddy will really die."
"He's going to die?" Cecily looked at Griffin in surprise.
Griffin nodded, "Uncle Declan said that if Daddy continues to live like this, his body will eventually collapse. Mommy, can you go see him?"
Griffin and Rowan looked up at Cecily, pleading one after another. Although they usually stand on Cecily's side and don't want to care about Darian, they have seen Darian's condition over the past two months, and they really feel sorry for him.
Cecily hesitated for a moment and asked, "Where is he now?"
Seeing that Cecily had the intention to go see Darian, Griffin quickly said, "We can call Daddy. Daddy didn't come back last night."
Rowan called Darian, but his phone was turned off. Rowan called Larkin again and learned that Darian was now in a private room at a club. "Daddy went to drink."
Cecily felt a little dazed as she looked at Griffin and Rowan. She could see that their attitude towards Darian had changed a lot in the past two months. "Cecily, do you want to go?" Aurelie, who was driving, asked.
Cecily hadn't spoken yet, but Griffin and Rowan each held her hand tightly, their eager eyes making it impossible for Cecily to refuse. "Let's go."
After they arrived at the club, Aurelie Griffin and Rowan waited in the car while Cecily went in alone.
