Chapter 271 Remarry Me

Evan thought for a moment. "No, it's getting late today. We'll go ourselves tomorrow."

Caleb had no objections.

At the Fitzgerald family, Cecily and Darian went to pick up the two children today, and the kids were thrilled to see Cecily.

When the kids heard Darian say that Cecily would live with them, they were even more ecstatic.

Griffin's eyes sparkled as he looked at his parents. "Really? Can we all live together from now on?"

Darian nodded. "Yes."

"Can we live together forever and ever?" Rowan added.

The two kids looked up with hopeful eyes, gazing at Darian and Cecily as if they were the entire universe.

Cecily's expression froze for a moment.

Live together forever?

That would mean she had to remarry Darian.

Only spouses could live together forever!

Darian smiled and glanced at the woman beside him, teasingly saying, "I would love that, but I wonder if your mommy is willing."

All three of them turned their gaze towards Cecily.

Cecily looked at their unified and irresistible gaze, helplessly chuckling. "You two adore your daddy so much, but I don't want to live with him forever."

Darian raised an eyebrow. "Cecily, you can only live with me forever. If not me, then who do you want to be with?"

Cecily pursed her lips. "Let's talk about it later. There are plenty of men in the world, not just you."

Darian's expression changed, and he pulled her into his embrace. "You have no other choice. If you think about spending your life with someone else, I'll tie you up and force you to remarry. Do you believe me?"

Cecily was startled by his sudden move and quickly glanced at the two children, afraid of Darian's next actions.

Cecily's beautiful eyes met his, and she gritted her teeth, lowering her voice. "Shameless. Let go of me."

Darian chuckled, leaning closer to her, his dark eyes reflecting Cecily's face clearly.

"Cecily, I'll listen to you on everything else, but this matter is non-negotiable. You can call me shameless or a rogue. I don't care. Go ahead and insult me. Anyway, it won't change the outcome."

Warm breaths mingled between them.

Cecily's heart trembled.

Darian was incredibly domineering.

Cecily raised her hand to cover his mouth and straightened up. "You don't get to decide that."

"Yes, I do," Darian said in a low voice. "I definitely do."

Cecily didn't want to discuss this issue with him any further. She pushed him away, turned around, and held the hands of the two children. "Let's go, Rowan and Griffin."

They got into the car, and the driver took them directly back to the Fitzgerald family.

Before entering the living room of the Fitzgerald family, Darian held Cecily's hand and led her in, with Rowan and Griffin carrying their small backpacks and walking beside them. The whole family looked harmonious.

It was just in time for dinner, and the Fitzgerald family was livelier than usual because Cameron brought his family to accompany Owen

Cameron had two children, Dylan and Madison, and the elegantly dressed lady with them was his wife, Brooklyn.

Owen had been through a lot with Darian, but this family of four knew how to please him, bringing a few more smiles to his face.

When they saw Darian returning with the children, their expressions changed. Cameron's wife, Brooklyn, was the first to speak, "Darian is back! Come on, we were just about to have dinner. Bring the children over to eat. Oh, and who is this?"

Brooklyn looked at Cecily with feigned ignorance. "We have a guest. Miss, please have a seat too."

Cecily, facing the lady's pretentious kindness, offered a polite, restrained smile.

"Daddy, who are they?" Rowan and Griffin tugged at Darian's sleeve and asked.

Darian glanced at them and replied indifferently, "They are unimportant people."

Upon hearing this, everyone's expressions changed.

"Let's eat," Darian said, holding Cecily's hand and heading towards the dining table.

Owen sat at the head of the table, his expression not very pleasant, but he remained silent, eating his food.

At the dining table, the family of four exchanged glances. Darian took care of Cecily and the two children throughout the meal, constantly serving them food and peeling shrimp for Cecily.

Cecily looked at her plate, which was filled to the brim, and helplessly said, "That's enough, Darian. I can't finish all of this."

There was a large amount of food in front of her, and Cecily felt a bit embarrassed. After all, they were guests in someone else's home, and it wouldn't be polite to leave too much uneaten.

Darian replied, "Just eat what you like. If you can't finish, I'll help you."

The others at the table had been wanting to talk to Darian, but they couldn't find an opportunity to interject.

The dinner was harmonious and finished without any issues.

After dinner, Brooklyn began giving various instructions to the servants, arranging rooms for herself and her children in the villa as if she owned the place.

The room that Darian arranged for Cecily was on the same floor as hers, and Madison took a liking to that room as well. At this moment, she was arguing and demanding it, much to the servant's distress.

Madison stood with her hands on her hips. "I want this room. Why should it be given to an outsider?"

As Cecily was heading upstairs, Madison called out to her with a condescending attitude, "You, come here."

Cecily turned her head and glanced at her. "What is it?"

"I want this room. You, an outsider, have no right to stay in such a nice room."

Cecily raised an eyebrow, not intending to say anything. After all, this was not her home.

"Who do you think you are calling an outsider?" Darian's cold voice came from the staircase.

Madison paused and looked at Darian, who exuded a chilling aura. "Darian..."

Darian's face turned cold. "Say that again."

Under Darian's intimidating gaze, Madison fell silent. "I..."

Cecily gently tugged at Darian's hand, indicating that he didn't need to do this for her.

Darian glanced at Cecily and raised his voice slightly. "Someone, come here."

"Darian."

"Move all their belongings to the backyard."

"The backyard?" Madison's voice rose. "Darian, why? Why should we live in the backyard?"

"You're not going?"

Madison bit her lip.

The commotion attracted attention from downstairs, and Cameron hurriedly came up with Brooklyn and Dylan.

Cameron looked at Madison and asked, "Madison, what are you doing?"

Madison looked at her father with a pitiful expression. "Dad, I just want this woman's room, but Darian wants us to move to the backyard. Why should we live there?"

While the backyard of the Fitzgerald family was decent, with servants' quarters nearby, it was not as good as the main house.

Of course, they were unwilling to go. After going through so much to come back, being arranged to the backyard was unacceptable.

Cameron frowned and looked at Darian. "Darian, if there's something wrong, just tell me. Why should we move to the backyard..."

"Do you need me to send someone to help you move?" Darian's voice was domineering, leaving no room for argument.

Cameron also became agitated. "Darian, don't go too far. Who do you think you are to send us to the backyard?"

"Just because I have the power over the Fitzgerald family."

"You!" Cameron furrowed his brow. "So what? With your current behavior, Dad might take back your position as the heir."

"If that day really comes, you're welcome to try and kick me out," Darian said indifferently, not concerned at all.
