Chapter 431 Another Rescue
Freya came out of the operating room but was still in critical condition and got sent straight to the ICU.
Jennifer collapsed into Bryan's arms, crying her eyes out. Owen stood nearby with a cane, shaking his head helplessly.
"Freya saved the Fitzgerald family's kid. Don't worry, we'll get the best doctors. She'll pull through."
"Yeah, Jennifer, don't be too sad. Freya will be fine," Olivia assured, trying to comfort the inconsolable Jennifer.
Even though Josep and Olivia knew Jennifer and Freya had tried to frame Aurelia and later sabotaged their plan, they still had to put on a show.
Jennifer couldn't hear a thing, her tears flowing endlessly.
Bryan frowned and patted her shoulder. "Alright, stop crying for now. I asked Sam to get lunch. You need to eat something, or you'll collapse."
"With Freya like this, how can I eat?" Jennifer took a deep breath and looked at Bryan. "Bryan, if Freya dies, what will I do?"
Bryan's face was heavy with sorrow, unable to answer her.
"Freya's a good girl. She saved Cecily's kid, however, Cecily not even bringing the kid to see you, not even a word of thanks. It's really disheartening," Olivia said, pretending to be helpless.
Hearing this, Jennifer suddenly looked up and shouted, "Freya is still in danger, and Cecily falsely accused us. What did we do wrong?"

Owen nodded and looked at Jennifer. "Olivia's right. We are all very grateful to Freya. If you have any requests, just ask. As long as I can do it, I will."
Jennifer said painfully, "What's the use of saying this now? Freya is still in danger. Nothing is important to me."
Jennifer knew that even if she said this, the Fitzgerald family would definitely repay them.
Just as Jennifer finished speaking, a commotion came from the hallway.
Reporters with professional interview equipment seemed to have made an appointment, heading straight for Jennifer.
In an instant, Jennifer and Bryan were surrounded by people.
Jennifer was a bit confused, and Bryan frowned deeply at the reporters. "What are you doing?"
The reporters turned on their cameras and pointed their mics at Jennifer and Bryan.
"Ms. Murphy, is the video online true?"
"Ms. Murphy, your daughter Miss Cruz is now in critical condition after saving the Fitzgerald family's child, Rowan. Rowan's mother, Miss Watson, not only didn't show gratitude but also said you brought it on yourselves and even hit someone. What happened? Can you tell us?"

Josep and Olivia quietly stepped back, smirking with schadenfreude.
If this blew up, Cecily and Darian would be too busy to investigate anything.
Josep smiled to himself. ‘Let it be chaotic, the more chaotic, the better.‘
Jennifer quickly realized the reporters were asking about the morning's events. She wasn't about to miss this chance to smear Cecily.
She took the opportunity to speak, crying even more heartbreakingly for the cameras.
"Yes, what you said happened at the door of the operating room this morning is true.“
”Cecily and her mother Vivienne not only didn't appreciate Freya saving their child but also said we brought it on ourselves. I really don't know how they could say such things."
The reporters were indignant, feeling sympathy for Jennifer and Freya.

"I heard Miss Cruz is out of the operating room. Is she out of danger now?"

Jennifer pushed through the reporters and grabbed a doctor. "Doctor, what's going on? What's happening to Freya?"
