Chapter 170 A Just Deed
"Heh, just wait." Evander's eyes flashed with darkness as he walked to the window and made a phone call.
Aurelie looked at him, confused.
Half an hour later.
The two of them somehow obtained two sets of doctors' clothes, carrying two buckets of white liquid in the hospital buckets. They appeared outside Ophelia's ward.
Aurelie looked at the object in her hand, then at the fully disguised leading man beside her. "Are you sure no one will recognize you?"
"What's there to be afraid of? I'm doing a just deed."
Aurelie raised her hand to give him a thumbs up. "Just for this 'a just deed', you've gained a friend in me."
Evander smiled.
"Let's go."
The two of them pushed open the door of the ward, and Ophelia was leaning on the bed, scrolling through her phone.
She was looking much better.
Although her injuries were painful, they were not life-threatening.
The Flores family had plenty of money to provide her with the best medical resources, as well as three servants who served her continuously, making her feel like a princess. It didn't seem like she was being treated for her illness but rather enjoying a life of luxury.
Today, Elysia was also present, sitting next to her, and angrily said, "Cecily, that despicable woman, went too far. How dare she hurt you like this? How can her filthy child compare to you."
Elysia was about to continue speaking.
Upon seeing a doctor enter, Ophelia made eye contact with her, signaling her to be quiet.
Elysia closed her mouth.
Aurelie heard this and clenched her teeth under her mask.
'Well, it seems that Elysia is also involved in this matter.'
'Perfect, then teach her a lesson too.'
Ophelia glanced at the two of them and asked, "Didn't you already come to check earlier? Why are you here again?"
Aurelie lowered her voice and said, "We didn't examine carefully earlier. We've come to examine you again."
Ophelia felt suspicious and looked at the things they were carrying. "What are you holding?"
"We know you lost too much blood, so we specially brought you some blood."
Ophelia became even more confused and felt that something was not right with their voices.
Then, the two of them opened the lid on the bucket.
Immediately, Ophelia's face changed. "He.."
The two didn't give her a chance to call out.
Lifting the bucket of pig blood, they poured it forcefully onto their heads.
In an instant...
A dazzling red.
Ophelia and Elysia were completely covered in pig blood.
An overwhelming stench filled the air.
Elysia panicked and jumped back but slipped and fell hard on the ground.
Ophelia was even worse off, unable to move and only able to scream, ultimately swallowing a mouthful of pig blood.
"Ugh~" Ophelia kept vomiting, feeling extremely nauseous.
Completely covered in pig blood, she couldn't even see her own features, only a struggling figure in red.
Aurelie dropped the bucket in her hand and looked at the pitiful state of the two. "How is it? Is it fresh enough?"
Ophelia haphazardly wiped her face, but no matter how much she wiped, she couldn't clean off the thick blood.
Ophelia screamed out, "Who are you?"
"I am your grandmother," Aurelie said, hands on her hips. "Take this as a lesson, you vile woman. If you dare to do evil again, I will throw sulfuric acid on you and kill you."
"You! You!" Ophelia felt herself going mad with anger.
Elysia quickly stood up from the ground and charged at Aurelie. Evander, seeing this, picked up a plastic bucket and placed it over her head.
Elysia suddenly couldn't see anything and fell hard on the ground.
Aurelie clapped her hands and laughed, giving Evander a thumbs-up.
Evander smiled coldly.
The commotion inside was not small, and soon, the area outside was filled with people.
Aurelie was afraid that Evander would be noticed, so she immediately grabbed him and ran outside.
Behind them, Ophelia's screams of anger echoed, "Someone! Someone! Someone! Ah! Catch them both for me!"
Several servants were scared by the scene just now and hid in the corner. Now, they reacted, but it was too late to chase after them.
The entrance of the ward was surrounded by people watching this chaotic and somewhat terrifying scene. Everyone took out their phones to take pictures.
"Wow, what have these two people done? How could someone retaliate against them like this?"
"Yeah. They must have done something bad; otherwise, others wouldn't retaliate against them like this."
Elysia rushed out in a chaotic state, and the people around immediately covered their noses and moved away.
"It stinks, oh my God, it's so disgusting. Go inside quickly, and don't run out."
"That's right, don't come out and cause trouble for others."
The voices of the crowd made Elysia feel ashamed and helpless, so she could only awkwardly return to the ward.
However, the whole room was filled with the smell of blood, extremely pungent, and smelling made people vomit constantly.
Ophelia vomited.
Moreover, she was injured and couldn't touch water. The sticky pig blood on her body couldn't be washed off if not cleaned properly.
Ophelia sat on the bed, powerless, and was about to go crazy.
Aurelie ran with Evander for a long distance, made sure that no one followed, and then realized it. She immediately let go of his hand. "Sorry, things were urgent just now. There were so many people, and I was afraid your fans would recognize you."
"It's all right." Evander took off his mask and smiled. "I said I would do a just deed, so what if I'm discovered?"
Aurelie raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you afraid of Ophelia's revenge? She is the daughter of the Flores family."
The Flores family had high prestige and influence in Silver Frost Capital, and few people dared to offend them.
Evander didn't care at all. "What can she do even if she recognizes me? If she has the guts, she can come and seek revenge. Besides, you're not afraid either."
Aurelie almost forgot that this big movie star came from a prominent background.
The power of the Lockwood family was enough to rival the Flores family, so there was really nothing to fear. And who could have imagined that the proud movie star on the silver screen would one day personally carry a big bucket of pig blood to teach someone a lesson?
"I'm not afraid either." Aurelie smiled indifferently.
After changing their clothes, the two of them returned to the ward where Cecily had stayed.
Outside the Intensive Care Unit, Cecily clenched her hands tightly, unable to relax for a moment.
That dream made Cecily afraid that it would accidentally become a reality.
Darian looked at the woman, her expression tense. He hesitated for a moment and reached out to hold her hand.
Cecily tried to pull her hand away, but he held onto her even tighter. Cecily glanced at him and let him be.
Darian's eyes were deep, and his voice was hoarse as he said, "The doctor said Rowan's condition is slightly more stable compared to yesterday, and he will gradually get better."
A faint glimmer of hope flashed through Cecily's dim eyes as she nodded gently.
Yes, he would get better. Her Rowan would definitely get better.
Larkin walked quickly toward them and bent down to whisper something in Darian's ear.
Frowning, Darian asked, "Who did it?"
"We don't know yet. It's said that the scene was in chaos. Mr. Flores and Miss Ophelia over there are already furious," Larkin said with a hint of amusement in his voice.
'Let them be furious. They deserve it.'
Larkin wanted to give the person who did this big thumbs up.
Darian glanced at him. "Is it funny?"
Larkin had seen some pictures online and found those two people splattered with pig's blood quite... amusing.
It was mainly satisfying.
Darian's eyes darkened as he glanced at Cecily beside him.
Not knowing what they were talking about, Cecily asked when she saw Darian looking at her like that, "What's wrong?"
"Ophelia was doused with pig's blood in the ward," Darian said.
Cecily looked at Darian. "And then? Do you suspect it was me?"
