Chapter 528 Die Together
Freya couldn't help but smile, the madness in her eyes growing even more intense.
'Cecily, go to hell,' her inner voice said.
Meanwhile, Bryan was still checking surveillance footage and looking for someone.
He found out that Freya had sold some jewelry, she got some money and rented a car, then she drove to the Fitzgerald Manor. When that led nowhere, she went to the hospital.
She inquired about Cecily's room number at the hospital. However, it was unknown whether she had found out or not. Bryan saw from the surveillance footage that she quickly left the hospital.
Bryan sensed that Freya wasn't just running away; she was looking for Cecily.
What did she want with Cecily?
"Mr. Whitaker." Sam jogged up to Bryan and quickly said, "We've found Miss Cruz."
"Where is she?"
For no reason, Bryan's voice trembled a bit.
"Miss Cruz went to the Bennett Manor, and she bought a whole can of gasoline."
Freya bought a can of gasoline and went to the Bennett Manor!
What on earth was she planning? Bryan had a vague idea but didn't want to believe it.
"Is Vivienne at the hospital or home tonight?" Bryan asked immediately.
"Mrs. Whitaker is at home tonight. And I also inquired at the hospital, and the nurse said Miss Watson had been discharged and returned home today. If I'm not mistaken, Miss Cruz found out about this and went to the Bennett Manor."
A chill ran down Bryan's spine.
It was now clear what Freya intended to do.
She found out at the hospital that Cecily was discharged, so she prepared a can of gasoline to go to the Bennett Manor to burn Cecily and Vivienne, taking them down with her!
Bryan couldn't think of any other possibility.
He clenched his fists, realizingFreya was simply insane.
"Go to the Bennett Manor.Quickly!" Bryan didn't have time to consider whether there was a problem with this. He jumped into the car and immediately called Vivienne.
However, as usual, all his calls to Vivienne went unanswered.
Vivienne wouldn't pick up his calls.
He then called Cecily.
But Cecily had blocked him, and he couldn't get through.
In frustration, Bryan looked at Sam and said, "Give me your phone."
Sam immediately handed his phone to Bryan. Bryan called Cecily, but perhaps Cecily was already asleep at this hour, and she didn't answer.
Bryan was anxious, his gaze as cold as ice. He couldn't understand why Freya was doing this.
Was she crazy?
Why did she have to risk her life and harm others?
Bryan had no idea what was happening at the Bennett Manor. If Freya really set the Bennett Manor on fire with gasoline, he couldn't imagine what would happen to Vivienne and Cecily.
His heart pounded violently.
Bryan shouted in frustration, "Stop the car."
The driver immediately stopped the car. Bryan got out, then got into the driver's seat and floored the gas pedal. The car shot out like an arrow.
Sam, sitting in the passenger seat, gripped the handle tightly. He could guarantee this was the fastest car ride he'd had in a while.
Bryan gripped the steering wheel tightly, speeding towards the Bennett Manor.
He was scared. If he was a second too late, he wouldn't be able to stop Freya.
He feared that if something happened to Vivienne and Cecily, he couldn't bear the consequences.
At this moment, Freya, with a twisted face, held the gasoline, muttering under her breath, "I'll burn you! Go to hell! Go to hell."
The person lying on the bed stirred and woke up.
Eliza couldn't see anything, but she smelled a strong odor of gasoline.
She tried to sit up but found her hands tied with a rope.
She wanted to scream, but her mouth was gagged with a cloth, making it impossible to make a sound.
Eliza panicked!
In an unfamiliar environment, unable to see anything and tied up, Eliza didn't know what she was about to face.
She had been at the Fitzgerald Manor when two people suddenly broke in and knocked her out. She knew nothing after that.
When she woke up, she found herself in this situation, with the strong smell of gasoline indicating something terrible was about to happen.
Who wanted to harm her?
Could it be that she had given poison to Josep to harm Darian, and Darian sought revenge?
No!
Help!
Eliza was terrified. She forced herself to stay calm, but her body's instinctive fear made her tremble uncontrollably.
She struggled and fell off the bed, which caught Freya's attention.
Freya walked over to Eliza and excitedly patted her face in the dark. "Cecily, didn't expect this, did you? Next year, on this day, it will be the anniversary of your death. Do you want to take my father from me? No way. You'll never have what I can't. If I die, you will be coming with me."
Eliza shook her head frantically. She didn't know who this madwoman was, but she could tell that this lunatic's target was Cecily.
And because she had undergone plastic surgery to look like Cecily, this lunatic mistook her for Cecily.
She wanted to say she wasn't Cecily, but Freya had gagged her, making it impossible to speak. Her hands were tied, and she couldn't escape.
"What do you want to say? Begging for mercy? Too late. Tonight, we die together!" Freya yanked Eliza's hair and brought a lighter close to her.
Hearing Freya's crazed words, Eliza felt her heart was about to leap out of her chest.
She didn't want to die. Especially not burned alive by this lunatic in place of Cecily.
Maybe it was the survival instinct. As Freya got closer, Eliza suddenly lunged forward, crashing into Freya.
Freya, already injured, was hit right on her wound, causing her to grimace in pain.
Taking advantage of the moment, Eliza got up and stumbled towards the door. But because of unfamiliar with the place and unable to see, she tripped over a chair. Ignoring the pain, she got up again, her bound hands reaching out in front of her, feeling for the door.
Seeing her trying to escape, Freya gritted her teeth, got up, and chased after her with the gasoline.
Eliza, in a panic, ran outside, down the hallway, and accidentally found the stairs. She missed a step and tumbled down.
Freya followed but didn't rush. She poured gasoline around and, with a fierce look, threw the lighter.
Flames erupted instantly.
