Chapter 315 Vincent's Poisoning

"Alright, stop messing around, hurry up and eat, we need to get back soon," Cecily said as she placed a slice of bread from the extra plate into the plates of the two little ones.

Seeing Darian's expression, Cecily smiled helplessly and placed one for him too under Darian's gaze, "You should eat too."

Darian's expression improved a bit at this.

After breakfast, Darian arranged for a private plane. Owen and Sandra Thompson joined them on the return trip, while Hayden and Declan opted to go back with Darian rather than making separate arrangements.

Owen and Sandra Thompson had already arrived at the airport, while Cecily and Darian arrived a bit later with the two children.

Owen's face soured upon seeing Cecily, but she was used to it and didn't feel uncomfortable.

"Darian, Cecily," Hayden and Declan had arrived earlier and came over to greet them.

Owen furrowed his brows and said sternly, "Since everyone is here, let's go. Rowan, Griffin, come over to here."

Owen reached out to the two little ones, but they resisted and held onto Cecily's hand. "No, we want to stay with Mommy, we don't like you."

Despite their young age, the two little ones understood everything very well.

If Grandpa didn't like Mommy, then they didn't like him either. They didn't like anyone who didn't like Mommy.

Upon hearing this, Owen's expression darkened, and he glared at Cecily. "Did you teach them this?"

Before Cecily could say anything, Griffin spoke up, "It's not Mommy who taught us, you always targets Mommy, do you also want us to like you?"

Owen's eyes darkened, "You are my great-grandchildren, descendants of the Fitzgerald's Family, how can you be distant from me?"

Rowan said, "We are Mommy's sons first, then your great-grandchildren."

Griffin nodded vigorously in agreement. "Exactly."

Darian raised an eyebrow but remained silent, offering a approving glance to the two youngsters. Owen observed their protective behavior towards Cecily, his hand tightly gripping the cane, veins bulging.

With a grunt of anger, Owen turned and walked onto the private plane.

Sandra Thompson glanced at them helplessly and shook her head before following them onto the plane.

"Sister, did he bother you?" Vincent's eyes darkened slightly.

Cecily looked at Vincent and noticed the intensity in his eyes. She quickly shook her head and said, "No, he didn't bother me.”

Cecily knew that this person had extraordinary abilities and a somewhat impulsive temper, so she was afraid he might do something.

Vincent raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? Well then." He took a step back, and in the next instant, his body began to sway uncontrollably.

Cecily noticed this and quickly reached out to support him. "Vincent?”
Vincent raised a hand to his head, closed his eyes tightly, and shook his head forcefully.

Damn it, it started again.

"Vincent? Vincent? What's wrong with you?" Cecily was worried about him.

Vincent took a few seconds to recover before lifting his head, his eyes clear again to reassure Cecily, "Sister, don't worry; I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

Cecily noticed something off in his expression.

"Yes."

Cecily's concern grew as she gazed at Vincent, pausing for a moment before saying, "Allow me to inspect you more closely."

Vincent complied, letting her examine him.

After a brief pause, Cecily furrowed her brow even more and asked, "You seem to be in poor health right now. Do you frequently experience headaches?"

Vincent calmly pulled back his hand, smiled, and replied, "It's an old issue; I'll be alright in a moment.”

Darian walked over quickly, his gaze falling on the two. "What's going on?"

“Nothing, it's nothing; don't all stare at me. I'll board the plane first," Vincent declared, walking confidently towards the plane.

Darian noticed Cecily's furrowed brow and gently asked, "What's the matter with him?”

"It's hard to say."

From their brief interaction just now, Cecily couldn't pinpoint what was troubling him. Physically, he appeared fine, but his frequent headaches were concerning. Additionally, he had mentioned experiencing memory lapses, which seemed to be connected to his headaches.

Darian said, "Let's go back first; we can sort things out when we get back."

Cecily sighed, "That's all we can do for now."

Cecily boarded the private plane.

Hayden raised an eyebrow as he watched this scene and leaned in next to Darian. "Darian, who is the person next to Cecily?"

Darian's eyes darkened. "He has no name, no identity. I couldn’t find any information about him. I don't know."

Darian couldn't allow someone to remain by Cecily's side without understanding who they truly were. He had dispatched someone to look into Vincent's background the day before, but they had uncovered nothing. Vincent remained a mystery.

Luckily, after observing him closely for the past two days, Darian concluded that he didn't pose a threat to Cecily. As a result, he permitted Vincent to stay by her side without any further objections.

The group boarded the private plane, while in a dark corner at that moment, someone was secretly watching them.
